  1. team preview
  2. - what's my game plan of how to win (what threatens him/potentially sweeps him, what do I have to get rid of)
  3. - how to deal with their team (what threatens me from their side and how to not let it get opportunities, what lets it come in)
  4. - lead to get me most initial initiative (and not letting the threats on their team come in for free)
  5.
  6. - what moves both sides can do
  7. - in terms of long-term game plan, what moves do I have to progress forward with it (taking damage to weaken a big counter for example)
  8. - what risks can I afford to take (what risks can I not afford to make)
  9. - do I have any reason not to make a specific play (the safe move vs the predictions and whether I need to)
  10. - assess the need to play a certain way
  11. - tempted to double but if I have a safe switch to their check and the matchup is okay, I can just play it safe
  12. - do i have to take a risk/take damage in order to get my threat in?
  13. - if the matchup is bad, I might have to take risks more often in order to catch them playing too safely
  14. - if the matchup is good, I can afford to be more safe but should still take aggressive turns at times in order to
  15. leverage on the matchup (and make sure they don't overwhelm me with plays and catch me being too passive)
  16. - e.g. making a prediction: sometimes I either get it right and get rid of a mon or I weaken the current check in front of me
  17. - can they risk me setting up, making the prediction, or losing the current mon that's needed to check other stuff?
  18. - that might make someone more likely to make a certain play
  19. - mid-ground plays
