[22:45]	Owen[Marina]	sunglasses-looks up at the Pokemon Memorial Tower. This tower is needlessly tall.
[22:50]	Owen[Marina]	always liked the feel of small towns. They don't mind Pokemon in streets and buildings as much.
[22:50]	Aflack	also gazes upon the tower. Surprisingly enough, he isn't giving it the same contemptuous --or at least, irritated-- look as he gives most things.
[22:50]	Aflack	And people.
[22:50]	Aflack	And Pokemon.
[22:51]	Aflack	And selected natural landforms.
[22:52]	Owen[Marina]	gives a contemptuous look at the selected unnatural Pokeball logo on the Pokemon Center.
[22:53]	Owen[Marina]	looks behind her. Is it just the two of them, really...?
[22:53]	Owen[Marina]	"Those girls need to get out more."
[22:56]	Aflack	Not everyone can be a paragon of fitness.
[22:56]	Aflack	It is truly a heavy burden.
[22:58]	Aflack	sighs.
[22:58]	Owen[Marina]	meanders around town. Small towns are much better than not small towns. They don't tell Pokemon to get off their lawn as much.
[22:59]	Owen[Marina]	"You wonder how many of 'em actually have a plan for their future beyond amusement and food?"
[22:59]	Aflack	...what?
[23:00]	Aflack	was looking for places that sold paint. His wooden onion-sword is getting a bit banged up.
[23:01]	Owen[Marina]	"I mean, look at us. Like, us-us, not US-us."
[23:01]	Owen[Marina]	motions to "us" vaguely.
[23:04]	Aflack	stares at Marina.
[23:04]	Owen[Marina]	"Look how hard it was for 'us' to even get a decent meal."
[23:05]	Owen[Marina]	"We're just a bunch-a bums, really."
[23:05]	Owen[Marina]	"And it just makes me wonder who's the real bums and who're just bums by association, ya know?"
[23:06]	Aflack	Have you hit your head, turtle? Or do you always talk like this?
[23:07]	Aflack	Do not count me among the ranks of transients and vagrants.
[23:07]	Owen[Marina]	"Bum by association, then."
[23:07]	Owen[Marina]	nods.
[23:07]	Owen[Marina]	"Gotchya."
[23:08]	Aflack	Nor that.
[23:08]	Owen[Marina]	shrugs.
[23:09]	Owen[Marina]	looks over at the tower again and motions towards it.
[23:09]	Owen[Marina]	"So... how 'bout that tower, eh?"
[23:09]	Aflack	looks up at it again.
[23:10]	Aflack	My father spoke of it when I was but a mere duckling.
[23:11]	[Rut]Skye	's legs dangle over the edge of the top. She's resting her head in her hands, out of view due to the pair's low angle.
[23:11]	Aflack	It seemed like one of humanity's few attempts at honoring us.
[23:11]	Owen[Marina]	sunglasses-glares.
[23:12]	Owen[Marina]	"Honoring us after we're already dead. Woo. Hoo."
[23:12]	Aflack	But not in time for it to count among those that deserve it.
[23:12]	Owen[Marina]	seems quite :| about this.
[23:13]	Owen[Marina]	"Seems about par for the course. Give us respect only when it's easy for them and we can't talk back about it."
[23:16]	[Rut]Skye	's awesome perch is awesome. The air around here's a little dry for her taste, but it's nothing some elbow grease (extra flapping) won't fix. And the sun is well worth it.
[23:17]	Owen[Marina]	grits her teeth.
[23:17]	Owen[Marina]	"...Insult to injury that they'd put it this close..."

[23:21]	Owen[Marina]	gazes over to the east, towards the ocean.

[23:24]	[Rut]Skye	peeks down over the edge of the tower to see Marina and the duck.

[23:25]	Aflack	And so you decided to come here.
[23:26]	Aflack	A positively fantastic plan.
[23:26]	Owen[Marina]	shrugs.

[23:26]	[Rut]Skye	jumps off and circles a few times in her decent, landing nearby.

[23:33]	Owen[Marina]	is either over someone's head, or someone is over hers.
[23:34]	Owen[Marina]	shrugs as well.

[23:38]	[Rut]Skye	Not much on my end. Just trollin' around, wondering when you'd get here. I went on ahead when I saw you start towards Lavender...

[23:42]	Aflack	I am looking for paint.

[23:46]	[Rut]Skye	I'dve come down to chat with you on the way over, I just... forgot how long walking places took.
[23:46]	Aflack	glares at the hand.
[23:46]	Owen[Marina]	sunglasses-glares.
[23:48]	[Rut]Skye	Plan? Hm, well... the fly over was pretty nice. I'll probably survey the land some after we get your paint or whatever.

[23:52]	Owen[Marina]	"Wow. That's some plan."
[23:53]	Aflack	Procurement is the primary obstacle. Lacking funds, I cannot purchase them.

[23:54]	Aflack	And I shall not dishonor my blade by coating it in stolen colors.

[23:54]	Owen[Marina]	reaches into her Shell of Holding and produces some funds that are totally legit. Remember those funds? They still exist, yeah.

[23:56]	Owen[Marina]	"They're even from free enterprise and all that crap."

[23:58]	Aflack	If you should see any tigworts, twig-beetles, skeeks, or any such insect, notify me.

[00:18]	Aflack	is already half a block away.

[00:20]	Owen[Marina]	follows Aflack for no real reason.
