Personality: Although she entered Aperture as a fun-loving, mischievous, and a generally happy child, several events have made her quiet, but she's recently began to reopen herself. She's become much more childlike since learning the hard way that she was still very much a child, especially in this place. She enjoys to have fun, but does obey, if she's nervous or afraid, she doesn't speak in full sentences.

Home World: Aya comes from a human occupied planet, and in specific, a desert town where water was usually a luxury. As a result, she has a had alcohol, but weak brews that don't intoxicate her much. The currency there is of Sovereigns, but the planet's Sovereign system is explained at the bottom. Much like olden times, things are relatively cheap- a whole meat pie is worth a copper sovereign, for example. However, it's hard to buy things on other planets with this currency.

Backstory: When Aya was five, she was blinded by bigger thieves in a mugging, resulting in scarred eyes. Frightened and in pain, her magic welled forth in the form of a fire wall, which sent her attackers fleeing. At the same time, she ran the opposite way, and accidentally stumbled into a magic shop ran by a witch who she calls Miss Bennett. Miss Bennett helped tend to her wounds, and gave her a place as assistant in the shop, as well as taught the blinded girl about creatures other than what Man knows- trolls, faeries, fey folk, angels, and other such creatures. Although she considers the lessons to be enough, the witch usually gives the witchling a few coins to buy food from, despite protests. With Miss Bennett, she's explored many worlds, though due to a tendency to get lost, was given a skeleton key that serves as a way to make a portal to anyplace, so long as there's a door with a lock to walk through. The world most often mentioned from the child is the Nightside, a sort of pocket dimension whose main entrance is in London, on Earth. In this dimension, it's always two a.m., and sin runs rampant, and anyone could sell their soul for a penny. There's many creatures and races there, resulting in curiosity from the girl about other races, rather than fear. When Aya pestered Miss Bennett enough about wanting to be able to see colors again, the older witch cast a True Seeing spell on the child. Due to the spell, Aya can see the dominating color of an item or person in her mind's eye, in the shape of the item or person, if the item or person is within five feet of normal line of sight (meaning she cannot 'see' beside her or out of peripherals, and is unable to 'see' past five feet).
