There's the sound of breaking glass and then a tremendous, multi-segmented humanoid monstrosity bends its way around Akemi, extending a basin of quicksilver. "Son of a-" she says before plunging, head first, into the fluid. "This makes everything much clearer," her voice says, issuing from nowhere and everywhere, "probably too clear. But if I just focus, I think I can..."

Akemi removes her head from the basin and curses. "No, I... look, maybe it's my fault, o-or, uh, maybe you're unusally resiliant, but that hypothesis, uh, that failed," she mutters as Shi Huangdi fades from being. "A-anyway, uh. Good, we're already making, uh, research. So, um. You can let go now.

        Osamu looks up and shakes his head, Sophia fading away back into the dark recesses of his mind or....wherever. "I...really don't know. I tried to see you, but...I think that, perhaps, I'm too new. Maybe I could ask someone I know if they know how to...you know." He lets out a soft sigh, then smiles lightly, awkwardly, to Akemi. "This...is interesting."
