  1. >He had been the only human ever to be kind to you.
  2. >You feel a twinge of pain, and possible guilt.
  3. >You miss your friends so much..
  4. >He had kept you company, probably keeping you from insanity, even when you threatened him to stop.
  5. >He had never wanted anything bad to happen to you.
  6. >So why can't you return the kindness?
  7. >Were you even capable of kindness anymore?
  8. >You had felt a connection with him, ever since the last time you woke up.
  9. >What had happened?
  10. >Did he finally get to you?
  11. >You had felt the bond strengthen everytime he spoke to you.
  12. >You couldn't go back to sleep, scared that with the bond now there, you would be missing part of yourself in slumber.
  13. >And then he came over.
  14. >You felt your fear diminishing, his touch making it vanish.
  15. >You felt whole again, as if a piece that had been missing from you has been put back.
  16. >You could rest easy now..
  17.
  18.
  19.
  20. >You feel something underneath you.
  21. >The floor was rising and falling slowly and steadily, even beatings coming from it.
  22. >You lift your head.
  23. >It wasn't the ground. The ground was harder than that.
  24. >What you see shocks you.
  25. >Aanon was sleeping right next to you.
  26. >Your head was resting on his chest, your arms wrapped around him.
  27. >He had slept with you the entire night.
  28. >You were going to kill him.
  29. >Wait.. You were on top of him..
  30. >What did you do last night?
  31. >Memories of the dream come back to you.
  32. >No.. that can't be..
  33. >You take your arms off of him in disgust. You can't believe your own subconsious would stoop to such levels.
  34. >There was no way Aanon would ever know about this.
  35. >The breakfast was here. You get up and go over to the awaiting tray.
  36. >There wasn't any bags. Only water, the pills, and.. a platter.
  37. >You lift the lid, and widen your eyes in shock.
  38. >There was a meal on the tray, all of the candies and sweets that you have longed for, right in front of you. And on the other side.. meat, and some kind of white fluffy paste.
  39. >Meat? Disgusting. It had to be for Aanon.
  40. >You had learned the omnivorous ways of humans. They required more protein than you. But to get it this way was just.. horrible.
  41. >You eat your side in seconds. There was a note at the bottom.
  42. "We noticed that both of your healths were starting to decline, and with such an important experiment, we couldn't let that happen. We will make sure to cater both of you to your specific diets from now on."
  43. >Oh, how thoughtful of them.
  44. >You scrunch up the note, and throw it in a corner. You take your daily pill out of the bag and swallow it.
  45. >How nasty, but you really had no choice.
  46. >Aanon was stirring. You snap your head to him.
  47. >What should you do? Just act normal now..
  48.
  49.
  50. >You smell something.
  51. >Something.. good. Something you haven't had in a while.
  52. >Meat.
  53. >You open your eyes, and try to find the source of the scent.
  54. >You see Pinkie in the direction of it.
  55. >Ohno. You didn't wake up in time.
  56. >You quickly check your body, hoping you have all of your limbs and organs in place, hoping that you weren't actually smelling yourself.
  57. >No blood, no cuts.. nothing.
  58. >You were confused.
  59. >Surely Pinkie was pissed. She never let you touch her, except a few rare instances.
  60. >She must have woken next to you.
  61. >Why was she just staring at you though?
  62. >You get up, and walk over to her, cautiously.
  63. >Weird. She didn't roughly advance you or anything. In fact, she even seemed to have backed away from you.
  64. >You look down, and widen your eyes.
  65. >There was a plate of delicious looking steak and mashed potatoes, right in front of you.
  66. >You rub your eyes, hoping you weren't hallucinating.
  67. >Nope, it was still there.
  68. >You look at Pinkie.
  69. Is this for me?
  70. Pinkie: Yeah..
  71. >Good enough for you. You sit down, and pick up the meat with your bare hands.
  72. >You needed no utensils. Who cares at this point.
  73. >You eat that thing in a matter of seconds.
  74. >The potatoes were probably even better, the creamyness running down your throat.
  75. >You wipe your hands on your pants.
  76. >Another thing that was weird: No matter what you did to these clothes, they always seemed to remain clean. Your potatoes might be there right now, but you swear, it will be gone in a few minutes.
  77. >You get up, and look at Pinkie.
  78. >How much does she know?
  79. So..
  80. >You need to break the silence somehow.
  81. Did you.. sleep ok last night?
  82. >Bad idea, but it will give you the information you needed.
  83. >Pinkie looks at you in shock.
  84. Pinkie: You knew? And you.. let me?!
  85. >Uhoh. This was going to turn ugly fast.
  86. >Pinkie stomps over to you, and balls her fist in your shirt, her other arm cocked back.
  87. Pinkie: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't hit you right now.
  88. >You couldn't block it, due to your chains being underneath Pinkie's arm.
  89. I was stuck.
  90. Pinkie: What?! And what is that supposed to mean?
  91. You kept shivering and wouldn't stop unless I was next to you.
  92. Pinkie: So?!
  93. I couldn't just leave you like that..
  94. >Pinkie lowers her arm.
  95. Pinkie: And what about when I fell asleep? Why didn't you leave?
  96. Because..
  97. >She got you there. Why did you stay?
  98. I.. don't know. I guess I wanted to..
  99. >Pinkie has lowered her arm, just staring at you.
  100. Pinkie: What? But.. why? I thought you..
  101. >She lets go of you.
  102. Pinkie.. I'm sorry, ok? If it made you uncomfortable, I won't do it again.
  103. Pinkie: Well, um.. ok.
  104. >You look at each other in awkward silence.
  105. So, do you want to do something?
  106. Pinkie: Like what?
  107. We could.. uhh..
  108. >You were out of games to play.
  109. I don't know.
  110. >The door opens between you two, and takes the tray. And out.. comes a ball.
  111. >You pick it up. It was just a regular, white ball. It feels like rubber. Which means..
  112. >You throw it at the wall, and sure enough, it bounces back to you.
  113. >Oh, this is fun.
  114. Pinkie: Is that it? That's all they give us?!
  115. We could just toss it back and forth if you'd like.
  116. Pinkie: That sounds boring.
  117. How about we play wall ball?
  118. Pinkie: How do you play that.
  119. >You state the rules, telling her that you just throw it at the wall. If it comes back at you and you don't catch it, you have to drop it and run to the wall, letting the other player try and hit the wall with it before you get there.
  120. Pinkie: That still sounds stupid.
  121. You get to hit me with it if I don't touch the wall in time.
  122. Pinkie: Let's play.
  123. >You start off by bouncing it. It ricochets off the wall and at Pinkie. Pinkie catches it and throws it at the wall, as hard a she could. It starts flying everywhere, and you quickly lay on the ground.
  124. >The ball makes a last rebound, and hits Pinkie in the head.
  125. >Uhoh. She was going to blame this on you somehow.
  126. >Instead, Pinkie drops down, unconscious.
  127. >That's even worse.
  128. >You get up, and check to see if she is hurt.
  129. >Something was wrong with her.
  130. >She was whimpering and twitching a little.
  131. >Again? Does she have bad nightmares or something?
  132. >You see where it hit her. There was nothing there, but you knew it would leave a bruise.
  133. >You grab Pinkie's head, straightening it. She instantly stopped twitching and whining.
  134. >That's odd..
  135. >You let go again, and Pinkie starts up again.
  136. >Is she okay?
  137. >You decide that maybe you should wait for her to regain consciousness, holding her while bouncing the ball on the wall and catching it.
