  1. [19:49] <fallenLady> FL: G'day, darling! How's the high life been treating a venerable lady such as yourself?
  2. [19:50] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Abysmal. My parents will not cease with their incessant partying, and it has moved up to the point where it is interfering with my reading. Regardless, a perfect time for you to message me.
  3. [19:51] <abyssalParadigm> AP: And how might you be doing?
  4. [19:54] <fallenLady> FL: Quite dismal, although when does life not tarry on such feelings? Best to lay them to the wayside, lass. Bit of spunk and livelyness never hurt anyone. I get what thine is preaching, though. Some good ol' time for tis' own self is a pleasure to be had.
  5. [19:57] <abyssalParadigm> AP: You and I both know that is how I prefer to spend my time in general. But yes, perhaps it is best for me to drown out the atrocious music and speak to an old friend. And why might it be going so dismal, dear?
  6. [20:00] <fallenLady> FL: Ah, the usual sob story. Thieving tis not the simplest of professions, despite what the young lasses say.
  7. [20:01] <fallenLady> FL: Law enforcement are quite dreadful, as the ol' analogies say.
  8. [20:02] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Yes, it requires much more thought, effort, and action than most assume it does. Law enforcement does tend to complicate things.
  9. [20:02] <abyssalParadigm> AP: The folk resting in graves are long dead.
  10. [20:02] <abyssalParadigm> AP: They will not miss whatever is taken.
  11. [20:04] <fallenLady> FL: Ah, I adore your endearing support for mine cause! Tis not many who take no shame in robbing of any kind.
  12. [20:05] <fallenLady> FL: Bit of ah contrivance, stealing from the departed. But the laws mean someone hasn't looted the poor sod's treasure first, so they serve their purpose.
  13. [20:05] <abyssalParadigm> AP: There is no harm in it. It is much more efficient to cremate as is, the waste of space is atrocious. Why they bury their dead is beyond me, especially with their valuables.
  14. [20:06] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Much better it is used than if it rots under the earth for eternity.
  15. [20:07] <fallenLady> FL: Couldn't agree more, sweetheart! All gleam and gold, in the clutching embrace of the bleached. A fair shame for those who placed it there.
  16. [20:08] <fallenLady> FL: But enough about me! Any new developments in thine own adventures?
  17. [20:10] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Yes, although many would not believe what I speak of.
  18. [20:10] <abyssalParadigm> AP: You do remember my studies of magic, correct?
  19. [20:10] <fallenLady> FL: Ah, can say the image tickles the recesses of mine consciousness, certainly.
  20. [20:12] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Well, my findings have eventually reached a conclusive result. Upon finding a hidden room within the library by chance of pulling a stray book, I discovered a hidden room.
  21. [20:13] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Contained within were a set of Ivory Wands, a Dark Arcana... And a Crystal Ball.
  22. [20:13] <fallenLady> FL: Careful, lass, this tale eeks of mocking horrors. Best not dive too deep, lest you be consumed.
  23. [20:14] <abyssalParadigm> AP: And so it does. In fact, upon my first usage of the book, I was nearly overwhelmed by the forces contained within. However, they could not conquer my soul.
  24. [20:14] <abyssalParadigm> AP: And so I learned to control them.
  25. [20:15] <fallenLady> FL: You certain thats not an illusory guise? Could very well be the opposite.
  26. [20:15] <fallenLady> FL: Wouldn't want my sweet thing to be a darkened oracle.
  27. [20:15] <abyssalParadigm> AP: I am aware of why they cannot, as it deleves into my very psychosis iself.
  28. [20:16] <abyssalParadigm> AP: They cannot find a hold on me because I am neither good nor evil, to put it in black and white terms. Ridiculous ones, as they do not truly exist, but descriptive nonetheless.
  29. [20:16] <abyssalParadigm> AP: I am not "good" enough to be corrupted, nor am I "evil" enough to become enticed.
  30. [20:17] <fallenLady> FL: Balance the needle upon thine head, eh? Tread carefully, tad shove in either direction, and a Lady becomes a leviathan.
  31. [20:19] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Yes, I am more than aware. I have taken precautionary measures against that as well, I assure you.
  32. [20:19] <abyssalParadigm> AP: I have no plans to be any elder god's tool.
  33. [20:20] <fallenLady> FL: And mineself had no plans to be a common thief. Fate runs amok with its course, friend.
  34. [20:21] <abyssalParadigm> AP: A fair rebuttal. Let us hope you will not get caught on one of your exploits either.
  35. [20:21] <abyssalParadigm> AP: It seems we are both at risk.
  36. [20:23] <fallenLady> FL: As are all, sweetheart. Mortality hest be a tenebrous line to walk.
  37. [20:25] <abyssalParadigm> AP: And so it is. Other than my magical exploits, it has been the usual studying that I have spent my time upon.
  38. [20:25] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Rather uninteresting to speak of, compared to experiencing it for yourself.
  39. [20:28] <fallenLady> FL: Eh? Do you yearn to behold the great experience of life in the fetid ages? Take comfort in your relative safety, Cas. Could be infinite worse.
  40. [20:30] <abyssalParadigm> AP: There is no greater discomfort than boredom. Even without my parents providing for my income, I am more than capable of handling myself.
  41. [20:30] <abyssalParadigm> AP: They are both imbeciles. However, they are imbeciles with money.
  42. [20:32] <fallenLady> FL: If a dignified lady such as thy is capable of handling tis' own self, perhaps you should seek solace in houses other than the current one?
  43. [20:33] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Capable of being so and it being the best to benefit your situation are two very different things.
  44. [20:34] <abyssalParadigm> AP: The library is most of the reason I remain.
  45. [20:34] <fallenLady> FL: Yet you fuss about studying being dreadfully dull?
  46. [20:38] <abyssalParadigm> AP: It is when I am not studying that I am bored. And studying is not all I do.
  47. [20:39] <abyssalParadigm> AP: I am inclined to admit, I do have it quite easy. I am not unaware of my situation's benefits.
  48. [20:39] <fallenLady> FL: A little adventure wouldn't tarnish your perfect form, Darling. What say you on accompanying me on one of my outings? I'll make it particularly enthralling, and not particularly rancid, as they usually go.
  49. [20:41] <abyssalParadigm> AP: One day, I will take you up on that offer. I cannot promise it to be soon, but know that the day will come.
  50. [20:42] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Until then... May your travels be joyous, and your labors fruitful.
  51. [20:43] <fallenLady> FL: That's the spirit, love! I fear I hear sirens drawing closer. Take care, and show those beslubbering dewberries the wrath of a classy woman!
  52. [20:44] <abyssalParadigm> AP: And you show them the inventiveness of a powerful individual, capable of anything she sets her mind to.
  53. [20:44] <abyssalParadigm> AP: Goodbye.
