While this is an interesting place, it's a hell of a lot different from Innistrad, even if it feels like it's in the same universe. And isn't that a weird thing? I mean, I have the same result if I use the portal gun here as I did there - a one way trip to the Dimension of Pain, which really is not fun and continues to make me happy that I have Achron. Though... it's weird that I can actually tap into the land to use massive amounts of magic from it. That's new; I'll have to practice.

Demona is amusing herself by running around and getting involved in the war, while I'm just being looked at suspiciously, what with being an eight foot tall man. Oh, and some of them are also trying to exorcise demons from me, or something - I try to steer clear of that maniacs, though occasionally violence is the only language they understand. I'm happy to inform them that I can speak it quite fluently. Other people continue to send me from place to place to place, but that at least gives me time to understand the local magic to better integrate it with Mímisbrunnr. Which Demona is ALSO having a ball with, since it has opened so many more doors to her, magically speaking.

I'm not entirely sure why I just detected an army about an hour in my future, however, but... well. Some might recall that I mentioned that I've felt changes when I go into a new world? In this one... well, I feel I'm gaining more of the trappings of godhood. I'm able to tap the land itself to gain power. I know the hearts of those who bow to me. And, inexplciably, I'm also able to grow to a size over two hundred feet tall, even if I keep my human form. Also inexplicable: my saber also grows with me.

I look forward to either punching a kaiju into the sun, or cutting it from stem to stern.

(All-Terrain Hiker is absolutely CRITICAL to this, incidentally - otherwise the ground has the consistency of mud and you sink to your waist pretty quickly.)
