Earthquake- North Promenade

Covet: -Cadence was in the cheer gym  working on squats  and doing all of her toning exercises before practice was going to be starting up. Easing herself down to the floor with her feet apart and her hands out. She had some music blasting over the boom box set up in one of the corners.-

Tsaaq: She stepped out one of the stalls and went to the mirror to put her hair into a high ponytail with her face scrunched up a bit. Hayley stepped out of the girl’s bathroom near the cheer gym, holding onto her backpack by one strap. She strode down the hallway with her cellphone in her hand, ignoring the influx of people coming in the other direction in front of her.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam stepped out of his classroom, his backpack looped over his shoulders with a textbook pressed to his chest. Weaving around groups of people, he made his way down the hallway, feeling his phone vibrating in his pocket. He pulled it from his pocket to see Gabe's name across the screen, smiling and bringing it up to his ear. "Hey bro." He turned to look down one hallway before making his way through the cafeteria area, listening to his brother's voice as he recounted his shift at the restaurant. "Really? You should make me some next time I'm home." He pushed a chair out of his way and moved through the space, letting out a laugh. "Oh gross. Really? Come on you didn't do that. I don't believe you." He began wandering aimlessly as he listened to Gabe, absent mindedly wandering down the hallway of the administration and the gyms.-
Covet: -Cadence stood up and made her way over to the desk doing lunges as she went to check the time on her phone. She saw Steph's text message and shook her head, laughing at the pun then giving out a heavy sigh.- Okay that explains why she's not here, where the heck is Hayley at?
Tsaaq: Her eyes went to the corner of her phone screen and she groaned a bit. "Shit!" She ran across the hall toward the cheer gym and spotted Adam down the hall. "Abs!" Hayley shouted with a wave before pushing the door open and running inside. "Sorry sorry sorry. I was in the bathroom." She said to Cadence, tossing her backpack on the floor and running to the matts.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing his name, he lifted his eyes to smile to Hayley down the hall, waving back at her. "Yeah, that's really good. Hey listen, I'll call you back later. Tell them I love them." He pulled his phone from his ear and ended the call, shoving it down into his pocket and following toward the door Hayley had disappeared off into. When he stepped inside, he glanced around, taking in the cheer gym. "Oh... are ya'll practicing? Am I interrupting?"-
Covet: -Cadence looked up and saw Hayley- No biggie, I was starting to get a little concerned but you're here now. And Steph's going to be late. She messaged me earlier. -she watched at Adam came in- Yes on the practice but no on the interrupting, feel free to come in and watch if you'd like. -she got up from the desk and made her way over to the mats. She sat down and started stretching in a v-sit to the left. The lights started to flicker and she  looked around confused as she felt the trembling growing- Um....Guys? Is this really what I think this is?
Tsaaq: She respired with relief before going to sit on the mat and stretching her legs wide. “Yeah it’s cheer practice.” Hayley answered as well while contorting her body. She groaned a little and stood up to walk over to the Cadence’s desk. “He can stay? Yay!” She cheered before the ground vibrate under her feet. "What in holy the balls of fuck?" Hayley said in a bit of a panic. Her eyes went wide as she looked to Cadence. “I DON’T KNOW!” She shouted because she’s from New Jersey.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam's eyes jumped up to the ceiling, glancing around him when the rumbling caught him off guard. "Get down. Everyone get under the table!" He shouted, waving them over to gesture underneath the desk at the front of the gym. "Quickly, c'mon."-
Covet: -Cadence got up and scurried back over to the table and scooted over to give everyone enough spaceunderneath it. She watched a few of the ceiling tiles fall to the ground, for the most part the building stayed sturdy, but you could see the ground almost waving. Her heart was racing as she curled up and put her hands over her head-
Tsaaq: She dropped down and crawled on her belly quickly going under the desk. "Shit shit shit." Hayley said as she tried to clutch onto Adam. "I'm gonna die!" She brought her knees to her chest as she looked around, yelping a bit when parts of the ceiling would drop onto the floor. "At least I'll leave a beautiful corpse." Hayley whispered under her breath and closed her eyes tight.
Alexithymiaa: -He moved under the table with the two girls, not quite fitting completely underneath, but making sure his head was covered by the sturdy surface. He wrapped his arm around Hayley's back, trying to keep his own panicked voice steady. "It's okay. It's just an earthquake. It'll be over soon. Just stay under the table." His eyes looked to Cadence and then Hayley, moving his arms to cover her head when he noticed she wasn't fucking doing it herself like a normal god damned person would.-

Covet: -Cadence winced as she heard things crashing around her, looking over at Hayley, biting her tongue so she wouldn't say something rude.- The school should be pretty safe for these kind of things, they're supposed to be anyway. -she screamed a bit as another tile fell landing on the table above them.-
Tsaaq: She glanced at Adam brought her hands to cover her head now. "Okay, okay that doesn't sound that bad." She whispered then heard Cadence, nodding her head. "AHHHHHHHH!" Hayley shouted when hearing the tile collide with their table. "This SUCKS." She hissed instead of all the screaming she actually wanted to do.
Alexithymiaa: -He felt the crumbled tile hitting his lower back since that's what was sticking out from underneath the tablem wincing sharply while trying to keep his cool for the girls. He turned his head to look across the gym, staring at the floor. "It should be almost over I think."-
Covet: Are you sure? What about aftershocks? those things happen too right? -she asked him, not opening her eyes until she felt everything calm down.- I think you're right, though, it feel like it's done...-she paused and looked around before sliding out from under the desk-
Tsaaq: She shut her eyes tight while frowning, only opening them when Adam mentioned it being over. She took her hands from her head and looked throughout the gym. "Okay well I'm just gonna sit here for a little bit." Hayley whispered and remained in her spot under the desk.
Alexithymiaa: -He reached his hand out toward Cadence when she left the safety of the table, shaking his head. "Wait. You should wait and make sure." He dropped his eyes to Hayley, swinging his arm back around her shoulders to reassuringly rub her arm. "Hey, you're okay, right? Nothing hit you?"-

Covet: -Cadence looked at Adam and stayed sitting on the floor underneath the desk, waiting. She looked over at Adam- Are you okay? -she asked with a heavy sigh before reaching up on the desk to feel for her phone, seeing it beneath some of the drywall dust and ceiling tile sending off a text to Remy before she hit her brother's contact number, pressing the phone to her ear.-
Tsaaq: “Yeah I’m fine I guess.” She answered Adam as she looked down at her arms and legs. “Everything looks okay.” Hayley murmured then looked up at him. “I’m just staying under here, just to make sure. I’m not scared or anything.”
Alexithymiaa: -He nodded. "I'm okay." He eased himself out from underneatht he table, pushing up to his feet. "I wonder if the rest of the school is okay. What if people need help?" His voice was worried, moving quickly to the doors to peer out throught he windows. He saw ceiling tiles down throughout the hallway, panic settling over him. "Someone might be hurt. Ya'll should stay in here until the fire department gets here." He shoved the door open and stepped out into the hallway, his eyes focused intently ahead of him as he carefully stepped over the debris to make his way through the school.-
Covet: -Cadence didn't get an answer on the other end and hit the redial button pulling the phone up to her ear again- C'mon Ty....answer....don't ignore me this time..-she bit her lip then looked over at Hayley as the call went to voicemail again.- God dammit....-she looked up to see Adam gone, furrowing her brow.- Where the hell did he go?
Tsaaq: She slid from under the desk when he started talking about checking to see if anybody else in the building was alright. "Adam wait!" She called out and stood to her feet. She didn't bother going after him. "He said that he needed to make sure everything is okay in the rest of the building." Hayley answered Cadence. "He said to stay here until the fire department came." She muttered and pulled out her cellphone. "SHIT! I have to make sure Pumpkin is okay... And Tony, who else? Remy I guess." Hayley shrugged.
Covet: Remy's fine -she said looking at her phone, I told him you were safe. You should make sure Tony's okay. -she nodded trying to dial her brother's number again but still not getting an answer- Sonovabitch.
Tsaaq: "Oh okay, thank you-" Hayley said to Cadence then texted like the wind. "Tony isn't answering me! Shit." She started to pout. "Damn it Adam, I don't want to just sit here and wait. I have to get out of here and get to a computer or something so I can post about this."
Covet: We can see if the other doors are opened. We're not hurt or anything. I told Remy I'd meet him back at my place. Do you want me to drop you off somewhere? -she asked her as she closed out her messages, looking up at her.-
Tsaaq: Hayley jogged over to her. "Thank you! Do you know where Tony lives? No wait. Take me to talon, please. I'll ride my bike to his place." She said quickly and went towards the door to push it open, looking up and down the hallway covered in debris. "Jesus, does this mean we'll miss school?"
Covet: To Talon it is... -Cadence said making her way out the back door to the parkinglot seeing her vehichle slightly skewed.-  Jesus, I really hope the damage at my house isn't this bad. -she said making her way over to her her hummer and got in, waiting for Hayley before taking off towards Talon. -
Tsaaq: "I hope all your stuff is alright too. I do." Hayley said as she followed behind Cadence, getting into her hummer. "Okay but seriously will we miss school?" She asked again and buckled her seatbelt before they headed to talon hall.
