(ずっと、誰かが守ってくれてたんだ…)
Kaminagi: (Someone said they would protect me...)

「オスカーを破壊したことで、
ハーザがこの世界で予知した問題は
解決したと思っていいのかしら?」
Four: Do you think we resolved the crisis Haza predicted by destroying Oscar?

甲児
「さあな。
ハーザももうちょい具体的に
教えてくれりゃいいのによ」
Koji: Heck if I know. It’d sure help if Haza was a little more specific with her instructions.

十三
「連絡係にも問題があるんとちゃうんか」
Juzo: Maybe the problem’s with the guy on the receiving end of the call.

メグ
「それって、ディドのこと?」
Meg: Do you mean Dido?

ディド
「俺はハーザから言われたことを
そのままブライト艦長に伝えているつもりだが」
Dido: I’ve been relaying Haza’s messages to Captain Bright exactly as she says them to me.

「せやけど、聞きたいことがあっても
向こうに話し掛けられへんやろ。
そこがもどかしいわ」
Juzo: Yeah, I know, it just sucks we can’t ask her nothin’. It’s downright infuriating.

ディド
「同感だ」
Dido: I agree.

シオン
「何にせよ、俺達は
まだこの世界にいなきゃならないのか…」
Shion: Whatever it was, it seems we’re still stuck in this world for now...

(Gai enters with Chris.)

凱
「…こっちです。
パイロットのみんなは、
ここにいることが多いですね」
Gai: ...And here we are. A lot of the pilots usually hang out here.

クリス
「ああ、見知った顔が何人かいるようだな」
Chris: Yeah, I spot a few familiar faces here.

凱
「クリス…!」
Guy: Chris...!

フォウ
「どうして、あなたが…」
Four: What are you doing here...?

クリス
「ホログラフィーの投影範囲内なら、
こうして君達の艦にだって来ることも出来る」
Chris: Well, your ship’s close enough that we can project holograms inside it.

クリス
「無論、ブライト大佐達には許可をもらっている。
オスカー殲滅作戦の時には色々世話になったから、
改めてお礼を言いに来たのさ」
Chris: So I figured I’d come say thanks for saving my ass in the Oscar Annihilation Operation. Oh and, naturally, I got Captain Bright’s permission for this.

凱
「礼なんていいさ。
それより、アークのことは気の毒だった…」
Guy: You’re very welcome. And I’m terribly sorry for what happened to Arque...

クリス
「もう大丈夫さ。
俺が今、こうしてここにいることが
彼女の遺言みたいなものなのだから」
Chris: I’m alright now. And me sticking around is pretty much her last request after all.

クリス
「それに、フリスベルグのウィザードは
メイイェンが務めてくれることになった。
これからも戦っていくさ」
Chris: Besides, I’ve got May-Yen to serve as Hraesvelg’s [Wizard] now, so I can still keep on fighting.

凱
「そうか…」
Guy: I see...

シルキー
「…ねえ、シオン。
幻体って、私達の世界にいたショット・ウェポンと
同じような感じなのかしら?」
Silkie: ...Say, Shion. Don’t these [Meta-Bodies] give the same impression the Shot Weapon from our world does?

シオン
「あいつは亡霊みたいな物だろ。
一緒にしちゃ悪いよ」
Shion: He’s more like a ghost, I think. We probably shouldn’t lump them in together.

クリス
「亡霊、ね。
まあ、今の俺達はそうだと言えるかもな」
Chris: A ghost, huh. Well, I guess you could say that’s what we are.

甲児
「それで…ガルズオルムの様子はどうなんだ?」
Koji: By the way... How do things look with the GARDS-ORM?

クリス
「今の所、動きはない。
ただ、他に気になることがあってな…」
Chris: So far, they haven’t made a move. But right now, we have our attention elsewhere...

クリス
「今、舞浜サーバーでは、
セレブラント狩りが始まっているのさ」
Chris: There’s a Celebrant hunt about to start in the Maihama Server.


オケアノスブリーフィングルーム
Oceanus – Briefing Room


キョウ
「この映像…うちの高校の視聴覚室か?
じゃあ、ここに集められてる生徒が
[セレブラント]候補者だって言うのかよ?」
Kyo: Is that...my school’s AV room on the screen? And you’re saying everyone there is a possible [Celebrant]?

シズノ
「ええ。
私達はこうやって覚醒する兆しがある人物を集めて、
戦力となり得る幻体データを探しているの」
Shizuno: Yes. This is where we gather people that show signs of awakening, in the hopes of adding more Meta-Bodies to our cause and furthering our fighting strength.

ミナト
「ただ、ここまで多いのは珍しいわ。
今年は豊作ね」
Minato: Although there’s usually not so many. We’ve got a bumper crop this year.

キョウ
(…カミナギの姿はねえ。
候補者じゃねえってことなのか…?
けど、あの時、あいつには…)
Kyo: (...I don’t see Kaminagi there. So she’s not a candidate...? But, earlier, she had...)

キョウ
「ん?あれ、ハヤセとトミガイじゃねえか…!」
Kyo: Hm? Wait, that’s Hayase and Tomigai...!

メイウー
「知り合いなの?」
May-Yu: You know them?

キョウ
「ああ。二人共、中学の頃からの友達だ。
あいつら、何を見ているんだ?」
Kyo: Yeah. I’ve been friends with both of them since about middle school. What are you showing them?

ルーシェン
「君の戦闘時の幻体データを数列で表した物だよ」
Lu-Shen: They’re being shown your Meta-Body data during combat as a raw mathematical progression.

キョウ
「そんなのを見せたって、意味不明だろうが」
Kyo: There’s no way they’re going to be able to make sense of stuff like that.

トミガイ
「ん?あれって…」
Tomigai: Hm? Is that...?

ハヤセ
「キョウだ…!」
Hayase: It’s Kyo...!

キョウ
「数列が俺だって気が付いたのか…?」
Kyo: Wait, they can actually tell it’s me...?

シズノ
「そうみたいね」
Shizuno: It appears so.

キョウ
「じゃあ、あの二人もセレブラントなのか!?」
Kyo: So those two are Celebrants!?

シマ
「…覚醒の程度は、せいぜいブリッジ要員レベルだな。
キョウであることはわかっても、
戦闘時のデータだとは読み解けていない」
Shima: ...Their level of awakening is, at most, fit for bridge personnel. While they are able to determine that it is indeed Kyo, they cannot decipher that it is combat data.

シマ
「今、我々が欲しいのはブリッジ要員ではない。
キープだ」
Shima: At present, we do not require additional bridge personnel. Keep them in reserve.

キョウ
「キープって、何だよ…!」
Kyo: What do you mean by that...!?

シマ
「めぼしいのはあの二人ぐらいか。
念のために他の者達の解析と処理は任せる」
Shima: Those two look to be the only ones of note. But analyze the others just to be sure, and handle them appropriately.

(Shima leaves.)

キョウ
「おい、シカトかよ…!?」
Kyo: Hey, are you ignoring me...!?

クロシオ
「舞浜サーバーの幻体達…僕らにとっては
守るべき存在なのに、戦闘に参加させようなんて
矛盾してると思う?」
Kuroshio: The Maihama Meta-Bodies... They’re the ones we’re supposed to be protecting, but here we are dragging them into the fight. Doesn’t that seem contradictory?

キョウ
「大いにな!」
Kyo: Yeah, and a big one too!

クロシオ
「…だろうね」
Kuroshio: ...I suppose.

イリエ
「しかし、ここから真のセレブラントに
成熟してくれる者は少ないわ…」
Irie: Still, probably only a few of the ones here will mature into true Celebrants...

イリエ
「リセットがかかるまでに育たないと、
また一からやり直しになる」
Irie: And if they don’t do that before the reset, then they’ll have to start from square one again.

シズノ
「…!」
Shizuno: ...!

キョウ
「リセット?何のこっちゃ」
Kyo: Reset? Not sure I follow...

キョウ
「けど、覚醒しただけじゃ、
セレブラントにはならないってことだよな。
成熟する確率も低い…」
Kyo: But basically, just because someone awakened doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll become a Celebrant. And the chances of growing into one are low on top of that...

ルーシェン
「ああ、君のガールフレンドが
そうだと決まったわけではない」
Lu-Shen: Indeed, meaning we still can’t be sure if your girlfriend is one or not.

キョウ
「ガルズオルムと戦っていくのに
新しいパイロットを掘り出したいのはわかる…。
けど、勘弁してくれよ…カミナギだけは」
Kyo: I know you guys need to find new pilots to fight the GARDS-ORM... But please... Just don’t let it be Kaminagi.

キョウ
「あいつは俺が守るって決めたんだ…」
Kyo: I decided that I would protect her...

シズノ
「…彼女は守られる存在?」
Shizuno: ...So she’s someone that you want to protect?

キョウ
「ああ」
Kyo: Yeah.

シズノ
「いいわね…」
Shizuno: That’s fine, but...

キョウ
「えっ?」
Kyo: Huh?

シズノ
「でも、それを決めるのはあなたじゃないわ」
Shizuno: Just remember; that decision isn’t one for you to make.

(Shizuno leaves.)

キョウ
「何だよ、それ…」
Kyo: What was that about...?

ルーシェン
「………」
Lu-Shen: ...

弁慶
「セレブラント狩りか…。
名前は物騒だが、やっていることは
幻体が覚醒するか否かの博打とはな…」
Benkei: Celebrant hunting, huh... The name makes it sound bad, but they’re really just pinning their hopes on Meta-Bodies awakening...

ミサト
「該当者がいなければ、
戦力の補充もままならないまま…」
Misato: If they don’t have anyone qualified, then they have no way to replenish their ranks...

ミサト
「そうなると、ガルズオルムの圧倒的戦力の前には
ジリ貧もいいところですね」
Misato: And that makes for a pretty poor situation with the GARDS-ORM’s overwhelming forces to contend with.

アムロ
「こんな状況じゃ、
新天地を探そうとするのも無理はないな」
Amuro: Considering the situation, it’s no wonder they’re trying to find a new world to live in.

ブライト
「ああ…シマ司令は以後も
我々と行動を共にすると言っている」
Bright: Yes... That’s why Commander Shima said he would continue to work with us after this.

アムロ
「で、この後はどうする?
ハーザからの連絡を待つのか?」
Amuro: So, what do we do now? Wait for Haza to contact us?

ブライト
「それがいつになるかわからんからな。
当初考えていた通り、我々の世界へ戻ろうと
思っている。岡司令に話をしなければならんしな」
Bright: Unfortunately, we have no idea when that might next happen. I intend to follow our original objective and return to our world. It’s about time to speak with Commander Oka about what’s happened.

ミサト
「この世界には[第3新東京市]の上空に
繋がるゲートがありましたね」
Misato: There should be a Gate in this world that leads back to [Tokyo-3].

弁慶
「だが、そこはガルズオルムに
抑えられているはず…」
Benkei: But the GARDS-ORM probably have it locked down by now...

ブライト
「シマ司令によると、現状のゲートは
厳重に防衛されているわけではないらしい。
だから、強行突破する」
Bright: As Commander Shima tells me, the Gate’s defenses are thin for the moment. So we plan to force our way through.

アムロ
「…ガルズオルムのガードは
堅くなっていると思っていたが」
Amuro: ...You’d think the GARDS-ORM would have heavier defenses in place.

弁慶
「ああ、かえって気になるな」
Benkei: Yeah, this just makes it more concerning.

ミサト
「彼らはゲートの向こう側…
つまり、我々の世界に侵攻していません。
その理由も気掛かりですね」
Misato: It’s odd that they haven’t gone through the Gate and invaded our world yet... I have to wonder why that is.

弁慶
「出先に[NERV]があるから、だったりしてな」
Benkei: Maybe it has something to do with [NERV] being on the other end of that Gate.

ミサト
「………」
Misato: ...

アムロ
「それで…すぐにゲートへ向かうのか?」
Amuro: So... Do we head for the Gate now?

ブライト
「いや。
有力なパイロットが覚醒する可能性があるので、
それまで待って欲しいと言われている」
Bright: Not yet. We’ve been asked to wait due to the possibility of a potential pilot awakening.


舞浜公園
Maihama – Park


キョウ
「ったく、急に遊びに行こうとか。
強引過ぎんだろ、流れが」
Kyo: You know, you really came out of left field when you suddenly said you wanted to go out. I might even say you were a bit too pushy about it.

カミナギ
「いいじゃん。
私がデートに行きたいなって思ったの」
Kaminagi: Relax. I just thought it’d be nice to go on a date with you.

キョウ
「デートって…今日はどうしたんだよ?」
Kyo: A date, huh... Okay, but, why today?

カミナギ
「細かいことは気にしないの。
さ、ドライブに行こ」
Kaminagi: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Come on, let’s go for a ride.

カミナギ
「あ、せっかくだから、
私がバイクを運転してもいいかな?」
Kaminagi: Oh, now that I think about it, are you cool with me driving the bike?

キョウ
「お前、免許持ってたっけか?」
Kyo: Do you even have a license?

カミナギ
「だから、細かいことはいいの。
誰も私達のことなんか見てないって」
Kaminagi: I just said don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s not like anyone’s gonna know.

キョウ
「やっぱ、今日のお前、ちょっと変だぜ」
Kyo: Man, you really are acting strange today.

カミナギ
「…ねえ、キョウちゃん、
私、この街の端っこに行ってみたいな」
Kaminagi: ...Alright, Kyo. I wanna go to the edge of the town.

カミナギ
「途中まで道路が作られてる所があったでしょ?
そこまで行かない?」
Kaminagi: How about the highway they only finished halfway? Can we go up till there?

キョウ
「………」
Kyo: ...

カミナギ
「嫌だ?」
Kaminagi: Don’t wanna?

キョウ
「嫌じゃねえよ。むしろ…」
Kyo: It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just...

カミナギ
「…何?」
Kaminagi: ...What?

キョウ
「言わせんな!
でも、運転すんのは俺だからな」
Kyo: I’m not saying! But I’m gonna be the one to drive.

カミナギ
「ありがと、キョウちゃん。
やっぱり私は後ろがいいから…」
Kaminagi: Thanks, Kyo. You know, I think I’d rather be behind you anyways...

キョウ
「………」
Kyo: ...


(Scene changes to a half finished highway at the edge of the city.)


カミナギ
「…すっかり日が暮れちゃったね」
Kaminagi: ...The sun’s already coming down.

キョウ
「そうだな…」
Kyo: Looks like it...

カミナギ
「ここが私達の住む世界の端っこ…。
これ以上は行けないんだよね?」
Kaminagi: So this is the edge of the world we live in... It’s not even possible to go any further than this, is it?

キョウ
「…!」
Kyo: ...!

カミナギ
「だって、この世界には舞浜しかないんだから…」
Kaminagi: Because, Maihama is the only thing that exists in this world...

キョウ
「カミナギ…お前、やっぱり…」
Kyo: Kaminagi... You already...?

カミナギ
「………」
Kaminagi: ...

(A Celebrant symbol appears on Kaminagi’s forehead.)

カミナギ
「これ、出せるようになっちゃった」
Kaminagi: I think I can get this off my chest now.

キョウ
「カミナギ、その…」
Kyo: Kaminagi, that’s...

カミナギ
「ね、キョウちゃん。
あっちの世界は多分、PAIN OF ZEGAの
ゲーム通りになってるんだよね?」
Kaminagi: So, Kyo. The world over there is a lot like the one in that PAIN OF ZEGA game, right?

キョウ
「…ああ」
Kyo: ...Yeah.

キョウ
「でも、あっち側じゃ海も越えられる。
その海がやけに綺麗なんだ」
Kyo: But, we can cross over to the ocean on that side. The sea’s more beautiful than you could believe.

カミナギ
「一緒に見たいな…。
見せてよ、キョウちゃん。
ホントの世界」
Kaminagi: I want to see it with you... Show it to me, Kyo. Show me the real world.

キョウ
「でもな…こっちの世界の連中だって、
みんな生きてるんだぜ」
Kyo: But, you know... Everyone in this world is still alive.

カミナギ
「わかってるよ。
こっちにいるみんなだって、生きてるってこと」
Kaminagi: I know that. Everyone that’s here on this side is alive too.

キョウ
「うん」
Kyo: Yeah.

カミナギ
「ミズキも、コウジも、トミガイ君も…
キョウちゃんも、みんな生きてるって思う」
Kaminagi: Mizuki, Koji, Tomigai... And I think you and everyone else really are alive.

カミナギ
「でも…でも、やっぱり違うって知った時、感じた時、
すごく悲しかった。辛かった」
Kaminagi: But... But there were times I realized there was something wrong with this world. And it was so hard to take in. So sad.

キョウ
「俺もさ」
Kyo: I know what you mean.

カミナギ
「…寂しかった。心細かった」
Kaminagi: ...I felt alone. Utterly helpless.

キョウ
「………」
Kyo: ...

カミナギ
「一緒にいちゃ…嫌だ?」
Kaminagi: You...don’t want to take me with you?

キョウ
「嫌じゃねえよ。むしろ…」
Kyo: I didn’t say that. It’s just...

カミナギ
「むしろ?」
Kaminagi: Just what?

キョウ
「だから言わせんなっての」
Kyo: I’m not saying it this time.

カミナギ
「うん…」
Kaminagi: Okay...

「…カミナギ・リョーコの
シミュレーター訓練の最終結果、出たわね…」
Irie: ...We have the results of Ryoko Kaminagi’s simulator training...

クロシオ
「パイロット候補者が
増えればとは思っていたけれど、
これは…」
Kuroshio: We were hoping for additional pilot candidates, but this is...

シズノ
「………」
Shizuno: ...

クリス
「…当の本人達が戻って来たみたいだな」
Chris: ...Speak of the devil.

(Kyo and Kaminagi approach.)

キョウ
「何だ、全員揃ってんのか?」
Kyo: What’re all you guys doing here?

カミナギ
「みんな、見てたんですか?
その…どうでした?ウィザードとしての私…」
Kaminagi: What are you all looking at? Wait... What is this? It says I’m a Wizard...

ミナト
「結果は優秀。
正式にセレブラントの一員として
あなたを迎え入れることが決定したわ」
Minato: Your results were exceptional. That’s why we’ve decided to officially welcome you as a member of the Celebrants.

カミナギ
「ホントですか!?」
Kaminagi: Really!?

キョウ
「ま、あの結果なら、当然だろうな」
Kyo: Well you could kind of see it coming when you had results that good.

カミナギ
「良かった。
これからよろしくお願いします!」
Kaminagi: That’s a load off... I look forward to working with you all!

ルーシェン
「ああ、こちらこそよろしく頼む」
Lu-Shen: Right, same goes for us.

メイウー
「正式なセレブラントになったからって、
ルーシェンのリアシートは譲らないわよ」
May-Yu: Just because you’re officially a Celebrant now doesn’t mean I’m ever giving up my position as Lu-Shen’s backseat pilot.

メイイェン
「お、お姉ちゃん…」
May-Yen: M-May-Yu...

カミナギ
「あはは、そんなに心配しなくても大丈夫だよ」
Kaminagi: Ahaha, you really don’t have to worry about that.

(Shizuno approaches.)

カミナギ
「あ、シズノ先輩!戻ってたんですね!
さっきは挨拶が出来なくて…」
Kaminagi: Ah, Shizuno! You’re back! I never got the chance to say hello before...

シズノ
「ごめんなさいね。
タイミング悪くブリッジを離れていたから…」
Shizuno: Sorry about that. I guess it was bad timing that I was away from the bridge...

カミナギ
「そんな、気にしないで下さい!
シズノ先輩もセレブラントだって聞かされた時、
私、ちょっと心強かったです!」
Kaminagi: Oh, no, don’t worry about it! I was just seriously relieved when I heard that you were a Celebrant too!

カミナギ
「これからは一緒に戦っていく仲間として、
よろしくお願いしますね!」
Kaminagi: I look forward to fighting together as comrades from now on!

シズノ
「…ええ、頑張っていきましょう」
Shizuno: ...Yes, let’s both do our best.

シマ
「カミナギ・リョーコ。
先程のシミュレーターの結果から、
君にはウィッチの素質があることがわかった」
Shima: Ryoko Kaminagi. Judging from the results of the simulator earlier, we have determined that you have the qualifications of a Witch.

カミナギ
「ウィッチ…?」
Kaminagi: A Witch...?

キョウ
「何じゃ、そりゃ?
カミナギは魔女からは程遠いぜ?」
Kyo: What’s that supposed to mean? Kaminagi couldn’t be further from an old woman on a broomstick.

ルーシェン
「稀にガンナーと以心伝心、
データリンク出来る特殊なウィザードが現れる。
ガンナーはそれを[ウィッチ]と呼ぶんだ」
Lu-Shen: On rare occasions, there are Wizards who are able to establish telepathic links to their Gunners. Gunners refer to them as [Witches].

ルーシェン
「シミュレーターでも、
彼女は何度も君の指示を先読みしていただろう?
つまり、優秀なウィザードだということだ」
Lu-Shen: Just how many times did she anticipate your instructions in the simulator? It goes without saying that she’s a superb Wizard.

カミナギ
「以心伝心…
あはは、なんかちょっと恥ずかしいな」
Kaminagi: Telepathy...? Ahaha, that’s a little embarrassing.

シズノ
「………」
Shizuno: ...

シマ
「シミュレーターは卒業だな。
早速だが、訓練も兼ねて二人には
偵察任務に出てもらう」
Shima: You’ve graduated from the simulator. You’ll be sent on a reconnaissance mission to serve as live training as soon as possible.

キョウ
「いきなりかよ!?
さすがにもうちょっとシミュレーターで
訓練を積んでから…」
Kyo: Just like that!? Doesn’t it make more sense to rack up some more training in the simulator for a while...?

シマ
「偵察にはラー・カイラムから
ユニコーンとマジンガーZも出ることになっている」
Shima: The Unicorn and Mazinger Z will both be launching from the Ra Cailum to assist with the reconnaissance.

キョウ
「そういうことなら、まあ…」
Kyo: Well, I mean if that’s the case...

カミナギ
「初めての出撃…
よろしくね、キョウちゃん」
Kaminagi: My first sortie... Let’s give it all we got, Kyo.

キョウ
「ああ。あんまり張り切りすぎるなよ?」
Kyo: Right. You’re really fired up about this, huh?

カミナギ
「キョウちゃんもね」
Kaminagi: Well so are you, Kyo.

(Kyo and Kaminagi leave.)

ルーシェン
「…いいのか?」
Lu-Shen: ...Are you alright with this?

シズノ
「ええ。
だって、もう彼からお願いされていたことだもの」
Shizuno: Yes. He already asked me that beforehand.

ルーシェン
「そうか…」
Lu-Shen: I see...

シズノ
(キスで魔法が解けるのは…童話の中だけか…)
Shizuno: (So the only time a kiss breaks a spell...is in fairy tales...)

Episode 67
A New Wizard


(Scene begins on the map screen of an island. Kyo and Kaminagi, Koji, and Banagher are all deployed.)

カミナギ
「うわー、海!
これが本物の海なんだね!
あーあ、カメラ持ってくれば良かったなぁ」
Kaminagi: Whoa, it’s the sea! This is the real ocean! Oh, I wish I had my camera with me!

キョウ
「あのな…」
Kyo: Settle down...

甲児
「ま、いいんじゃねえか」
Koji: C’mon, it’s fine, isn’t it?

キョウ
「…悪いな、緊張感のない奴でよ」
Kyo: ...Yeah, sorry. I’m just being a worrywart.

バナージ
「気にしなくていいさ。
そうやって素直に感じるのは
悪いことじゃないと思う」
Banagher: Don’t worry about it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being honest about your feelings.

甲児
「よろしく頼むぜ、カミナギ」
Koji: Lookin’ forward to working with you, Kaminagi.

カミナギ
「こちらこそ!
皆さんの役に立てるよう精一杯頑張ります!」
Kaminagi: Same here! I’ll do the best I can to be useful to everyone!

(Kaminagi detects something.)

カミナギ
「!レーダーに反応!
ガルズオルムの部隊がこっちに向かってる!」
Kaminagi: ! The radar’s picked up something! A GARDS-ORM squad is coming this way!

キョウ
「何!?」

Koji: Kyo, you head back to the Oceanus! We don’t want Kaminagi ending up in a real battle!

キョウ
「そうだな、悪いが…」
Kyo: Right, sorry about—

カミナギ
「キョウちゃん、私なら大丈夫」
Kaminagi: I’ll be fine, Kyo.

キョウ
「カミナギ…」
Kyo: Kaminagi...

カミナギ
「決めたんだもん。怖くないよ、私」
Kaminagi: I’ve made up my mind. I’m not afraid.

Kyo: ...Alright!

「俺達もこのまま戦うぜ!
止めたって、聞かねえからな!」
Kyo: We’re gonna fight too! Even if you tell us not to, we aren’t gonna listen!

Koji: Fine by me, just don’t do anything crazy!

カミナギを絶対守ってやるって!)
Kyo: (I’ve made up my mind too. To protect Kaminagi no matter what!)

Kyo: Don’t worry about that now! Focus on what’s in front of us!

Kaminagi: R-Right!

(Battle 1 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

「へっ、どうだ!」
Kyo: Heh, how was that!?

カミナギ
「やったね、キョウちゃん!」
Kaminagi: We did it, Kyo!

「初めての実戦なのに、
あの二人、息がピッタリだ…」
Banagher: It’s only their first battle, but those two were totally in synch...

Koji: Guess that’s because Kaminagi’s a Witch.

(Kaminagi detects something.)

「次の敵が来る!
けど、この反応って…!」
Kaminagi: More enemies approaching! But, this reading is...!

(Abyss, Sin, and more GARDS-ORM mechs appear.)

「あれは…!」
Kyo: That’s...!

「アビスとシン!?」
Kyo: Abyss and Sin!?

甲児
「おい、あいつらって
オスカーで倒したんじゃないのか!?」
Koji: Hey, what gives!? Weren’t those two defeated back at Oscar!?

キョウ
「そのはずだけどよ!」
Kyo: They should have been, yeah!

甲児
「データのバックアップがあったってことか!?
キョウ、お前らは下がれ!」
Koji: Does that mean they have their data backed up!? Kyo, you two fall back!

キョウ
「馬鹿野郎!
そんなことをしたら、お前らがピンチだろうが!」
Kyo: Not happening! You’d be the ones in trouble if we did that!

バナージ
「でも、カミナギは…!」
Banagher: But, what about Kaminagi...!?

カミナギ
「私のことなら、心配しないで下さい!
ここに座ると決めた以上、覚悟は出来ています!」
Kaminagi: Please don’t worry about me! I’ve decided to take this seat and do what I have to from here on!

甲児
「後悔すんなよ…!」
Koji: Just don’t regret it later...!

キョウ
「そんなのするぐれえなら、始めから言うかよ!」
Kyo: If we weren’t ready for this, we wouldn’t have said it to start with!

キョウ
(…けど、状況がヤベえのは事実だ。
最悪、カミナギは強制的に転送させて、後は…)
Kyo: (...But, it’s true this is a tough spot. In the worst case, Kaminagi would have to be forced to transfer, and then...)

(Battle 2 begins.)

Kyo: (Damn, I should have known this would happen...! Once Kaminagi transfers, I’ll use Banishment Mode to—)

「私だけ逃がそうなんてしたら、怒るよ」
Kaminagi: I’d be really angry if I was the only one to escape, you know.

「カミナギ…!」
Kyo: Kaminagi...!

キョウ
(ウィッチだから?
いや、違う…カミナギだから、か)
Kyo: (Is this because she’s a Witch? No, that’s not it... It’s because she’s Kaminagi.)

「ここにいる全員で、一緒に生きて帰るの!」
Kaminagi: Everyone here’s coming back alive!

「バナージ、ラー・カイラムとオケアノスは
あとどれぐらいで来るんだ!?」
Koji: Banagher, how long till the Ra Cailum and the Oceanus get here!?

バナージ
「3分ぐらいだ!」
Banagher: About 3 minutes!

甲児
「だったら、何とか凌ぐしかねえか…!」
Koji: Then we’re just gonna have to tough it out...!

(Koji receives a transmission.)

「!オケアノスから…」
Koji: ! It’s from the Oceanus...

シマ
「甲児、そちらの状況は把握している。
バナージと共にアビスとシンのコブラルを
引き付け、一箇所にまとめることは出来るか?」
Shima: We’re aware of the situation, Koji. Are you and Banagher able to distract Abyss and Sin’s Cobrals and lure them to a specified spot?

甲児
「やれと言われりゃやるが、
それで片が付くってのかよ!?」
Koji: If that’s what you’re asking us to do, then we’ll do it, but is that all you want us to do!?

シマ
「ああ。後はアルティールが仕留める」
Shima: Yes. Altair will be the one to claim the kill.

キョウ
「俺達が?」
Kyo: We will?

シマ
「今から新兵器『ホロボルト』のデータを
そちらに送る。それで敵を撃破しろ」
Shima: We’re sending you the data on our latest weapon, the “Holobolt”. Use it to annihilate the enemy.

カミナギ
「データ受信!
ホロボルト・プレッシャー?」
Kaminagi: Data received! It’s called the Holobolt Pressure, huh?

カミナギ
「確かに、これならあの2機を撃破できる…!
でも、今のQL残量じゃ、使えるのは1回だけ…!」
Kaminagi: This will definitely be enough to destroy those two...! But, with what little QL we have left, we can only manage to use it once...!

キョウ
「やるしかねえか…!」
Kyo: Then we better not screw it up...!

キョウ
「甲児、バナージ、頼む!」
Kyo: Koji, Banagher, we’re counting on you!

甲児
「ああ、仕上げは任せるぞ!」
Koji: Right, and we’ll leave it to you to finish up!

(Banagher moves next to Sin.)

バナージ
「シンのコブラルは俺が!」
Banagher: I’ll handle Sin’s Cobral!

シン
「…!」
Sin: ...!

(Banagher knocks Sin to a certain spot on the map.)

「うおおおおっ!」
Koji: HRAAAAGH!

(Koji moves to Abyss.)

「…!」
Abyss: ...!

(Koji knocks Abyss next to Sin.)

カミナギ
「今だ!キョウちゃん!」
Kaminagi: Now! Kyo!

キョウ
「行くぜぇ!!」
Kyo: Let’s do this!!

(Kyo moves to Abyss and Sin and a battle animation begins. Kyo uses Holobolt Pressure on Abyss and Sin.)

カミナギ
「チャンスは一回。ありったけのQLをアイツにぶつけて!」
Kaminagi: This is our one chance. Hit them with all the QL we have left!

キョウ
「任せろ!ホロボルトプレッシャー!」
Kyo: I got this! Holobolt Pressure!

アビス
「………」
Abyss: ...

(Battle animation ends. Abyss and Sin are both destroyed.)

キョウ
「電池切れか…。
けど、アビスとシン…やってやったぜ…」
Kyo: We’re out of juice... But Abyss and Sin...are done for...

甲児
「へっ、約束通り決めたじゃねえか」
Koji: Heh, you guys had just as much resolve as you made it sound.

バナージ
「何とか切り抜けられたか…」
Banagher: We made it through somehow...

キョウ
「大したもんだぜ、カミナギ」
Kyo: Couldn’t have done this without you, Kaminagi.

カミナギ
「キョウちゃんもね」
Kaminagi: That goes for you too, Kyo.

キョウ
「バナージと甲児もサンキューな。
助かったぜ」
Kyo: Banagher, Koji, I gotta thank you guys too. You really helped us out there.

甲児
「いいってことよ」
Koji: Ah, it’s no biggie.

(Banagher receives a notification.)

帰艦しよう」
Banagher: ...The Ra Cailum and the Oceanus are here. Let’s return to our ship.
