Eat Kelsey's Tacos

Covet: Kelsey was in the kitchen making chicken street tacos with all the fresh stuffs for it. She had on her apron and was dancing a little in front of the stove, making sure the chicken was cooking away. She had one of her text books set up on a cook book stand and she was reading away while cooking as well. // Connor was sitting at the table building with some legos, doing the imaginary pretend kid thing with the people.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad was on his way out of his room when he smelled the aromatic dinner Kelsey was clearly cooking in the common area. Turning and redirecting his attention, he headed down the hall in that direction, following his nose until he was hovering over the counter watching her. "What're you making?" He asked before stealing a quick glance at Connor and his legos.-
Covet: "Tacos, I told you I'd make you dinner last night, but then we were at Prominade for way later than we expected. So Tonight is Taco Tuesday." She told him with a laugh. " I had a last minute photoshoot come up, so I got the rest of my class work sent to me by my professors, then when I was done at the shoot, I picked up stuff for dinner, and a new Lego set for Connor." She told him. as she stirred the chicken around. // Connor saw Brad come in and started calling out to him, "Dad, Dad, Look Momma got me the cars legos!"
Alexithymiaa: "Just because you said you would make dinner doesnt mean I know that, that meant tacos." He said, turning to walk over to Connor's table to look down at the new lego set he was playing around with. "I see. It looks so cool. Are you having fun?" He asked him, lifting his hand to rustle his hair in a very dad sort of way.-
Covet: "I never said it did, But I figured by the smell you could have guessed. Silly." She said, turning the heat down on the chicken so that she could start getting tortillas warmed up and put together for everyone, with all the goodies. // Connor looked at him, then pushed his hand away as Brad ruffled his hair. , "Yeah, this is really cool. And there's more sets, so I can definitely get more too!" He said driving the cars around.
Alexithymiaa: "I dont know what it smells like, I just know it smells like something I want in my stomach." He said with a laugh, pulling his hand away from Connor to drop to his side. "That's really cool, Buddy. You can make one big set." He smiled at him and walked back over to the counter, eyeing the food. "So how much longer?"-
Covet: "Not much longer, how about you get drinks out for everyone please." Kelsey said as she continued getting tacos on to all three plates. "Connor, time to put the legos away for now, and go wash up for dinner." // Connor called out to Kelsey, "Okay, Momma." He said then started putting the legos back in the box, he'd add them to his lego tote before bed, then jumped down, running to the bathroom so that he could get his hands washed up.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad watched Connor rush off to wash up for dinner before moving around the counter and into the kitchen to the fridge. "What do you want?" He asked her as he grabbed the sugar free iced tea for himself and a juice box for Connor.-
Covet: "I'll take an iced tea as well." She told him with a smile as she turned the stove off and made sure nothing was left on. Then she grabbed the plates and made her way out to the table to set them down in front of three different chairs, Connor's only had one taco on it While Brad had 3 and Kelsey only had a couple. // Connor came running back out of the bathroom with his hands dripping, wiping them on his pants as he came back out to climb back up into his seat. "It's Taco Time!"
Alexithymiaa: -Grabbing another iced tea, he turned with the three drinks in his hands and walked them over to the table, setting them down in front of each plate before taking a seat himself. "Don't eat too fast. You don't want to give yourself a tummy ache." He said before picking up a taco and shoving like half of it into his mouth on the first bite.-
Covet: "After Dinner you need to go get your Pj's on and get headed to bed too, okay Kiddo?" Kelsey said as she took a drink from her tea, then took a bite of one of her tacos smiling as she looked at Brad, "Does this make up for having your order Chinese the other night?" She asked him with a nudge of her foot under the table. // Connor wasn't nearly as adventurous as Brad and was taking smaller bites.
Alexithymiaa: "Yes." He said through a large mouthful of food, nodding his head. "Homecooked is the best." He answered and then swallowed, taking a moment to actually breathe. "You really do make the best food."-
Covet: "Awwh, You're very sweet to say as much I'm glad I could please your stomach." She said with a laugh. // Connor nodded his head, "You do Momma, It's my favorite, so is Grandma's"
Alexithymiaa: "Oh yeah." He said, nodding along with Connor. "And Grandma makes the best bread, right Little Man?" He asked, because that was straight up truth. "We should ask her to make pumpkin bread now that it's the season."-
Covet: "I can send her a message and ask her. I'm sure she'd be more than happy to make some up for us." Kelsey said as she continued eating her tacos. // "Can we get some banana bread too? That one is my favorite." He said with a nod of his head.
Alexithymiaa: "Banana bread is definitely good too." He said with a nod, polishing off his second taco with ease. "What else can she make?"-
Covet: "Proabably anything if you asked her nicely enought." Kelsey said as she wiped her hands off on a napkin. "I am getting full already." She said with still 3/4 of a taco on her plate, "Do you want to finish this?" Kelsey asked Brad. // Connor piped up, "She makes the best chicken strips!"
Alexithymiaa: "Well then we'll ask for chicken strips too!" He said a little triumphantly, eyeing the taco on Kelsey's plate and reaching over for it to pull it onto his plate. "I was thinking more baked goods. What else is seasonal?"-
Covet: "Really?I don't think Chicken strips are going to keep warm all the way from Deadwood to here." Kelsey said with a laugh. // "We could get pie?" Connor asked, because the only other baked thing besides Bread that he new was cookies or cake, and he wasn't thinking about sweet.
Alexithymiaa: "I can reheat, it's fine." he said quickly, diving into Kelsey's taco. Ha. Ha. Ha. "Oh, what about apple pie? That's seasonal, right?" He asked.-
Covet: "Yeah, Pretty much any pie is seasonal, because everything is harvested around now." She said with a nod of her head. // "But Momma, The apple pie is the best pie for now." Connor said as he took another bite.
Alexithymiaa: "Maybe..." He paused, chewing and swallowing before he spoke again. "Maybe we can go apple picking, and then we'll bring some apples to Grandma so she can make some pies. Or even better, what if we filmed a Cooking with Connor there and it can be a seasonaal episode?"-
Covet: "That would be really sweet actually. I like this idea." Kelsey said, "What do you think kiddo?" // Connor nodded his head, "Okay, but only if Grandma can be in it."
Alexithymiaa: "Of course Grandma can be in it. She's going to be your helper like Holly was. And you'll be making her recipe. I'm sure she'd love to help you. We just need to figure out where in this area we can go apple picking."-
Covet: "Can you see if Evan can call around and find out?" Kelsey asked Brad, then she took her plate and Connor's since she could tell he was done and made her way into the kitchen so that she could start getting things cleaned up. Plus she was kind of fidgety and needed something to do. // "Okay, how many apples are we going to have to have?" He asked.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, he'll get on that for us." He said with a nod before directing his attention to Connor. "Why don't you call Grandma tomorrow and ask her about her recipe and she'll tell you how many she needs?"-
Covet: Kelsey went about cleaning the dishes and getting leftovers put away in the fridge, just kind of buzzing about the kitchen. // Connor nodded, "Why can't we call her right now?" He asked.
Alexithymiaa: "Because it's late and that's rude to call someone so late. Grandma goes to sleep earlier. Speaking of which, you need to get ready for bed." He said, giving him a little poke in the side before picking up his empty plate and walking it over to the kitchen for Kelsey.-
Covet: Kelsey took his plate and gave him as smile, "Thank you babe." She told him, "Dad's right. Go get ready for bed please." She called out. // Connor gave a laugh and flailed sliding of his chair, grabbing his box of legos and headed down towards Kelsey's dorm, "I'm going, I'm going!" He called out.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad watched Connor run down to get ready for bed, waiting until he was out of sight before grabbing at Kelsey's ass. "Dinner was kickass. Thank you."-
Covet: Kelsey gave a squeal as she looked at Brad, "You're welcome. Sorry it was a day late. I had to write that paper and everything else."
Alexithymiaa: "I know, you're busy. I don't know how you're still standing at this point. And this weekend you don't even get a break? I'd be dying." He said with a short laugh, intending it to sort of be a compliment even if it didnt sound like it.-
Covet: "I'm pushing through. I'll be okay. I might not feel my feet right now after being in heels all day, but... I'll be okay." She said. "Though if you happened to be so inclined to give me a foot rub tonight. I definitely wouldnt' complain."
Alexithymiaa: "I think I can do that." He smiled, leaning in to give her a kiss on the cheek. "You're going to need to put Connor to bed first. It's one of your necessary duties."-
Covet: "That's fine, because then I can get into something comfortable too. Should I meet you in your room or back out here on the couch?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh..." He paused, turning to look around behind him, considering. "You know what? Meet me back out here on the couch. We can put a movie on to fall asleep to and I'll rub your feet. How does that sound?"-
Covet: "That sounds absolutely amazing." Kelsey said with a grin as she finished up the dishes and went to go get Connor into bed and changed herself so that she could come back out for the foot rubs and the hardcore passing out.
