“What have you done to my baby?” the scientist screamed. “You think you can outsmart me? I’m the outsmarter! Nobody outsmarts the outsmarter!” And with the flick of a button, a volley of missiles erupted through the cave. One finally blew up next to Tails!

“Tails, no!” Sonic cried, still taking a pummeling from Knuckles’ big fists.

An unconscious Tails crashed into the snow, compass sliding out of his hand. Both rolled down the slope of the mountain, getting closer and closer to a sharp drop off a cliff!
