1.
Alright, I got this idea after someone told me I should write a short story about the chatlog that was posted here: http://alteriw.net/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=54516. Now I want to let you guys know that this is purely fictional, based on the chatlog only. It also doesn't mean I agree or disagree with anything that was said in it. On a side note, I am not a story writer. If there is improper grammar with the dialect, I'm sorry. I am not used to this style of writing, and I tried my best.
2.
3. But anyways, here it is. Be warned, it is 2000 words, roughly 4 1/2 pages in MSWord. If you tl;dr, that's your fault. Don't post if you don't read.
4.
5.
It was a quiet afternoon in the local school, the hallways filled with youngsters waiting to fill their brains with knowledge they knew they would never have a use for. However, the day was about to change for two individuals. They were both from opposing cults, the result of living in a broken town. NTAuthority was walking quietly away from his locker, aware of the stares from his enemies. The school might have tried to keep itself away from the worse parts of the town, but the town inevitably forced itself into the school. Some students might still be questioning how it happened, but the majority knew the reason for the degrading status, Insignia.
6.
7. Insignia was born in a broken home, coming from a broken family, in a town that was lower than broken. His mother left when he was five and his dad was a pimp that employed girls as young as 11, mostly from the same school his son went to. In fact, Insignia often helped to prostitute the girls out. He was a perfect recruit for the Admins, the cult that claimed they would be the rulers of the town, except for the opposition of the Contributors. This was the opposing cult that NTAuthority founded, in the vain attempt to bring peace back to the town that had forgotten the meaning of the word. But Insignia was still doing everything he could to get rid of his entire cult, and today would go over the edge, in plain view of everyone.
8.
9. Either it was a bad day for Insignia, or he had timed it correctly, but NTAuthority was alone on his own, and was easily no match when Insignia came over and pushed him into a locker. “Stop it!” yelled NTAuthority, quite aware of the situation that may arise from this confronting. “It was you asshole, fuck off” was Insignia’s reply, loudly enough for the majority of the crowd to hear. There was already a semi-circle forming around the two. A cult war in the middle of the school halls was nothing new, but when it was between two of the highest ranked in the town, everyone was interested.
10.
11. “MaxDamage was right, you’re still some annoying brat” sneered Insignia, waiting for NTAuthority to attack back. MaxDamage was the old leader of the Admins, but suspiciously disappeared right before Insignia took over. He was the one responsible for the crime and hatred that had spread over the city like a blanket, so not many people questioned where he went. Truthfully, in the back of everyone’s mind, Insignia was a god for what he did to him, even if they didn’t talk about it out loud.
12.
13. “Seriously man, just stop it.” said NTAuthority.
14. “Or what, you’ll murder me? Like you’ve always dreamed of?” A grin had started to appear on Insignia’s face, as he was quickly taking over the conversation. “Oh wait, yeah I have to make room for your coffin”. NTAuthority could see the danger of the conversation, could taste the poison lased in every word that Insignia was spitting out.
15. “Why do you have to whine to me Insignia, don’t you have someone else to go bitch at” questioned NTAuthority. The shock of the remark was clearly seen in Insignia’s eyes, and NTAuthority knew the remark would cost more than he imagined.
16.
17. “Now I get why your mom is dead. If she was alive, she’d realize you’re just a suck up and she’d probably kill herself out of shame” laughed Insignia, as the crowd chuckled along, clearly excited for the break in the monotonous schedule of schoolwork. All NTAuthority could muster was a half sigh, barely audible over the loud taunting that Insignia was still spitting out. “You nitpick over every little whiney issue and repeat it tons of times like you’re a prophet. Good game if that’s what you’re going to do for the rest of your life, you little twerp.” Insignia shouted, even though NTAuthority was physically bigger than Insignia, he was just shy and non-violent. But that wasn’t going to help him in this situation.
18.
19. “Just because I want to do something with my life, like be a coder, but can’t do so with my outstanding issues, doesn’t mean you have to be an ass about it. Just stop it, seriously”
20. “Or what? Tell me, WHAT ELSE?!” Insignia screamed in reply.
21. “I’m just asking nicely man, and when did I nitpick?”
22. “Ohhh boy, that sounds like a small threat there boy!”
23. “Asking nicely is a small threat? NTAuthority asked, in genuine confusion. Was Insignia really as stupid as everyone believed he was?
24. “Asking nicely implies the next time won’t be nicely, and I don’t like it when people decide to make threats to me”, Insignia replied, clearly getting ready to destroy the poor boy that didn’t have any backup. It seemed that the entire school was on Insignia’s side right now.
25.
26. “Seriously, I have ENOUGH of this when I’m at home, school is just a way for me to escape that, not come and deal with your shit!” NTAuthority retorted.
27. “Then stay away from me, like you said you would. Leave the school to me, and just get the fuck out.”
28. “I would if you stopped doing what you’re doing to everyone.”
29. NTAuthority sighed, wondering why Insignia had picked today to annoy him. He had a hard night, dealing with schoolwork and the random kids belting insults at him through his window. If only he could escape, to clear his mind and start over. All he wanted to do was get on with his life, and this broken town that he was stuck in was dragging him down. Every day he wondered if he would even wake up the next day, and some days he just wished he wouldn’t.
30.
31. “Aww, I should leave. My opinions aren’t valued. Waaaa waaa. I get labeled as distrusting. Cry cry. If I don’t agree with society, people pick on me. Poor you.” Insignia mocked, showing off his true immaturity. “You’re 17 years old, yet you act like a 12 year old, whining over everything that happens around here.”
32. “How” asked NTAuthority.
33. “Everyday you keep repeating what you whine about the other day. Oh it’ll never work! Oh my parents don’t listen! Oh I want to leave this town! Everyday you bitch about the same thing, but nobody gives a fuck bro.” Insignia spat, starting to walk away thinking the conversation was over.
34. “Nope, nope, and nope” NTAuthority fought back, trying to damage the bulletproof armor that Insignia seemed to be wearing. “What are you trying to achieve by being an asshole to me?”
35. “I’m sick of hearing your bitching about your issues all the time. It’s your issues, not ours! Just fucking get the hell out of here and never come back!” Insignia screamed, clearly losing control now.
36.
37. After a short breather by NTAuthority, who was wondering when a knife was going to get pulled, he retorted, “Maybe I’m sick of hearing all of your shit too, Insignia? Oh, and what about all the people that are supportive to me? Or were all of them just ‘lies’, as you always say?”
38. “You can’t even talk about social stuff with everyone, you shy little pussy!” Insignia yelled, reaching for something in his back pocket, but holding back for the moment.
39. NTAuthority laughed, “Can’t you think of anything I don’t know?”
40. “Nope, as you seemed to have finally figured out that you’re just not meant to be living in this world. If there is a god, then he must have made mistakes too, you condom-break.” Insignia said, as the crowd around them laughed in approval of the low blow.
41.
42. NTAuthority was trying to figure out how he was supposed to know that Insignia was going to rage at him today when Insignia started up again on him.
43. “Why in hells name would you even come back here, it’s not like you even like me or anyone else here anymore. You just don’t belong here, fuck off.”
44. “It’s hard to fuck off when I’m stuck in the same town as you. The same town that is keeping me away from doing what I want to, which is an issue I’ve stated around here many times before.” NTAuthority replied calmly, aware that he was actually starting to take control of the conversation.
45.
46. “AWWWW, shit happens and now I can’t do what I want to do, because I’ll think about it too long! Cry cry cry!” Insignia taunted, laughing at NTAuthority. Oddly enough, NTAuthority was laughing as well.
47. “I love how every couple days you go raging at me for something as small as this” NTAuthority laughed, clearly amused at the antics of Insignia.
48. “I’ve known people in the same position as you, and even though every case is different, they at least tried to make the best of it. They didn’t go cry over every single issue they had, they just sucked it up.”
49. “How am I crying over every single issue? You’re the one that started raging at me!” NTAuthority yelled, taking control over the conversation, hoping that it would be over. The school bell had already rang, but the school staff knew they couldn’t do anything when two cult leaders were butting heads. They had learned to stay away, and let the police handle it if it got too violent.
50.
51. “You’re the pure form of art, of a weakling that has given up.” Insignia spat, trying to gain the control that was quickly slipping away.
52. “Nope?”
53. “Yeah, you are. You make assumptions about your life that you have no know-how over. OH my future will be shit, blah blah cry cry blah blah.”
54. “Nope, not even that. I wonder why you haven’t started physically attacking me yet. You have what you want, a nice big crowd around to watch you.” NTAuthority replied, still as calm as he was before. Wondering why NTAuthority wasn’t raging, Insignia replied, “I wonder why you haven’t gone all Deathmax-Style yet. Maybe I should just finish you and be done with it right now?”
55. “Oh good, do it Insignia.” NTAuthority taunted, clearly unsettled at the look in Insignia’s eye.
56. “Oh, then you might finally have fucked off for good. As in we’ll never see you back here again. That would be so nice. Hell, even the random fucktards around this school are better than you.”
57. “At least I wouldn’t have to deal with you again, like I’ve hoped for every day.” NTAuthority replied, trying to keep his cool. “You’re trying so hard to make me upset, and sadly it’s not effective.”
58. “If you didn’t want to deal with me, you could’ve just left.” Insignia laughed. “It’s not like you’re very useful around here either, it seems that auREAX is as smart as you.”
59. “More of the obvious, Insignia?” NTAuthority asked, wondering when this was going to end.
60.
61. NTAuthority started walking away, hoping to get out of this school and finally breathe, but Insignia screamed, “You can’t do anything! You should just fuck off and never come back, you useless faggot! You’re not welcome anywhere around here!”
62. “I wonder why you keep trying to tell me the obvious.” NTAuthority questioned back, continuing to walk away. As he reached the door, he pushed it open and ran out. The feeling of being away from what could’ve been something deadly was refreshing. As he walked home, he saw a homeless man without clothes following him. “It must be jerbob” he thought, the same hobo that had followed him home last night. But that’s what you get in this broken town.
