            The great CringeAnarchy debacle of 2019. Made for r/antifastonetoss.
Whatever happens, you can be sure the alt-right trolls are going rewrite history to fit their narrative. Suddenly they'll have been banned because "the admins wanted to find any reason" or whatever. As antifascists, we can't let them do this unchallenged.
What is happening
It started with this PM to the mods: http://archive.is/ubwza. Their community was quarantined back in September 2018 and they had a final 24 hours to clean up or be banned. The excuse that "you never told me what I needed to do" is just that, an excuse. It's not that hard to comply with the Reddit ToS. If your sub is always active and there's a ton of work to do, hire new mods. The truth is CringeAnarchy is devoted to racist, anti-LGBT, anti-Semite, white supremacist and in general hateful speech. Complying with the rules would destroy CringeA's reason for existing.
In response, another mod made an open letter to the admins promising to clean up their sub: http://archive.is/rR6wP.
Since nothing has been done and it's gone even worse, the admins sent back a reply four hours ago: http://archive.is/DTbdH. I encourage you to read the comments in both threads, it's very telling that a post made by a mod doesn't remove the kind of comments that is contributing to their ban.
Most telling is this part:

Your subreddit has cultivated a culture of violence. This has led to extreme extreme threats of violence against the Reddit HQ, individual admins and mods and predictions of future violence.

We're talking about threats towards specific mods and admins. Why are the admins giving them an extra 36 hours when they have been threatened with violence? Death threats are investigated by the police and for good reason, because there have been enough times that they were more than just a joke and an actual threat.
Also, this is the front page of CringeA at this moment: http://archive.fo/Osg8g. White supremacy, transphobic shit (the archiver didn't fetch the pic unfortunately), harassing the new mods. Lovely. And nothing is being done either by the mods. They don't care about any of this, this is their bread and butter. If they started removing this shit, they'd lose their sub anyway.
Conclusion
So there you have it. CringeA will be banned because it doesn't care about abiding by the rules. Don't let the alt-righters tell you otherwise, they've actively sabotaged their own sub (as seen from the front page) so they can cry about their free speech later.
