9. [sup]| Prime Minister Robert Menzies |[/sup] "My fellow citizens of the Commonwealth of Australia, today marks the beginning of the true development of our beloved motherland, you have chosen us, for you have chosen the greater future that awaits ye all. No more are the days when we shudder to at the thought of a too-socially intervening government that also everything are to be government-related. Though the previous administration may have contributed to the economic development of Australia, there have been holes we seek to fill up. Holes, that when plugged will lead to a greater Australia, that we all shall be enjoying with equity. We cannot sit on stagnation and eventual depression such as in' 39, as we do not want history to repeat itself. In the upcoming months, expect an aggressive push for the government with the liberalization of the ease-to-do-business, the improvement of our national security, and thus the firmness of the power of Australia, of her people."
