- 2. Description
- *****************************************************************
- Fixes the Dawnguard guard dialogue for MaleNordCommander to make it consistent with the base
- game voice acting. So a pet peeve of mine was hearing "Heard they're reforming the Dawnguard.
- Vampire hunters or something, in the old fort near Riften. Might consider joining up myself."
- performed in the same style as vampire voice acting. I'm assuming the voice director did an
- oopsie and forgot to give the voice actor proper direction for these lines. This mod fixes
- that problem.
- You can hear a sample comparison here: https://sites.google.com/view/dawnguard-guard-va-fix
- Originally this was uploaded as an optional addon for Extended Guard Dialogue, however players
- kept mistaking it as a fix for that mod, which it is not, so I decided to spin it off as its
- own separate mod to solve that confusion.

- Never heard of vampires doing anything like that before.

- 4. F.A.Q
- *****************************************************************
- Q. What patch level is required?
- A. None.
- Q. Do I need Dawnguard, Hearthfire or Dragonborn or additional plugins like SKSE?
- A. You will need Dawnguard.
- Q. Is this ESL flagged?
- A. Yes.
- Q. What is this incompatible with?
- A. Shouldn't be incompatible with anything. Basically this just overrides a handful of voice acting
- lines. No edits needed to be made. The .esp is basically blank and is only used to load the .bsa.
- Q. Is this safe to add/remove mid-game?
- A. Yes.
- *****************************************************************
- 5. Uninstallation
- *****************************************************************
- Dawnguard Guard VA Fix does not contain any script files so removing it mid-playthrough shouldn't
- cause any problems. If you want to remove the mod permanently:
- 1. Close the game.
- 2. Remove the Dawnguard Guard VA Fix.esp and Dawnguard Guard VA Fix.bsa files from your Skyrim data
- folder. By default this should be either of the following locations:
- C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data
- or for 64-bit Windows:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data
- 3. Remove Dawnguard Guard VA Fix.esp from your load list.
