  3. Part I Blood Moon

  5. I awoke one evening to a tall, human silhouette flashing on my wall. Thunder crashed loudly, startling me. I looked outside of the window, heart racing, only to find not a figure, but instead, the whole hillside was a crimson shade, casting down this demonic shade was the moon, in a blood-red hue. I almost fell to the floor out of intense shock, after all, I was only six. I would have hit the floor, but I ran into my bed first. I got back into a stable stance, rubbed my eyes, and jumped again because of the continuing thunder. Another flash of lightning, and as it cleared, I saw the hillside was normal again, the moon no more red than my carpet, which was a forest green. I knew I saw something though, I swear I did...

  11. It was three years after that night, the Crimson Eclipse as I had called it later on. I was excited today, because my close friend that I had met a little after that night, Koinichi, was going to meet me at the park playground. I held her dearly as she was the only real friend I had. We played on the swings, jungle gym and the rest of the playground, "You know, Satsuriku, I'm really glad I met you, and just so you know, I'm an expert at not being 'It'" "I'm gonna catch you, Koinichi, I swear I will!" I shouted back with a playful tone. There was a large open field, and this is where we played Tag. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a minivan going abnormally fast. "Idiot." I mumbled as I continued to chase her. She began to slow down, a sign of tiredness, and I slowly caught up to her. She was almost within my grasp as I noticed something that drew my attention. The same minivan was careening out of control! I could only scream wildy as it slid toward my friend. I couldn't look away as scared as I was. All I remember seeing is a spray of blood, as Koinichi's mangled body flew lifelessly onto the ground. I ran to her, crying for the loss of my only friend. The amount of blood that was there reminded me of the Crimson Eclipse. Scarlet plagued the ground, and soon, my body, for I had been embracing what was left of her.
