  1. A challenge? One thing about Miura, was that he was always there to test Uri's strength, especially now that he was Captain. The crew member was not committing mutiny but rather seeing if the Captain was truly powerful enough to keep himself restrained so often. Uri never displayed his true abilities, not unless the times had called for it. But here, he would display a little more, a bit of a light show as the two fought with their fire shrouds and Miura with his elemental attunement upon a blade. In the end, the two had gained a higher respect for one another, from Miura to Uri as a worthy Captain and Uri to Miura as a Polished Path Seeker.
  2.
  3.
  4.
  5. [16:04] Miura says, "You're the strongest flame user I know. Even I want to improve."
  6. 16:07] Of course the young Captain would stroll into the arena, listening to the words of his friend as well as his most polished and well known Path Seeker... "You flatter me, though, you know I won't be fighting at full power... I never do less the situation calls for it or, we enter someplace where no one can watch us.."
  7.
  8. Uri was not paranoid but cautious. As he had many eyes on him, always watching always wondering if they can get the edge on him... Which was why he changed his fighting style so frequently and constantly limited himself when conducting spars.
  9.
  10. But even then, for this, he would train. Focusing those flames into his fist, trying to achieve an inferno flame. After all, one did not just spring up out of bed knowing how to infuse flames into their fist, it always took practice more than it took utilizing them under stress.
  11. (Uri Sanctum)
  12. 16:11] The embers eagerly awaited to clash with the Sanctum's own. For it was Uri who made him better when he lacked strength, it was the Phoenix that donated some of it's flames to his own, to have them burn hotter.
  13.
  14. The Sword whipped through the air, controlled by Miura. He coughed, before speaking.
  15.
  16. "You don't have to go full power. I just want to seek out your flames for guidance once more. They fuel me with power."
  17.
  18. Finally, he smirked, before applying pressure on his left foot, allowing him to eject forward, Sword in hand. Miura too was cautious. Eyes watched the two, eyes that did not need to see the extent of their power.
  19. (Miura)
  20.
  21. [16:12] Uri nods his head, getting into an offensive stance. "So be it then... Let's Ignite and shine old friend."
  22. (Uri Sanctum)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [16:17] Uri would look at Miura from the distance after delivering an axe kick that would send his comrade flying. The heat channeled within would be only enough to end their first round with each other. "You can do better than that! Or are you facing some sort of worldly delay?" he asked Miura whilst constantly pouring fire into his limbs...
  26.
  27. His mana was what kept the heat going, the ideals of the phoenix and how one should utilize the flames. For Uri, his flames were hinted with a few golden embers. Possible the only reason his shroud stood out from Miuras at this moment.
  28.
  29. "I know you're just warming up Miura," he waits, assuming the fighting stance of the inferno fist once more. An attempt to perfect something he had yet to grasp.
  30. (Uri Sanctum)
  31.
  32. 16:21] The fight went to Uri. Miura's movements were far too shallow, as well as his body being inhibited by the injuries he had suffered thus far. In any case, he could still push onwards. It wasn't much of an issue for the Adult to break past his limits, just as he had done numerous times before.
  33.
  34. Eyes flickered across the dojo, eyeing the golden heat from his flames. The structure they possessed, and in the mannerism they moved was unfathomable. Miura needed to idealise that form, somehow.
  35.
  36. Eventually, the flames brought him back to lock his gaze with Uri.
  37.
  38. He sighed, before picking himself up. He needed to up his game, burn brighter.
  39.
  40. "Heh... You know me too well."
  41.
  42. Right after, he stared towards Raq, and gave him a simple glare.
  43.
  44. "Get out. We're training."
  45. (Miura)
  46.
  47. Uri Emerges Victorious!
  48.
  49. [16:24] "I see."
  50.
  51. Elora said at first then took a minute or so to watch the spar. It wasn't after Miura told the other one to leave that she'd respond.
  52.
  53. "That's a good goal. I'll try to help you achieve it. At least part of it. I'm going to push you even more then.
  54.
  55. You're going to need it if you wish to become what you seek.
  56.
  57. We can start your training soon if you wish. But first tell me, do you know any other magic?"
  58. (Elora Renae Otho)
  59. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  60.
  61. [16:29] What was that? Uri thought to himself as he watched, literally WATCHED Miura with his own two eyes. Dodge the explosion ability of his as well as his cosmic rain so fluently in one single dash! Uri was beyond impressed, he was proud of the growth shown from his friend, the Path Seeker of his crew.
  62.
  63. "Not bad," said the Captain as he dashed forward with his fist at the ready. His flames poured through as fluently as his mana, but... Not as great as he thought it would be, not this time around for the dice gods of fate have landed on a three... A low but not so much of a medium number...
  64.
  65. However, Uri continued to push through, until he would be pushed into a corner by Miura.. He was catching up! The flames were prominent within his sword wielding friend. "You've always been a good dancer!" Shouted Uri as he delivers the final blow, a meteor dash punch to the GUT of GUTS...
  66.
  67. Not Knocking him down..."Stand," Uri said coldly as if they were gladiators training when in reality, it was that of a strategist against an instinctive combatant.
  68.
  69. But holding him in place after impact, with his other hand on Miura's shoulder to keep him standing, even if it would hurt like all hell. He knew his friend would fight the pain, to fight the fire from his fist and stand.
  70. (Uri Sanctum)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [16:30] "I know no other magic. It is another reason why I am reaching out to you, I have a strong understanding of mana manipulation and can use it practically, but I do not have a school of magic under my belt." She was still smiling, her answer clear.
  74.
  75. "I do not mind if we start our training soon, thank you." Nymeria felt as if she was about to take the steps on a path many had travelled before. She was glad of this.
  76.
  77. The Rhoynish woman stood up to stretch her legs, and looked over again to the battlefield. Chaotic as always it seemed.
  78. (Nymeria Indoril)
  79. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  80.
  81. [16:34] The young man would watch as the two of them fought, studying and learning from the way they were fighting.
  82.
  83. "Those were interesting foire techniques ye used, explosions weren't they ?"
  84. (Raq Ru Amra)
  85. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  86.
  87. [16:36] Powerful! Despite Miura physically swearing to step up the game, he hadn't the vitality to back up his statement. As such, the Swordsman laced in orange flames did manage to find himself past an explosive spell, but it was for nought. The Sword did not cut strong enough, neither did his flames burn akin to Uri's.
  88.
  89. The Captain himself took to his fist, before slamming it directly into Miura's own gut, the same manner in which he had done to train Skye, would now face Miura. However, this attack was far powerful than his own, possessing unparalleled power behind it.
  90.
  91. This was why Uri Sanctum was the Captain of the Soaring Phoenix. It was his veil of flames that they stood with, attracted to the flames.
  92.
  93. The mithril Sword fell, Miura's knees dropping to the floorboards. Flames of a Phoenix. . .
  94.
  95. He didn't scream. Instead, he grunted, before clutching his stomach. Uri was kind enough to hold in place, so he didn't fall backwards.
  96.
  97. However, it was still a good experience.
  98.
  99. "Geh… A flame dancer, if you can call it that. I'm happy with this outcome. I got to learn how you siphon your flames that well."
  100. (Miura)
  101.
  102. [16:45] Uri smiled at his comrade, patting him on the shoulder as he admired the growth within Miura. "Strength grows ten fold in those who conceal it. Always a gift to the beholder," said Uri as he would then finally retract his burning fist from Miura's stomach... It was but a simple injury to mend, one that would be cleansed through the cosmic energies within his palm.
  103.
  104. Slowly, but surely, Uri would work to mend the injury, so that Miura would better feel and adopt this heat as his own. "In each of us fire magi lies an ancient flame, it's just a matter of how we achieve it, and you, I'm certain have that same potential my friend."
  105.
  106. The healing of the wound was slow, but something that didn't take as much of a toll on his energy reserves as a major injury wound. No these were simply medical applications being done so that his Path Seeker could go about the day, training with those others from their crew or those willing to learn. Afterthis, Uri would've made his departure to towards Elora and the others.
  107. (Uri Sanctum)
  108.
  109. [17:01] Although Miura's hood cloaked his face well, people who were rather close could glance at his facial structure at least. There was a smile on his face, not similar to his normal freakish smile, nor his battle-honed smirk. It was humanity. For the first time in years, Miura could smile. A single tear dropped, but no more.

  112.
  113. He breathed momentarily, before receiving the words of the Sanctum, embedding into his Character akin to letters written by the flames.
  114.
  115. Next, came the physical. The fist that once collided with Miura's armor, cemented the mark of a Phoenix inside of him, a donation of Uri's flames, one could call it.
  116.
  117. 'In each of us fire magi lies an ancient flame, it's just a matter of how we achieve it, and you, I'm certain have that same potential my friend.'
  118.
  119. The words burned its way into him. As did the flame that helped mend his injury.
  120.
  121. He concluded it with anod, clenching his prosthetic arm. It was strange. Although it was mechanic, it proved to contain the most humanity in his existence. It had been with him through arduous times, when he thought it was over.
  122.
  123. It had even been here to feel Uri's flames.
  124.
  125. "I'll burn hotter. I've felt your flames, and I'll match that same heat you displayed to me today. Thank you, Uri."
  126. (Miura)
  127. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  128.
  129. [17:04] As he walked away, the flames around him would cool down, going from a mass of heat, into a collection of embers until finally. Nothing more than hot air, looking back to his comrade with a wave...
  130.
  131. "Anytime--Actually... I plan to meet someone for a civil discussion... If you need me, I will be in the forest for a while, but, be safe Miura."
  132.
  133. The Captain would venture off into the outskirts of Osrona… He figured, he'd be safe within their territory but always, prepared.
  134. (Uri Sanctum)
