- Aries was by himself right now. he was under the guidance of other wolves that were looking over him. Thanks to some somewhat mean advice from his brother, the wolves watched over, as he was putting small punch and after punch into the dummy in front of him. The wolves mainly looked over him if it meant he was going to become too exhausted. He knew that he needed to keep on working, to make sure his so-called brother was wrong about him.
- Well, from that day forth, there was improvement, small as it was. If this was the true was this would was going to work, he would have no choice but to give everything he had. Aggressiveness went through him as he jumped up, near to it's face, and punch it with his force. It was more of a push if anything, but the dummy would fall over. He would go back, and sit on the bench again.
- Though, as soon as he did, he didn't want to stop training. But boy, was he tired! He needed some time to sit down!
- (Aries Hayes)
- Roaring out a yawn as Kilanjo had stood up from his bed. Ooh man it was good to sleep in for once.
- Stretching his arms out wide as he brought them high into the sky before dropping them down to his sides. He felt quite satisfied. For once he actually got to relax.
- But his satisfaction wouldn't last long until he saw Krosious out in the living room. That was when he knew that there has to be some news to give if the old man is in here this late. There has to be no other reason . . . . well, unless he's going to uphold his promise that he gave to Aries. Maybe that was the reason.
- Kilanjo would then dust off his clothes as he approached the two with sleep in his eyes.
- "Yooo! Good morning" he says sleepily
- (Kilanjo)
- Seeing both Aries and Nerian there in the den as he walked out, his heart dropped a bit. A ball of emotion formed in his throat. The upcoming news would shatter them. Perhaps even break them as it had already began to do to Krosious.
- Looking over at Nerian he gave a nod and spoke.
- "Good morning."
- A clearing of his throat followed and soon after he spoke.
- "Come on over here Aries, I have something.. I have something I need to tell you two."
- Standing back up his gaze stayed upon his youngest son. One might be able tell that he had recently cried but it was hard due to how well he was playing it off.
- (Krosious Hayes)
- Aries would at find himself finally look over, first towards his brother. For now, he felt like his brother's advice helped, so he would smile. "Good mornin', bro!" He would say that happily, before looking curiously at his father. "Oh, yes daddy!" (god that sounds terrible...) He would walk over to his father, and look up at him. "What do you need to say, daddy?" His eyes were perked up, and waiting to hear what his dad had to say.
- However, if either Kilanjo or Krosious were to look over at his hands, there were scrapes across them. Kilanjo could probably guess he was training, and maybe the same could go towards Krosious. The wolves that were with him would also walk over, curious as well.
- (Aries Hayes)
- A smile would fall upon his lips as he replied to his younger brother, Aries.
- "Good morning to you too bro."
- He would then watch the lille Ookami walk over to his father and ask what Krosious needed to say. Which made Kilanjo remember his previvous thought. How did he know it? It had to be something important to tell. Thats the only reason why he would be here.
- But instead of being dull and get upset that Krosious only spared time out of his busy day to tell them things instead of hanging out with his own son. Kilanjo kept his smile for the sake of the atmosphere and his younger brother.
- Before he knew it, the wolves would walk over aswell. To which he always had seemed to be interested in. They always followed Aries around, what loyal companions.
- "Yeah, so what do you want to tell us old man?" he questions as he walked up beside Aries and placed a hand softly on his head as he ruffled Aries's hair around as he grinned a bit. He would then lean in to ask Aries a question as to what happened 3 months ago when he disappeared. But as he bent down to ask his brother the question. He saw his brother's damaged hand. To which his smile grew brighter as he knew that his brother must've been putting in some work.
- "Nice job on the training little bro, it's gonna come in handy one day." he whispered into Aries's ear.
- He would then stand up and place both on hands on either side of his waist.
- "Soooo? You gonna tell us or what?"
- (Kilanjo)
- Giving a smile when he saw the exchange between the two brothers. It reminded him of himself and his two brothers. Though that was a long time ago. When he looke down at Aries, Krosious took a step forward and ruffled his hair. A smile was given to his son though when Nerian spoke again and asked what the question was, it drew Krosious' attention back to the point.
- "Right."
- He began and cleared his throat.
- "Boys, what I'm going to tell you might not make sense at first. It might even sound like a joke.. but it's not."
- Krosious paused once more. He had to word it properly and not sound vengeful. He wanted so desperately to find out who had taken Nef from him. To rip that person to shreds and leave absolute no traces of their existence. But he could not let that be heard in the words or in his tone. After a deep inhale Krosious spoke again.
- "I am sorry Aires, Nerian. But.. your mother has passed away."
- At that moment he fell silent and looked between the two. Unsure how they would react but wanting to be there just incase they needed a crutch. Krosious assumed Aries would need this more than Nerian, but he still would be there for the male.
- (Krosious Hayes)
- Aries would take the moment, and just stand there, once he heard what was told to him. It wouldn't matter what Krosious or Nerian would do at this point. He kind of just.. fell a bit limp, and he would just sit there for a moment. At this moment? He couldn't accept this, not in the slightest. As tears were rolling from his eyes, he'd look up at him, thinking of any excuse as to what Krosious really meant.
- "Y-You mean p-passed a test..?" His whole body was shaky, as were his words were getting there as well. "S-She's just-." From there, it was just a shit ton of blubbering, and a lot of nonsense words. Not that this was any offense to that of Krosious, but Nerian's leg was closer. He would wrap his arms around Nerian right leg, and begin crying endlessly into it.
- (Aries Hayes)
- Kilanjo's eyes turned dull as his entire expression died down. His smile remained as if he still thought it was a joke.
- "Your joking. . . r-right? Hahaha. Jokes over Kro. You don't joke with things like that."
- But as he stared into Krosious's eyes. He knew that the elder Ookami wasn't messing around, and thats when Kilanjo's life flashed before his eyes. He felt as if everything was in moving in slow motion. As if his heart stopped. It was strange. Strange indeed.
- "Tell me your lying Krosious. . . please. . . tell me. . ." he struggled to say as his voice shook.
- But after a few moments as he kept on staring at Krosious. Nothing had changed. Causing Kilanjo choke on his breath as he fell to the ground in pain. Falling flat on his knees as his head stared dead forward. His mind not able to comprehend what had just happened.
- "I. . . . I- I. . . . I told her. . . That I wouldn't disappear like fa- . . . father. . . .. . So why did she disappear. . . . on me. . . . why. . . . why. . . when we just reunited. . . why so soon mother. . . . . why. . . . ." He said unmovingly.
- His voice was emotionless as he continued to have a blank stare in his eyes.
- "Who. . . who did this Kro. . . Who killed mother. . . . ."
- (Kilanjo)
- Looking between both of the males before him Krosious could see their disbelief at first. Though as he remained unwavering in his emotion they began to realize it was indeed all true. Looking down at his youngest clasp the leg of Nerian, Krosious had to clear his throat a time or two. Though when Nerian began to speak the Elder Ookami's ears laid against his head.
- "I wish that I could tell you both that this isn't real. But, I cannot. For that I am more sorry than I express in words or actions."
- Kneeling down slightly he hoisted Aries into his arm's. Knowing that he could not do anything to help Nerain stop from falling, Krosious just allowed it. Sure he could have used his Gravity magic but that was not the point. Holding his son close, Krosious looked back at Nerian.
- "Nerian, Aries.. I am so so sorry. I do not know who did this to your mother but I swear that I will not stop searching until I find out who it was. I promise you, she will be avenged."
- Pausing there to try and reasure the crying child in his arm's Krosious then turned toward the bedroom and spoke.
- "She is in our room. You an see her one last time if you want."
- As he finished the Elder cast his gaze upon Nerian once more. He then spoke more directly toward him.
- "I can use my Illusions to sway what you see, Nerain. If you want. I.. I cannot promise you that you will ever unsee her as she is now. But for Aries sake, I will be using my Illusions on him. The choice is your's."
- With that said he took a few steps toward the room. Only assuming that Nerain would follow.
- (Krosious Hayes)
- Still unmoving, his eyes finally began to turn dead inside. As if he had no soul for those who ever dared to stare into his eyes.
- Slowly, he would raise himself up to his feet as his eyes were un-blinking. Without even looking towards Krosious. He said.
- "I. . . . want to see how she looks like. . . . Use illusion on Aries I want him to remember how beautiful our mother is. . . how she always will be. . . . "
- With a clear of his throat and his unmoving eyes. He forced his body to take a step forward.
- "Take us to our mother. . . ."
- (Kilanjo)
- Looking over at Nerian as he rose up to his feet, Krosious' ears twitched to his words.
- "Alright. If that is what you wish. But Nerian.. I have to warn you... It's her head and face."
- There was more he could say but did not want Aries to pick up on them. With that said he continued to the door. Before they entered Krosious was already manipulating his mana to produce Illusions around Aries. Finally upon entrance they would see their mother laying upon the bed. However, their realities were vastly different.
- For Aries, if the boy chose to look, he would see his mother laying there, still as if she were asleep. Her eye's were shut, hands folded over her stomach. Not a scratch on her.
- But..
- For Nerian it was much more real. Her head had been caved in for the most part. To further the gore there was two holes in her head. One at the bottom of her jaw and one at the top of her head. Suggesting a weapon had been plunged into it.
- "Nerian. I vowed to Asena but I will do for you and Aries now. I will not rest until I find out who did this to your mother. I will die of age before I let the person or persons responcible get away with this. But right now I am telling you. Do not pursue whoever did this. Let me handle this. I promise that I will involve you in on dealing with them. But if they were able to take out your mother then they will be able to take you as well."
- Finishing his eye's drifted from Nerian to Nef. He stared at his late mate's face. He was more than upset, but he could not show it infront of his sons. He had to be strong for them. That in mind he held Aries a bit closer.
- (Krosious Hayes)
- Now staring at his passed mother's body, he stared in horror as he realized how badly she was murdered. This wasn't a simple killing. Not, it was man slaughter. Her face itself was barely recognizable as it was beaten in with two cuts alongside it. One across her neck and the dead in the center where her forehead was supposed to be.
- But Kilanjo remained emotionless as he stared in horror at what had happened.
- Is this what Saekanis wanted? Nef had followed that great wolf spirit all throughout her life. So why had he brought destruction upon her. Wasn't she one of his follows. If not one of his most trusted? So why her? Why now?
- Anger begun to build up inside of Kilanjo as he turned around and said in a quiet tone.
- "I'm . . . . I'm going to go out. Excuse me. . . ."
- With a slight bow to his mother as he sent out a prayer to Saekanis. His mother never followed Asena, probably never thought of it. So it was best to send it out towards the great wolf spirit of destruction.
- Suddenly, he would turn around and walk back into the living room. Heading into his room and grabbing the depraved amulet that he dared not to ever wear.
- Placing it around his neck as a necklace. Kilanjo figured it was best to follow Saekanis. As the Great Wolf Spirit of Destruction may just help him in killing the one who slew his mother
