  1. It was most definitely her turn to be treated.
  2.
  3. The moment that they arrive to the Blue Unicorn facility, he already points at the edge of the bed, for her to obviously take a seat- after witnessing so many times how treatment goes, and even experiencing it firsthand, there's no wonder that he could at the very least try and treat her.
  4.
  5. "Alright."
  6.
  7. "Take a seat and lemme see what this all is about."
  8.
  9. In the meantime, he goes to clean his hands, as well as put on a pair of medical gloves. That's what the rest of the medics were talking about, right?
  10.
  11. At least, that's what he remembers.
  12.
  13. "And, uh.."
  14.
  15. "Tell me where it hurts."
  16. (Kasimir Dusan)
  17.
  18. It was quite odd to Kasimir at work, especially since he didn't strike Eisele as being a medical professional at all whatsoever.
  19.
  20. A bit rough and tough, but perhaps he'd prove himself to have a gentle touch here?
  21.
  22. "O-Okay."
  23.
  24. Wincing, as she moved over to seat herself on the side of the bed, before swinging her legs up and into it altogether.
  25.
  26. "I hurt all over."
  27.
  28. Aches and bruises, though the only thing which required attention was the cuts across her forearms and legs. While her clothing was somewhat tattered, she wasn't seriously injured around her abdomen or chest.
  29.
  30. Compared to Eldin she had been rather lucky.
  31.
  32. "J-Just don't be rough."
  33.
  34. Further irritating the wounds would not be all that great, but she trusted him to handle it just as she had with him. Though the procedure she performed had been a bit more complicated.
  35.
  36. "My muscles alsoache, my back hurts bad."
  37.
  38. That was the last piece of information, cuts, bruises, and muscle aches. Having been banged up pretty good, though no lasting damage.
  39.
  40. She simply awaited, her arms laying out on either side.
  41. (Eisele Metras)
  42.
  43. That shouldn't be too difficult to treat.
  44.
  45. From the look of it, such wounds would require a bit of cleansing, a bit of care.. and perhaps even bandaging at anything that looks particularly bad, and then she should be good to go. In the end, he simply acknowledges that, if only to remark.
  46.
  47. "I got it."
  48.
  49. "I'll be gentle."
  50.
  51. Or at least he hopes to be. While he already fetches some saline solution to begin cleaning out the injuries, the touch is gentle, careful- enough to ensure that there's no discomfort, no pain inflicted upon her.. that she would be doing fine, despite the fact that it's gently swabbed.
  52.
  53. "I think aching and back pain would be helped with lax essence."
  54.
  55. "Cause it feels like it's the type of wounds that's just gonna heal over time.. but dunno." After all, he isn't exactly a medical professional.. at least not yet.
  56.
  57. Still, whereas he carefully cleans the wounds one after another, what comes next is him fetching a proper bottle of lax essence. There, he begins to search for the most bruised locations, anything that could give him a hint as to what hurts the most.
  58.
  59. "Alright.."
  60.
  61. "Try to not move too much in a bit."
  62. (Kasimir Dusan)
  63.
  64. Eisele remained rooted in place, digits interlocking with the sheets surrounding her form. If only to brace herself for what she expected would be sharp, bright pain.
  65.
  66. Surprisingly, however, that was not the case.
  67.
  68. "You surprise me."
  69.
  70. Was she wrong to expect him to be rough?
  71. To treat the wounds without the delicate touch required of a medical professional?
  72.
  73. Given all of their adventuring prior, she had every reason to suspect such. His otherwise more aggressive inclinations, but perhaps there was a soft side to him yet.
  74.
  75. "Lax will work, I think."
  76.
  77. It was rather complicated to deal with such internal injuries otherwise. Whilst a massage could do, it would not be all that effective in pain diminishment long-term.
  78.
  79. "Thank you."
  80.
  81. The lax raised to her lips, before sipped upon gently. A relief washing over her form, as the aching subsided just a little bit.
  82.
  83. Slouching ever so slightly, despite remaining alert. Still prepared in case things took a drastic turn during the makeshift operation.
  84.
  85. "I'll be still."
  86.
  87. Following her words, she didn't dare to move a muscle, even holding her breath for the time being.
  88. (Eisele Metras)
  89.
  90. Watching others and observing how it's done definitely gave him an idea.
  91.
  92. At the very least, he could ensure that there wouldn't be any further pain from such- but whereas she remains still, steadily does he begin to cover the various wounds, in particular the worst ones, with the lax essence.
  93.
  94. All to make sure that her pain would be numbed.
  95.
  96. It is the least that he could do, given the fact that his own knowledge wasn't as extensive yet, and it certainly needed refining. But.. until that happens? He could very well ensure that she wouldn't suffer as much.
  97.
  98. "There, there.."
  99.
  100. While she remarks of surprising her, he only smiles, but dismisses the thought with a small shake of his head.
  101.
  102. "Nah."
  103.
  104. "It ain't difficult to figure that you're supposed to be gentle while doing this. Kinda like... common sense." A pause.
  105.
  106. "Then again, I guess common sense ain't that common."
  107.
  108. From the encounters that he's had, that seems to be the case. But while he'd apply the lax essence all around, there comes the final part to it all..
  109.
  110. One that involves bandages.
  111.
  112. "Now.."
  113.
  114. "Lemme cover up the worst of the injuries."
  115. (Kasimir Dusan)
  116.
  117. The lax was an odd creation, both edible and applicable to wounds. She could only theorize who had created it to begin with, as well as its intended purpose.
  118.
  119. Was it always simply to heal wounds?
  120.
  121. "Hmm."
  122.
  123. His words were heard, and her surprise still remained. While she was aware that he had street smarts, she had no knowledge of him bearing emotional intelligence.
  124.
  125. Though that seemingly made itself clear now.
  126.
  127. "If you say so, but I think many others would be hasty and messy."
  128.
  129. It was why doctors made up a small amount of the population. Not many took the time it required to dedicate themselves to this task.
  130.
  131. To this job.
  132.
  133. "I already don't feel anything anymore. I think you're close to becoming a doctor, wolfie."
  134.
  135. A tease, as she remained still. Not wishing to mess up the bandaging process. While she had expected the disinfecting to hurt, he had done so without much issue.
  136.
  137. Now all that remained was patching it up properly, to which she could only hope he knew what he was doing.
  138. (Eisele Metras)
  139.
  140. This was good.
  141.
  142. The fact that she didn't really feel any pain from this would mean that she's recovering well from the injury- but at the end, it would be most important to ensure that the wounds are covered properly, otherwise..
  143.
  144. An infection could potentially occur, or the healing could go wrong. Neither is acceptable.
  145.
  146. "Mhm.. hold still for a bit."
  147.
  148. There, the bandages are carefully wrapped up around the worst of the wounds, if only to be carefully secured in a gentle, albeit reliable wrap- one to ensure that it would hold up, rather than simply fall off.
  149.
  150. Enough to ensure that it stays covered.
  151.
  152. A relatively simple process, comparing to the rest. While he quietly hums, inspecting his work, eventually he looks up at her, soon to remark.
  153.
  154. "There you go."
  155.
  156. "It should be fine. You ain't feeling any worse from it, yeah?" Hopefully not..
  157.
  158. "If it's all good, then we're done."
  159. (Kasimir Dusan)
  160.
  161. "Of course."
  162.
  163. As instructed, she remained absolutely still. Not allowing herself to move even the slightest amount, as it could risk the entire process...
  164.
  165. Probably not that severe, but she couldn't take any risks, could she?
  166.
  167. Wincing as the bandages were applied, though only due to the pressure of the material against her wounds. It soon subsided, giving way to relief.
  168.
  169. While there would be lingering aches later, it would heal much quicker through these methods.
  170.
  171. "Thank you."
  172.
  173. With that, her legs swung back around the bed, before gently pushing herself to a stand. Light blues fluttering in the direction of Kasimir, before smiling.
  174.
  175. "I guess we are even now, right?"
  176.
  177. A cheeky grin, though she couldn't help but speak of what occurred prior either.
  178.
  179. "I bet you didn't expect me to charge headfirst into that monster either! Hmph."
  180.
  181. Arms folding over one another, as a huff was released through nostrils.
  182.
  183. "After we just got done talking about... what the other will do, or me not being right for your path. I have courage, right? I can tussle with the best of them."
  184.
  185. "I promise you that."
  186.
  187. His confidence had rubbed off on her.
  188. (Eisele Metras)
  189.
  190. She would recover. Good.
  191.
  192. When she takes a stand, he watches over her- as if to see whether she would struggle with this or not. Seeing that she wasn't struggling was a relieving sight.. but nonetheless, other words were meant to follow.
  193.
  194. "Yep."
  195.
  196. "We're even now."
  197.
  198. But surely, in the future, they would end up treating each other even more, no? At least, the lifestyle that he envisioned would imply exactly that.
  199.
  200. "And nah.. I actually didn't expect you to charge in head first."
  201.
  202. "That was kinda brave of you. Braver than I expected." Maybe his confidence did rub off on her.. and maybe it did so to a much greater degree that he expected.
  203.
  204. Should he be worried?
  205. Probably not...
  206.
  207. "I know that you got courage."
  208.
  209. "You just make sure that you ain't gonna lose it, alright?" A pause, soon to which he'd add.
  210.
  211. "Now come on."
  212.
  213. "Let's head out."
  214. (Kasimir Dusan)
