  70. Bio:
  71. Callimachus - Cal to his friends (few and far between) - is a Kovalian scholar that isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Although his parents are both academics as well, he took more after his father's father, who he was named after; Kolya Barak Moralis, a cartographer who made it his life work to map the unknown areas of the world in places such as the Northern Wildlands and the Waterlands. Although his grandfather eventually vanished on his final expedition into the Grey Wasteland, Callimachus was undeterred in his ambition to follow his footsteps.
  72.
  73. He did well enough in his schooling, but unknown to his parents he also wandered the city on his days off, eventually meeting a criminal named Tomaso Urion Angelopoulos. The thief took Cal in as an unofficial apprentice, teaching him many things he could never learn in school - how to sneak, how to pick pockets, how to pick locks, to conceal and defend himself with small weaponry, to evaluate people and places, and many other things besides. These talents served Callimachus very well later in life, helping him come home safely from many dangerous expeditions in his early 20s.
  74.
  75. His most famous journey is one that reached even the ears of the royal family, and was also the journey his grandfather died attempting. Overcoming great odds to defeat not only the harsh expedition west - with the natural dangers of not only crossing the Iron Mountains and the Northern Wildlands but also the little resources and undead peril of the Grey Wasteland - but also the failing structures and traps of an abandoned tomb, Callimachus made what might become the greatest discovery of his life: A Centaurian fresco, miraculously unspoiled by the elements and time. He brought home several drawings he sketched of it and extensive journals detailing his progress, and in a little under six months after returning his find was verified by many other academics.
  76.
  77. He has since undertook other, smaller expeditions, but it seemed unlikely he would ever discover something of the same historical implications and magnitude... until he received an invitation from the current heir, Yosif Aliberti himself, for an entirely different kind of journey...
