Dragon Story back up July 27 2018

Age 16, Apruna 20th, 499

   -Night camera hidden in room 4am-

   Suzie is seen on the footage sleeping on her stomach wrapped in a thin sheet while her full grown pet Dog Dragon "Cody" is sleeping on the floor next to her. As an anomaly is detected, at first not looking like much as Cody raises his head and looks over at Suzie. Suzie appears to be vibrating oddly in her torso; the sensitive microphone on the camera is picking up a low rumbling coming from Suzie, infrasonic, too low for human ears, but extremly long ranged.

  -Apruna 20th, 499

   Hazabar Reserve Park,
   Yoriko Report 2pm

   As per the request by my supperiors I have taken Suzie to the Reserve Park first before heading out to the park. I have explained this to her as both a special treat as I managed to pull allowing us to stay in the luxory hut, something normally reserved for high paying visitors or for nature documentaries filming at the park given the frequent visits by our resident dragons. However, and my supperiors may take issue with this decision, it was cleared, as Suzie is 16 now and wants to spend time with her friends and girlfriend especially, we have brought her girlfriend Vicky *last name withheld for declassification privacy purposes* along; as well as bringing Cody (Suzie's pet Dog Dragon) along. Which at this time we have set up in the luxory hut. Although Vicky's parents have shown some concern after the zoo incident, that is in relation to the Mimic Predator, and she has even brought a Mimic Predator repellent amulet with her in the event she was targeted by the still on the loose Mimic Predator. However as a note her parents seemed more at ease when I explained we'd be staying one night at the Reserve Park and then where we'd be in the reserve its self; feeling secure that a Mimic Predator would be apprehensive about approaching a dragon, let alone a family of dragons' territory.

   Right now as I am typing this up Vicky and Suzie are outside by the lake, and...the alert is going off.

  -Internal Main Hut Security Footage-

    The proximity alert is going off warning the patrons of the park that Azulia and Wingy have been spotted flying over the craggy nearby mountains heading towards the park as they often do. In the main hut visitors get up from their tables to get "good spots" by the wooden walkway around the hut as the camo and bio-filter forcefields are activated allowing people to come in and look out. Yoriko Vurda can be seen coming out from the back entrance that leads into the sub-structure of the park as Suzie and her friend Vicky head over to the luxury hut first to drop off Cody as the bio-filter field on the main visitor hut would not be able to allow the Dog Dragon to pass. The video tape has a red mark beside it at 2:25pm with the caption (Anomaly) beside it. As Vicky and Suzie enter the main hut Suzie appears to be experience mild resistance from the bio-filter field, she even pauses upon entering and looks back at it confused before heading over to meet her mother as the three of them go to the food shop to order some drinks (their supplies in the luxory hut are intended for the "camping trip").


    Before too long Azulia and Wingy descend into the park, external cameras observe them playing about the lake, despite having a lake to themselves within the reserve proper the two are still frequent visitors of the park. Vicky walks out to the walkway with Suzie watching as Azulia is sniffing around the grass.

   "Woah," states the teenage girl, "Y'know Suzie I've never actually seen her upclose before. Looks kinda small compared to the one at the zoo don't you think."

   "Yeah a little," states Suzie, "prettier though,"

   "Oh definetly," remarks Vicky.

  After a brief moment Suzie says, "When I was really little my mother took me into the reserve for one of her ecological studies, Its kinda fuzzy but I got a much closer look at her. She was sniffing around the edge of the force field for our camp. Heh, guess we didn't hide ourselves too well."

  "Say Suze," says Vicky, "How do you think one of these got here anyway? I read this type of dragon is usually only found like way east on that island country...um...Gar...or Dar...or something."

   "My mom thinks she came from Stia," says Suzie. Yoriko looks around, there arn't that many other guests, but what Suzie just said likely implies she's overheard Yoriko talking to herself.

   "Really?" says Vicky.

   "Yeah," says Suzie, "I heard her talking about it when I was little, she thinks the Zaru zoo got a cuckoo dragon from a less than reputable guy who supposedly got it from Stia. But when she molted from looking human to dragon;"

   "Oh yeah, they do that," says Vicky, "imagine being all...I am secretly a dragon,"

   Suzie pauses and giggles slightly, "yeah, but according to my mom she ended up looking like a totally different breed of cuckoo dragon, a Violet Flower, but was growing horns which they don't have, so they didn't know she was like this ten times stronger breed of dragon that broke out and migrated north till finding Wingy and settling down in the reserve."

   "Sounds like a movie," says Vicky and both girls laugh.

   "Sorry to eavesdrop," says a female ranger behind them, "But if you'd like I can tell you more about that less than reputable man, he actually came her after Azulia once."

   "Really?" asks Suzie looking between the ranger and her mother who has is heading down the backway.

   "Yep," says the Ranger, "we don't keep that part of the wedding ceremony on the info booth by the trail, not sure if we ever did, but this man; sorry I forget his name; had crashed the wedding ceremony we set up for Azulia and Wingy and attacked Azulia claiming she was the dragon from Zaru zoo. I was there keeping people calm while two others, one of them still works here, the other moved on to a patrol outpost in the eastern part of the reserve I think. Sorry, well anyway, they tackled the man and dragged him back inside right here where we are standing. Freaky thing is, Azulia did in fact yell at the man in Stian. Not sure what she said though. Still freaky, never seen or heard her talk since though."

   An old woman standing nearby states, "I was there too, the dragon threatened to rip the man apart, him and the Stian slave trader that sold her to the Zaru Zoo. Never been back to Zaru Zoo since, can't look at the animals the same way since."

   "Woah!" shouts the ranger as she starts to urge people to step back as Azulia has followed a trail on the ground right to the edge of the bio-filter field.

   "Don't worry people, she can't see us, the bio-filter field will keep her out. But let's try to keep the noise down a little so we don't disturb her."

    "She's totally checking you out," says Vicky holding onto Suzie's arm. Indeed as can be seen by internal and external cameras Azulia's gaze is fixed on Suzie for a few moments as she stands up and spreads her wings putting her claw on the field. She looks up as Wingy is taking off, turns, runs a short distance and takes off after him as well.

   Suzie's brow is furrowed.

   -Note- Later that night Yoriko Vurda makes a note in her log of the incident with a tag on it regarding Suzie and Vicky talking in the luxury hut about that being the second time Suzie remembered Azulia doing that, that it was exactly like the field. Yoriko also notes she wishes she had stayed out there given rewatching the logs and seeing the ranger talking about an incident, that granted she wasn't around herself to see instead of retreating to view the external cameras.

 -Apruna 21st, 3am, 499

  *Tag log on external camera footage of luxury hut*. At aproximitly 3am a stranger could be seen wandering in the park, well after hours, and well after curfew *no external doors to the park can be opened except in the event of an emergency after 11pm* for safety reasons due to nocturnal wild life in the area. The stranger is a woman and coresponding tagged files indicate Yoriko Vurda would upon review days later realize it was the same woman the "Mimic Predator" as Hazabar ecological circles dub them; that had gone after Suzie and Vicky at the Grand Hazabar Zoo. However here she can be seen to be moving slowly, humming to herself as she moves her hand along the Bio-filter barrier around the luxury hut. Security microphones could hear her speaking to herself in the Vormo language; translated
   *Humans, feeling so secure in your little box.*
   -hums and makes a complete circle of the luxury hut-
   *No matter how secure you think you are, there is always a way in*
   She could be seen leaping into the air and onto the room, smiling as unnaturally for a human walks easily along the edges tapping softly with the toes of her shoes at various points. A sudden blue blur however impacts the woman sending them both out of view of the security camera for the main field. Switching to the camera for the fishing dock shows the woman fleeing into the forest as an Azure Lion Cuckoo Dragon is flying off. Rewinding the footage by a few seconds and freeze framing would reveal this was not Azulia; but rather the unknown second with the antler like horns; it does however fly off in the direction of Azulia's nest.

   Upon waking the next day Yoriko is surprised to find the security fields are still up and a message from the park personel; Azulia; unlike her usual pattern is already at the park come sunrise; and behaving in an usual manner.

   It was our intention anyway to head out early to set up camp in the reserve. However we had hoped to walk around the pond a little first; however the security system is up as Azulia has apparently chosen to appear rather early in the day. This behavior is very unusual as reserve records indicate she doesn't normally even get up until the afternoon sun filters into her den; and even then spends a few hours sunning on a rock. This may be an anomaly as she is circling around the park as though searching for something; possibly she detected Suzie yesterday, and might be looking for her. If that is the case the sooner we head out the better, Suzie and her friend are almost ready to go in the main room of the luxury hut. I will mark the security cameras of the park from last night for review when I get the chance.
