  1. Finn, also known as Theisnar, was born to the Sengisarionostheloniaris dragon clan, patronized by the green dragon Senthisnarrilfar. As a child he was known as Ye Ponderous as a put-down for his slow and questioning ways, though he would perform as well as most others in his clan when it came to conflict. While training in combat he became the subordinate to Aishatarn, a rare female combatant and commander in Sengisarionostheloniaris clan. Finn was entranced by her presence and physical strength, and would seek her council in personal matters. Aishatarn would teach him of her contact with gods, and her private devotion and dependence on them, a rare occurrence among the dragonborn who were in contact and under the patronage of the mighty dragons.
  2. Aishatarn met her end in combat against a red clan, whose greater numbers overwhelmed them. She was singled out among the Sengisarionosthelioniaris commanders for being a woman, and was then tied to a stake to be burned alive by the cumulative flames of the red warriors. Before she could meet her end, though, she bequeathed her soul to the deities she worshipped, leaving only her physical body behind to be destroyed. After her death, he was brought back to his clan after a prisoner exchange. His life without his commander and spiritual liege felt immediately empty, and he was aimless for months.
  3. As he meditated upon her death, he came to think more about the lessons she had taught him, he realized there was more to the physical realm. He left the lands of the dragonborn, venturing south, seeking refuge and education in a monastery, finding guidance in the following of both Baralu and Cretis, against other monks' guidance. He came to the city to further seek enrichment of his own life and to better that of others.
