[16:09] Another good question that required him to give more sound advice to the young man. Waylan began tapping his fingers on the table while forming the list in his mind.

"Alright" he clasped his hands together "I suggest you gather a piece of paper and something to write with. This will be a considerably long and detailed list."

Waylan motioned towards his necklace which held a few stars if not most of them from each branch.

"Do know that each star within the red branch is known for enhancing the users capacity in every fashion. This branch is known for enhancing combat abilities, but it requires extreme concentration and a strong will.

We have Ios which is known for boosting one's morale, followed by that we have Vrona and those who connect with that star find their offensive prowess increased."

Waylan paused, allowing the young man time to write down the first two stars.

"Next we have Anos, which you could consider the opposite of Vrona and that star increases your defensive prowess. A good defense if just as good as a powerful offense, yes?"

Waylan continued going down the list of known stars within the red branch.

"Yiel, I'd consider a special case truth be told, one which tests your faith in a way. You wish to be stronger enough to protect your own faith in a way. Truly religious, but grants you the ability to fight for said religion.

The old ranking within the Church had a keeper of the Faith, when those who sought to become a Cadet or Knight. The keeper of Faith protected the Church a knight in their own way."

Another that required a deep explanation of course, but Waylan had a feeling he'd like the previous one. It was a gut feeling of sorts, but he'd continue nonetheless.

"Neoi, truly another one I'm curious about, it's a start that fits with those who find themselves to be extremely intelligent. Though when you look at the deeper meaning being that star, what's stronger than a person's mind? If you can truly break a person's mind then why would they continue fighting?

Those who possess strong minds and will are powerful in their own way. Another good lesson, power doesn't always come from how hard you can hit a person. Knowledge is power."

He'd finally come to the last and final star within the branch and he'd allow the young man to speak.

"Twe, and with this star it can bring extreme wealth in a way. I could see a merchant who wants to delve into the Faith and learn about the stars finding this one interesting to them.

Though each star has a different meaning to each person who speaks with them, this is how I see them in my own opinion; I hold this allows you to form your own and make a good decision."

[16:24] Adelmo would place out a quill as well as a journal he had brought from home to record his journies, in which he would label the heading line of the paper 'The Stars of The Red Branch'. Adelmo nodded his head to Waylan "Alright, continue please." With that, Adelmo would listen to his superior Waylan's information.

First of which he would write down the first star, that of the star of Los which is known to boost ones moral. Adelmo considered how this might benefit him as a person, though this star in specific didn't seem to intrigue him that much.

The next star that Adelmo would write down would be that of the Vrona star

After the star of Vrona, Adelmo would write down that of the Anos star, which seemed to have the opposite properties compared to the Vrona star.

The next star struck him different than the last, a star which depended solely on that of faith. His beliefs towards the stars were becoming stronger as he adapted to the religion, Yiel was appealing to him to say the least. He considered for a moment that this one was truly a good bet of what he might want to connect to.

The next of which would be Neoi, a strike of intelligence is what it seemed to be. Adelmo himself was not gifted with anything superb, but this star was still an option nonetheless.

Along with that, would come the star of Twe. Extreme wealth was promised here, though extreme wealth was not appealing much to Adelmo... he though along the idea but this star seemed to be the least wanted.

The young boy would think for a good amount of time before turning back to Waylan for his decision.

"...Waylan. I hope to connect to that of the star of Yiel, as faith has bestowed upon me a new meaning. I wish to protect our shared ideology with all that I can, and that is why I choose this star as my desired star."

[16:42] Waylan nods he had a feeling that the young man would like Yiel from their previous conversation.

"The first step when attempting to call a star is location. I suggest finding a place that's quiet and you can clear your mind and focus on meditation.

While you're doing that you make an attempt to call out to the star and listen to it speak back. This process will help you create a bond that won't easily be broken, yes?"

He'd offer him a smile while they spoke he felt this young man would become a great addition.

"I can help you achieve this connection or you can attempt it yourself to make it a lot more personal that way. The choice is yours really; I'll allow you to make the choice."

[16:48] Adelmo thought to himself considering what he should do at this point. The connection to one of these stars had not yet been put in place for him, it would be difficult to establish something like that alone. He turned back towards Waylan and nodded his head with a smile.

"Well Waylan, considering my options i've never really meditated in my life. I don't much know the area so if it isn't a burden to you, I would like your help, to help me establish what I'll be going through with this."

"If that's not a problem, I'm ready whenever you are Waylan."

Adelmo was confident in his faith, but his ability to carry out these things was still beginner, he considered It would be best to have Waylan watch over him and help him with it.

[16:59] Waylan nods again he didn't mind offering assistance if it was required. Once upon a time people offered him assistance and now he could do the same for others.

"Alright, I'm not doing anything at the moment, so I'd be more than happy to help you achieve that sat you seek. Let's find a good spot that's quiet and we'll teach you how to meditate and speak to the stars, yes?"

Waylan motions for the young man to follow him while they search for a spot.

[17:29] Adelmo would think for a moment to himself but the answer itself was already clear "What I hope to gain from that connection? Well..."

"I've embraced this religion and its ideologies as my own. I've come to accept it and hold pride in it, all my faith rests in its hands Waylan. Though some might consider it too soon, this religion gives me a purpose as a being. So with that, I hope that I can be fulfilled and enlightened, so that I may learn the teachings and work my life to defend it. I hope to gain the power so that I may influence others in the future."

Adelmo smiled "I suppose that's it Waylan, I hope to gain inner peace and the ability to carry on and spread the teachings of which I have found."

[17:45] "I see, well you have your answer in a way when you're focusing on your meditation it's best to have a goal in kind. You have the reason for why you want to form the connection next is attempting to form a bond."

Waylan sat on the ground, closing his eyes attempting to clear his mind of everything around him.

"Follow me; I want you to mimic my movements and clear your mind and we'll move on to the next step."

[17:46] Adelmo looked at Waylan curiously as he offered his wise advice to him, mimicking his move, Adelmo would sit on the earthy floor, closing his eyes. He had never meditated before so it was a little bit different for him.

It took a couple of moments for Adelmo to settle his mind. But suddenly, a wave of tranquility would rush over the teen as he breathed in deeply.

[17:54] Now that they we're both in position it was time to clear their minds and attempt to speak to the stars.

"The next part is something you'll have to do, yes? Imagine you're in front of the star of your choice. Reach out and grab it, speak to it, and keep your goals in mind.

Your heart must be true and your faith must be stronger; I want to you to attempt and reach out for the star you want.

Pled your case to Yiel, tell them what you wish to achieve and bind with them."

[18:10] Waylan's words flooded Adelmo's blank canvas of an imagination as every word in which he uttered was thoroughly understood. Adelmo seemed to be in a sort of autopilot sequenced as his immense concentration which felt light as a feather would be put to use.

It almost felt as if his body were two separate organisms or rather entities as Adelmo would process what might be going on. It felt lucid to him, it felt like maybe Adelmo could do anything. He wouldn't choose what came to him but rather he'd let whatever was guiding him take him to the destination in which he needed to be.

As he was guided, a warm feeling of comfort rushed over Adelmo's body, as if loneliness and despair had all but been erased from that of his emotional inventory.

Adelmo appeared at what he could only make out to be the pinnacle of ascension. All of his senses seemed to be in one as he reached what he could only presume to be the star of Yiel. The feeling of a smile and the warmth that came with was present on the young Adelmo's face, though he could not realize his own physical expression.



No words were offered but the feeling of correctness and to carry on was given to the young Adelmo. It seemed like no words could be made out by the young boy yet, the connection was weak and yet it was there...

[18:15] Adelmo is given yet again another sense of acceptance. Although, this sign seemed a tad more unsure than the last. Adelmo sat wondering what that might mean, until he had figured it out.

The star of Yiel had accepted him. Though, their connection still had much more development through and through. Adelmo sat there peacefully as he tried to make out what the entity beyond his comprehension might look like, his eyes focused.

His own description seemed to be more clear now as Adelmo's senses split. His eyes again focused upon what he could only assume to be an orb. He held it in his hand, peacefully wondering what it might bring to him.

Adelmo focused everything into this orb like ball... and suddenly, he saw it. He saw what he could only presumed to be his meaning, his destiny. The only thing he could let out was a gasp before he was summoned back to outer world.

Adelmo's loud gasp would awake the one next to him.

[18:21] Waylan didn't want to disturbed him from his meditation all seemed to be going quite well for him truth be told. Waylan was here to offer assistance, guidance, and answer any questions he might have.

Waylan kept his eyes closed for the time being

[18:23] Adelmo's eyes would open as his vision would come back to place. The sea breeze would wash over the rocks as he stood up, lightly shaking Waylan. "Waylan I.. I think I established something I-I don't know for sure. I saw Yiel, he accepted me. He accepted my request and some orb appeared in front of me and.."

Adelmo seemed to be speaking a little jibberish as he tried to comprehend what exactly had happened, taking a deep breath he would turn towards his superior. "I think I've established a feint connection, Waylan."

[18:24] Adelmo Fairman says, "refund"
[18:37] "Have you?" Waylan was elated to hear about his connection. This was what he lived to do. This was great news in-fact he couldn't wait to see the boy continue to grow.

"Not it's up to you to make the connection stronger and continue calling out towards the stars. It will come a time when your connection needs to be at it's strongest and the stars will bless you with their knowledge."

[18:40] Adelmo smiled, he had come in contact with just the star he was hoping to, he stood up with a wide smile upon his face as he nodded "I'm guessing the way I can make this connection stronger is by meditating and getting deeper within... might I ask what your star has done for you so far?"

[18:53] Waylan nodded it was a fair question, but it had a very long history and well detailed answer, but he'd make it short.

"Sae, the star has granted me knowledge to help those around me. The knowledge to understand the different branches and to seek balance between them all.

It's truly given me a gift and it's something I've been using to help others. As for you; I suggest you find situations in which help you connect with your star more."

[19:00] Adelmo thought for a moment

Adelmo nodded his head "Very well Waylan. I'll come here every day to meditate in hope of connecting once again to Yiel. And I'll spread the meaning of our religion as well as its base principals. I hope to help others just as you have me in the future, and I'll continue to be grateful for the support you give me. Thank you once again for helping me find this."

[19:07] Waylan gives one final nod towards the young teen. "That's very noble of you and it's all I can ask for. I want everyone to experience the same joy and eye opening journey you have. If you plan on leaving I suggest you be safe, yes? I'll return to the city shortly."

He offered him smile while he continued sitting there with his eyes closed.

[19:10] Adelmo smiled back at Waylan "Very well Waylan, thank you once again for your help. I'll make sure to continue my practice."

With that, Adelmo turned to face the city.
