	+ rude, mean
		it's not that soyoung is ill-mannered (in fact she can be very proper when she wants to), it's just that she's
		mean in general. she grew up with zero love and didn't learn how to actually be nice to people, which causes
		her to be the way she is now, constantly saying rude things and offending anyone she wants.
	+ straight-forward, honest
		soyoung isn't one to sugarcoat things, which is mainly the reason she's so rude to people. she speaks her mind,
		not holding back any negative comments she has of other people. if she simply dislikes the clothes you wear, or
		the way you talk, she'll make sure you know it, even if it happens to hurt your feelings. to her, these comments
		are only "constructive criticism" and it's for the person's own good.
	+ self centered, spoiled
		growing up as a single child within a rich family led to soyoung being ultimately a spoiled brat. she's gets
		whatever she wants, whenever she wants, and it has caused her to become a bit self-centered as well. she thinks
		that the only person that matters is herself, and only really cares about things that affect her directly.

		although most of the time she is too preoccupied with herself to care, she does notice a lot of things. she's
		quick to catch onto people's lies, and doesn't put up with anyone who decides to cover up things. with that
		being said, soyoung has a natural skill at reading people like an open book, even if she doesn't know them that

		to soyoung, everything has to be perfect, on the spot, and with zero flaws. she can't stand any mistakes, which
		causes her to be a bit bossy at some moments because she believes that under her management, things come out

		of course, everyone has some sort of humor, and for soyoung, her humor lies within sarcastic comments. even
		though she doesn't look like a fun person, her sarcasm can sometimes cause people to laugh (as long as they

		softball is a somewhat hidden talent that soyoung has. although no one thinks that a girl like soyoung, with
		pristine clothes and freshly done nails, would be involved with any sports, she actually enjoys it a lot.

		nobody would expect her to be musical at all, but soyoung has been taking piano lessons since she was five, and
		although she sometimes wishes to stop, it's something she can never let go

♥ BACKGROUND:
	+ to anyone, soyoung seems to have the perfect life, a perfect family, and the ability to get anything she wants.
	  sure, the last part might be true, as soyoung usually gets everything she wants, but life isn't necessarily
	  perfect for the girl. her mother and father had some sort of arranged marriage, her grandfather from her mother's
	  side deciding that the only way to resurrect his dying company was to marry off his only daughter to the son of
	  a korean company, which had started doing well in the business. after the marriage and years of constant begging
	  from the parents of both her mother and father, they decided to have a child, hopefully a boy who could take on
	  the company when he was older. unfortunately, to much disappointment for her parents and grandparents, soyoung
	  was born, a healthy little girl. it caused a drift between soyoung and her parents, who in the beginning didn't
	  even want a child. her mother never believed she could be a great mom, so she barely gave any attention or love
	  to soyoung. on the other hand, soyoung's father was either locked up in his office or in an important meeting
	  halfway across the world, so soyoung never was as close to him either. because of this constant neglect, soyoung
	  grew up in a cold, lonely, and dark mansion, and the only role models she had were the snobbish, proper, and
	  wealthy people her parents were surrounded by. this caused the girl to grow up to be like them, and by the time
	  she was ten, she had a reputation for being a little snarky girl. it didn't bother her parents much, as they
	  often mistreated soyoung with rude and unkind words as well. at school, her attitude persisted, and despite her
	  mean ways, soyoung had earned popularity and was feared by many of the students. she showed a perfect image at
	  school, constantly bragging about her expensive clothes, excellent grades, and amazing skills at softball, but
	  little did people know how her home was broken, how her mother had slumped into depression due to her missing
	  china, or how her father was destroying the company he owned, as well as having an affair.

♥ FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

		despite her popularity and attitude, soyoung knew and recognized almost everyone at school, or at least in her
		grade. so, when she first spoke to jeno, a boy she observed to be quiet, she felt sick. how could someone like
		him, so reserved and overwhelmingly polite, survive in a terrible world like this? she couldn't understand it
		at all, and hated him for being so content with the world, or at least that's what he appeared to be.
	+ his
		jeno knew soyoung's reputation very well, as he often witnessed the mean words she spoke to anyone who stood in
		her way. he didn't hate her (since he felt bad if he hated a person he never interacted with) but he disliked her
		very much, and tried his best to stay away from her. but the world decided to turn against him when his chemistry
		teacher forcefully paired him with soyoung for a midterm lab.

♥ RELATIONSHIP:
	+ acquaintances, but they lowkey dislike/hate each other already

♥ TIMELINE:
	+ beginning
		there was an unspoken tension whenever they were around each other, like, they both knew that they hated each
		other without anyone saying it. it was frustrating for the both of them, being around people you didn't want to
		be around with. jeno was quiet around her, keeping to himself, while soyoung either made sarcastic comments on
		things he did or watched from afar with hateful eyes.
	+ middle
		somewhere along their very tense, semi-friendship, jeno finds soyoung in a very vulnerable situation, and some
		part of his kind soul tells him to comfort her, and he does. it confuses the heck out of soyoung, not under-
		standing anything at all as she hesitantly accepts his attempts at comforting. she decides to hate him even
		more because of it, but she can't help but put those feelings aside as she just feels a small amount of love that
		she hasn't received from anyone else, except maybe from hairspray.
	+ end
		as the tension between them slowly diminishes, it becomes a bit awkward. soyoung realizes that her reason for
		hating jeno is dumb, and jeno starts to look beyond her attitude and realizes that she's just a girl who was
		mistreated and grew up in a terrible environment. they slowly start staying around each other, and soyoung finds
		herself not being able to be her usual self. she's not offending him anymore and she starts to feel small and
		insignificant. jeno finds himself interested in her in the strangest ways, wanting to discover more about her and
		help her, in a way. they become close friends out of nowhere and in a short amount of time, but both of them
		might have developed some confusing feelings for each other, feelings that are strong enough for them to confess
		to each other and maybe even become something more than friends.

	+ jeno promising to attend all of her softball games and to quietly cheer her on
	+ coincidentally, both of them have similar-looking glasses, causing them to claim it as a couple item
	+ jeno constantly quietly scolds soyoung whenever he catches her being rude to another innocent soul
