Information we have about Spear of Destiny aka Holy Lance that was found in Beaumont-En-Verdunois in France on June 2016.

Note that in June 2016, when one of us (ARG players on 4chan/x/); /ourguy/ was visiting Beaumont-En-Verdunois in France, he also didnt find jack shit.
Then, like day or two later, out of nowhere that "Spanish Fag" or "Spaniard, Spanish Anon" appeared saying that he found spear, old letter and a map/QR code. He never posted single picture from location though, only pictures of his finds.

Photos of spear, that Spanish Fag posted, (according to him found in Beaumont-En-Verdunois, Lorraine, France) in June 2016, are same spear as in Z 3301 video, and same photos than on K_B_I twitter in this video.

It all started in Jany 2015 with people posting (on 4chan/x/) posters with QR code and cicada logo, from all around the world:

pi.mobi creators (PuppetMasters) claimed they were Cicada 3301 but never produced any verifiable PGP signature. They had bunch of excuses for lack of it.
Story included, 10+ posters with QR code found around the globe, 4chan /x/ paranormal board posts, Bitmessage messages, youtube videos, Centurion (Roman soldier that killed Jesus with Spear of Destiny), Giordano Bruno, Pyramid of Capitalist System, William Blake, French revolution, Chapel oak of Allouville Bellefosse, Tower of Galata, Constantinople...

Here is how some clues went together:

There were debates on facebook that letter might be written by Baron von Hügel who had Vienna lance in his possession during french revolution, later he sold it to Habsburgs. He is mentioned in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Lance, but doesnt have his own page.

Quite a coincidence that friend of some french guy who was on /x/ in june 2016 found that comment and replied that fast.

Some data about actual Holy Lance Spears of Destiny

There are many stories. Sources are not united on anything. There are many spears who claim to original Spear of destiny. Some of them were lost or damaged during history.
There have been three or four major relics that are claimed to be the Holy Lance or parts of it.

Its supposed to be the Lance used to kill Jesus:

First mention of relic appears to be from 6th century AD though.

Here is a brief history of the spear. One of the earliest mentions of a relic preserved as the Holy Lance is in the account of the pilgrim Antoninus of Piacenza, about 570, who described the holy places of Jerusalem, where he saw in the basilica of Mount Zion "the crown of thorns with which Our Lord was crowned and the lance with which he was struck in the side".

According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the presence in Jerusalem of this relic is attested half a century earlier by Cassiodorus and was known to Gregory of Tours.

In 615 Jerusalem was captured for the Persian King Khosrau II; according to the Chronicon Paschale, the iron point of the lance, which had been broken off, was given in the same year to Nicetas, who took it to Constantinople and deposited it in the church of Hagia Sophia.

This lance-point, embedded in an icon, was obtained in 1244 from the Latin emperor at Constantinople, Baldwin II, by Louis IX of France, who enshrined it with his relic of the Crown of Thorns in the Sainte Chapelle, Paris. During the French Revolution these relics were removed to the Bibliotheque Nationale and then disappeared.

I did some digging on spear of destiny.

There are few spears claiming to be Holy lance. Vatican lance, Echmiadzin lance, Vienna lance (Hofburg spear) and Antioch spear.
One found in Antioch might be the one that is called Vienna lance today.
One in Krakow is copy of Vienna one made in 1000AD

Sources about origin and path of each one are not entirely consistent. Some of them passed through Constantinople. Some of them were in Paris. But none of sources I found claim that any was lost in France in 1796 like some claimed in previous thread). The Vienna one was in 1796 moved from Nuremberg to Vienna for safekeeping, because of approaching of French Revolutionary army. And the tip of Vatican/Rome that was broken in 7th century was in possession of Louis the IX of France in the 13th Century. That tip was lost in the late 1700s during the upheaval of the French Revolution.

Vienna one is supposed to be the lance of Saint Maurice. But Maurice lived in 3rd century AD, while Vienna lance was tested in 2003 and it is from 7th century AD. (However,an iron pin – long claimed to be a nail from the crucifixion, hammered into the blade and set off by tiny brass crosses – is "consistent" in length and shape with a 1st-century A.D. Roman nail.)

I cant read anything form that picture of the letter.
Only mention of 1796 year I can find is from this post, http://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/17828683/#17836835, but this doesnt appear to be true, according to my previous research, in 1796 one of many spears (Vienna one) was moved from Nuremberg to Vienna because they were afraid of approaching French Revolutionary army.

P.S. (but after doing more research I found out maybe Imperial treasure (or Reichskleinodien) didnt reach Vienna until 1800, and was in Regensburg in meantime, where parts of it were lost.)

And about Von Hugel.
That Archéologie Locale en Lorraine page says letter was from Mr Von Huge (no L at the end).
And Googling Von Hugel gives few interesting persons.
Only Johann Aloys Josef von Hügel, http://bit.ly/29eOMUX diplomat born in Vienna, was being alive at 1796. He seems to be the keeper of The imperial regalia (also: Reichsinsignien or Imperial Treasury) which includes mentioned Vienna Holly Lance.
In wikipedia article about Holy Lance https://goo.gl/DjpY1B we can see that he ("Baron von Hügel") was entrusted with Reichskleinodien in 1769.
This article https://goo.gl/iydlPF mentions that part of Imperial Tresure was moved form Nuremberg to St. Emmeram Castle in Regensburg in 1796 in two parts in July and September. During this move and stay in Regensurg some parts were lost. Imperial Treasure was then transported to Vienna later in 1800. Later Hugel sold Treasure to Habsbourgs and it is possible that he solde them different lance. Lance was then not returned to Nuremberg until 2WW.
