Background:
Seomi grew up in a humble family in Singapore but later moved to Incheon, Korea to stay with their Aunt. She used to work part time at her father's cafe Sindy Café during her middle school days, before being accepted at School of Performing Arts Seoul. She entered a year after her older brother and majored in singing. She always had a love for singing since young and had dreamt to be an idol one day. She's also good friends with IOI Nayoung and Seventeen's DK, since she used to be Pledis Entertainment for a year and was classmates with DK.

She's really shy at first but once she gets to know someone, she'll open up and show what's inside her mind. She can be pretty hyper at times especially when dancing (she can't dance very well but is very good at ugly dancing^~^).
