I'm so excited for Californithon. A speedrunning marathon based in California is finally happening after being a very highly requested thing for a long time now and it's going to be better than we could have imagined it! Shoutouts to Jeff, aka JYochem94, for doing most of the planning for this marathon and just being a general leader in all of this! Never would have thought we would get eSports Arena in Santa Ana involved and it just makes this reality all the more awesome. Game submissions will be opening soon, but for now follow @californithon on twitter for future updates. 	As for speed plans, I want to keep doing SM64DS for a few more weeks to get much more consistent at it, then probably the week before AGDQ I need to return to Kirby Squeak Squad to be much more prepared for my run in the event. I'm having a lot of fun with SM64DS though, even if I'm usually not showing it when I stream. The game is just very intense and heavy on execution and I guess I'm not used to it yet, but I've been practicing this game every day in order to work on my consistency, so hopefully I can destroy my time soon. At one point I wanted to return to Metroid Fusion temporarily just to work on my commentary for the game, since I'm commentating the 4 way race of it at AGDQ, but that's now kind of up in the air for me because of my intense motivation to run DS games again now that I can, and just general lack of time. I'll probably do at least 1 stream before hand though, and I have 2 days in between my run and the race that I could go over commentary during, so everything should be fine anyways.

	LightBlueYoshi, the guy who made TASes of Yoshi's island DS on Youtube about 5 years ago (https://www.youtube.com/user/LightBlueYoshi/search?query=yoshi%27s+island+ds), got back to me a few hours ago about routing YI:DS for RTA and he told me a bunch of things about different glitches and what could be applicable for runs. He also informed me of someone who is currently in the process of TASing 100% in the game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqkiNpnAzT0), so that has me very very excited to start routing the game with everything this game has to offer glitch-wise and other. That will start probably after AGDQ is over, and I'm planning on streaming all of my routing for this game too. I'm very excited for the final product of all of this!

	Finally, I'll be attending Genesis 3 in San Jose, California the weekend of January 15-17. It's a big Smash tourney that many top players are going to. I originally wasn't planning on going at all because I'm not too big into this kind of thing, but Jeff (JYochem94), BlkYoshi, and Manikku convinced me otherwise and now I'm really interested. I'll be competing in all 3 Smash games there (64, Melee, and 4) for fun, since I know I won't place too highly in any of them most likely. I'm best at 4, so hopefully I can at least place higher in that than the other 2, but that's just up to my Toon Link, Samus, and/or Yoshi to decide for me ;)
