Part 1
- Cath wakes up and meets Clair. They have a brief but harsh exchange before Lance comes in. He informs her of where she is (Lance's family's home [hidden away, Clair as lookout.]) He also informs her that Loki's secret is definitely out, but also that he wants her to hopefully move forward and take on the 8th and final badge of Johto. He tells her that Red explicity wants to do what Palmer already intends to, which is have girl trainers become a thing. Red's policy is imminent, and will happen in the summertime (six months.) While they originally had some hesitation about pursuing it, since they now officially know that Loki is a female (even if the public doesn't officially know it's Catherine) they want to use her as a figurehead of sorts as a weird sort of political maneuver where, since Loki has all eight badges and is Reliable and most likely assured (compared to hoping someone else comes along in the next six months) she'll make her debut at the league. The reason this isn't stupid for Catherine is because Lance assures her that she'll still be able to leave for Sinnoh and do what she wishes there, and she knows that it's actually viable. It helps that Sinnoh's program isn't ready to start for a bit either. They discuss a bit of logistics, how she'd have to grind up in time for the summer (or March? since JP graduations are typically in spring but summer is Cath's Thing) and how it'd be best for her to do it in Kanto. Maybe she already discusses how in exchange she'd like to talk to her brother before the official League Battle itself. Lance leaves to attend to more issues that have occurred since Lake of Rage, and give her time to think on it but apologizes, since the sooner she can agree, the more likely they can do this. (Under the pretense of "news hasn't reached Blackthorne yet about Loki, and thus has no reason to do something amiss at the gym match.")
- Palmer arrives, holding her belongings, including the Gyarados' Pokeball. Is it an idiot ball if she doesn't want to ask how weird he acted during the Lake of Rage incident if it's mostly subtle hints? Because she confronts him in Kanto otherwise. Anyway, they talk about it since Catherine doesn't want to agree to anything that might in fact end up sabotaging her agreement with Palmer. Palmer still establishes that this is all on her, though, and how she doesn't necessarily need to take it. Catherine knows that. He gives her Godfrey and Gavin and Dawn's number, and maybe they discuss how it might not be smartest for her to be alone while she travels, and maybe he "spoils" things about how she may not necessarily have to be. Lance comes back and she agrees after bartering to meet Red but also give immunity to anyone they find involved with her illegal nannigans, and he goes to set things up with the gym leader. She wishes she could talk to Blaise or Silver or Morty.

Part 2
- She intimidates Clair? It's more of a darling scene than anything, since Catherine doesn't really show off her prowess outside of scrappy gym matches. It's not the nicest Cath, but she's a scary one, hm.
- Cath fights Draco
- Now that it's night time, Palmer helps sneak her down to New Bark, since she'll enter Kanto through Tohjo Falls.

Other potential darling scenes and other things
- I want some potential mention of how Cath Lance and Palmer get together to work out more of the logistics of sending her to Kanto? Not necessarily everything we have to see, but some sort of mention.
- I reaaaaaally want Morty to gate crash, just so Cath has a chance to talk to him one last time instead of at the literal end of Kanto. Give Cath and Morty their closure (at maybe the cost of giving her less reason to stress during Kanto? but there's still plenty of things for her to lose her shit over) and honestly it'd show some nice agency on Morty's part, since he knows exactly what happened as soon as he heard that Loki was taken into custody by Lance.
- It woudln't be hard to give purpose to the clair thing, esp bc she does have depth that wouldn't be too hard to reveal. She wants to be a trainer, she's one of the big reason Lance ever got on Red's side even if she mayyy not necessarily know that, she has valid doubts about Catherine given that she did some pretty freaky things re: regenerating from bad wounds. but still she's also a big bitch too, so,,
