  1. First off I'm giving you guys an operating budget of 10k Each.

  5. DOOFER ARMOR:
  6.
  7. It takes a few hours but between Genevieve and a call to Zeke for help, you're able to reframe some Doofer Trooper armor frames for regular human use, and also plaster them with Cold Steel to try to block out Fairy Mind Fuckery. The Mind Control Blocking seemed to work with a little testing involving a Mawile bot, having it wander into the palace and try to sneak around - it didn't get hacked and was able to exit unseen (Not a lot of risk was put into this thing scouting). While the crown and Oya might be a lot more elegant solution than these big clunky things, they'd allow others to operate independently of whoever had Oya around them. If you guys knew who would be using them, you think you could spoof up some versions for their Pokemon as well.

  11. HUSK:
  12.
  13. Oya awakes while laughing profusely, a very nervous and slightly scared laugh. She's got a lot to say.
  14.
  15. So it turns out, the entire thing with kidnapping Jennifer (and even knowing she existed) was Husk's idea for a long while. His pitch to The Banisher was that she would be A) easily manipulated and convinced of his causes, B) possessed a very unique origin, being a clone, and would allow for him to create a perfect vessel for his power (Which was originally going to be Pi), and C) She had a very unique skill set and knowledge base that he could use to gain a lot of influence and intelligence.
  16.
  17. Well, as you know, a lot of that worked. It was also Husk's suggestion to look into the origins of a Team Rocket operative who claimed to have been raised by Cleffairies - which turned out to be the product of that project your Cleffy friend told you about. And with Jennifer, who could literally speak in 0's and 1's on board, getting access to those records was a cake walk. It wasn't long at all until they had Genesis brewing in a artificial womb - a product of Human and Clefairy DNA. Which, funny enough, made her a great future symbiant for Mewtwos - who are a mix of human and Poke'DNA. As you know, they used Dittos instead, but the results still were pretty close.
  18.
  19. Jennifer and The Banisher getting the favor of a lot of fat cats up in New Jamestown was just a nudge from Husk. He didn't really have a motive behind it at the time, other than hoping it'd somehow blow their cover as time went on. During the midst of this, a small company called Saederr Krupp was looking for investment - they mostly dealt with fossil reanimation technology at the time. Basically, they wanted some help to try to run some expeditions to acquire samples for their R&D. By this point, Husk knew Grant had people building SOMETHING out in the Misty Mountains, so he tossed them some funds and figured it'd be a low risk way of scouting out what Grant was interested in. He could not believe what they found - a completely new type of Pokemon Fossil, something unlike anything they'd ever seen. This...turned out to be Lofwyr, a long deceased Legendary Pokemon. And in a funny twist, the creature took control of the company that resurrected him pretty fast, and reached out to Husk to return the favor of returning him to life. They began a business agreement on the down low - counter measures to Fairy Type Pokemon (Which Lofwyr hated the sound of.)
  20.
  21. Husk, conveniently, dumped a lot of these assets into Grant's lap. Of course he didn't make it very obvious, but placing them in locations Grant was looking to take made it easy. Lofwyr took notice of this as well, and called Husk out on what his goal was here - which he was pretty honest on. He wanted to see The Banisher and Grant's Devourer destroy each others plans, and abuse their powers to create the best possible outcome for his own daughter, Alice. Lofwyr found the idea hilarious, and they made a pact to work together to ensure this would happen.
  22.
  23. While the Cold Steel you've been given can be considered 'clean', the vast majority of Grant's goods, munitions and tools are tied to Lofwyr himself. Its to the point that Husk is pretty sure, when Grant actually does call upon The Devourer, they'll be able to turn his own equipment against the being. Even worse yet, any Legendary slain by the goods that Grant's men are carrying (including his Primals), will have its essence funneled to Lofwyr - and by extension, Husk.
  24.
  25. This really piqued Oya's interest, so she looked into just what Lofwyr was...and what she found, she's not sure she likes.

  28.
  29. Grant might call his deity of choice The Devourer, but that title would be much more appropriate for Lofwyr. She's not exactly sure what this thing was in ancient times, but she does know why - as she put it - 'Arceus must have realized he had made a mistake, and revoked its ability to reincarnate as a proper Legendary.'
  30.
  31. Lofwyr eats other Legendaries, and he's agreed to funnel some of the powers he consumes to Husk. He's got his eyes on John Smith - aka Dandyman - who has at least 30 Lake Guardians of power in him, Grant's Unown Hivemind Dragon, those Eorzean Gods, whatever Genesis is, and hey, if he can eat Shango and The Banisher as well, he'd go for it.
