- The Great Comet Book
- Synopsis of the start: Your characters have been living on a mining facility located on a gigantic comet known as Caina. Caina is, by far, one of the largest comets known to man. It contains precious mineral resources that are currently being extracted by you poor bastards who, who may or may not even be here at will. (The facility itself partakes in the lovely intergalactic slave trade!) Caina is most known for containing a resource known as Ruschmium, a volatile, black substance that typically comes in liquid form. Ruschmium is a vital fuel resource, but must be handled with great care due to the dangers.
- Your character'sd also know about a drug called 'Rush', which is when liquid Ruschmium is put through a special purifying process before direct injection. Being the scumbag mining company it is, it wouldn't surprise you if the rumours that they refine Ruschmium into this and sell it on the market is true.
- Name: What's your name?
- Race: You are allowed to essentially make any race that the DM finds within reason. DM Will probably implement your race as an actual race in lore if it's cool enough.
- Age: How old are you? Pls no children. 18 Equivalent is kinda pushing it. 20+ equivalent preferably.
- Appearance: What do you look like?
- Personality: Just so I don't have to kill myself, please detail me your character's personality.
- Equipment: Your gear, foo'. Also include:
- Nanosuit: A suit designed to let you live in harsh conditions. True to its name, the nanosuit uses tiny robots that react to the conditions around to to allow you to not die. This includes:
- Oxygen: Basic life support. Nanomachines essentially act like a shit ton of baby trees by taking your carbon dioxide and turning it straight back to oxygen for you. You're breathing the same suit full of air for the rest of your life.
- Trauma: NANOMACHINES, SON. Nanomachines react to physical force placed upon it, hardening and mitigating damage dealt to the wearer. This allows miners to deal with things like falling rocks. Unfortunately, they aren't really state of the art, meaning while they harden, they won't make you able to lift anything that easily. A common prank on your lovely little camp is 'locking', which is essentially dropping a giant rock on someones ass and forcing their suit to harden, preventing them from moving until someone removes the rock from their body.
- The physical trauma your nanosuit can withstand is quite a bit. High-calibur guns or plasma will fuck you over though. Just ask the guys that tried messing with the guards in the sniper tower.
- Tl;Dr you have a fullbody hard hat that only works for falling rocks. It also locks down if a rock falls on you, which kinda sucks.
- Customization: Nanosuits are able to be customized very easily, allowing the wearer to add features they desire. Needless to say you poor bastards don't really get to customize your nanosuits unless its for a specific job.
- Background: Backgrounds are not necessarily that important in this roleplay; but one thing is for certain: All PCs begin on Caina, force or not.
- ASK DM FOR ANYTHING NEEDED PLEASE.
