  13. The JailBreakHub team is proud to announce the launch of our project. We came together with a shared vision; a group of individuals with their own sets of knowledge and experience all working toward the same goals could benefit the community. Alone, we are all separate members of but as a whole we can offer something of value.

  15. The core staff has over 10 years of combined experience in jailbreaking our own devices and helping others online and in person. There are developers, designers, bloggers, and podcasters who have all been involved in the community since at least iOS 4. Many of us have beta tested several dozen tweaks over the course of the years.

  17. We're launching a website that will function as a source of news, tutorials, reviews, and explainers curated by your fellow redditors. We have also created a forum for people who can't or don't want to use reddit for whatever reason. Developers can also host on our repository if they'd like. Our YouTube channel will focus on tutorials and news as well as taking requests from the community with what kind of videos they'd like to see. JailCast will be joining us as well to provide podcast content with the help of the team. We will offer end user support across our entire platform as well as Twitter, Facebook and Discord.

  19. We hope to benefit the larger community outside of reddit while complimenting the sub as well. A lot of us are hardcore redditors and spend way too much time here, we don't want it to go anywhere fast. But at the same time, while it's a great site in its many ways it does have its own issues and potential future considerations as well.

  21. For instance, reddit is owned by [Advance Publications](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance_Publications) who has over 20,000 employees. Who's to say that they have the communities best interests at heart? Or if they are acquired by another company who does god knows what. What if Spez is editing comments here? ;P

  23. A Jailbreak community site ideally should be owned and operated by jailbreakers. There are indeed some of these and they are great, JailbreakQA, iPhoneDevWiki and ModMyi forums to name the a few. But these are all separately operated by different teams with different goals. We believe that a unified end user experience would be a better solution, so here we are putting our money where our mouth is, so to speak.

  27. Our mission is to deliver clickbait free content that is informative, thoughtful, and engaging in a friendly environment. With a passion for advertising ethics we will do our best to have as minimal advertisements as possible. We will also offer support to users and detailed beta testing for developers.

  33. The community is already fractured in some ways although not as much as it was in the past before Saurik cleaned house (thank you sir). Our team is dedicated to this community, we will work against the fracturing and attempt to build bridges between the sectors.

  35. We are not opposed to working with existing sites and moderator teams to ensure cross pollination of ideas and support. It would only make sense to collaborate.

  39. We are all incredibly passionate jailbreakers like you guys. Our team will be a growing, living, breathing thing. The structure we are setting up should be flexible enough to maneuver through the twists and turns the community takes.

I also have a hard time choosing what I want to pursue :D. I have been jailbreaking since iOS 5 and am glad to have helped make this project come together.
