- Tsaaq: ((Did you forget to press enter >.>))
- Covet: -Kelsey was sitting at one of the tables towards the back rolling silverware while she looked over her schedule for the next semester. She was humming along to whatever music was playing above the the sound system.-
- Covet: [yep XD]
- Tsaaq: Hayley hugged her sides and rushed inside of the diner, closing the door behind her as she rubbed her hands together. She walked past the counter and paced a little to get warm before seeing Kelsey. "Hey Kels." She said as she walked over to the table.
- Covet: -Kelsey looked up when she saw Hayley come over, She gave her a wave- Hey Hayley. You look frozen. Do you want something warm to drink? -she asked her, smiling politely-
- Tsaaq: "Just black coffee is fine." She answered quietly while shivering and looking at the seat. "I'm going to sit down or some shit." Hayley said and rolled her sleeves over her hands a bit and hugged her form again.
- Covet: Oh of course, don't mind my mess there. Just taking care of busy work. It's been a slow night. -Kelsey got up and poured her a mug of coffe, and a peppermint tea for herself. She grabbed a couple of Chocolate chunk cookies for them both as well. She sat back down and slid Hayley's mug over to her.- How have you been?
- Tsaaq: She grabbed the mug and blew softly then hastily took a sip. "Thank you." She said before putting it back down on the table. She shrugged her shoulders weakly. "Okay I guess." Hayley answered pretty lethargically. "What about you?" She asked as she went to take another sip.
- Covet: No problem. -she said with another smile- Pretty good. I got the final confirmation letter, with the judge's signature that says Connor is One Hundred percent mine. -she smiled and took a bite of her cookie- Best early birthday present I could have asked for.
- Artificer: (yoooo)
- Covet: [HI LUCAS]
- Artificer: ((WHATS CRACKIN HOME SLICE))
- Tsaaq: "Oh, that's great Kels." Hayley tried to smile. "I'm so glad to hear that." She went to reach over to Kelsey and pat her but gave up halfway, slouching in her seat.
- Tsaaq: ((Stop talking like that.))
- Tsaaq: ((>.>))
- Artificer: (Fight me)
- Tsaaq: ((I will.))
- Artificer: ((I will take you down punk))
- Covet: -Kelsey's smile softened- Thanks, Hayley. -She watched her slouch a bit- You seem super down. Do you want to talk about it?
- Tsaaq: She took a few sips of her coffee and looked away for a moment. "I don't want to bum you out." Hayley said as she tried to sit up. "Things are just shitty, y'know? And they never stop being shitty like everyone says they will. They just get worse somehow. And I guess I'm just tired." She sighed.
- Artificer: Ben strolled up to the cafe, as routine for him to get stoned and walk to the Cafe to get some food, to tame his munchies. Ben pulled the door open and headed inside, he glanced around, immediatly spotting Hayley and Kelsey. He smiled and headed towards them, talking careful steps so that Hayley couldnt hear him.
- Covet: You wouldn't be bumming me out. Everyone needs a sound board. -Kelsey told her, taking a drink of her tea. She saw Ben walk in, intending to sneak up on Hayley. She smiled a bit watching him but didn't say anything.-
- Tsaaq: "I'm don't know for sure but..." She paused and covered her face with her hands. "I don't know if I should even talk about it because what if I'm wrong?" Hayley lowered her arms and head onto the table surface.
- Artificer: Ben reached out to tap on Hayley's shoulder before he noticed her lay her head on the table. He slid into the seat on the other side of Hayley, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Whats the matter gorgeous?" Ben asked as he glanced at Kelsey and gave her a wave, before turning his concern back to Hayley.
- Covet: Hmm, Well it's safe to talk to me. Clearly it's something that's bothering you, but I understand if you'd rather do it another time. -She looked up at Ben and smiled, giving him a return wave- Can I get you anything Ben? -she asked him, and moved the silverware out of the way so he could have a clear spot at the table-
- Tsaaq: She lifted her head at the sound of Ben's voice and waved her hand at him. "Nothing." She answered as if it were a reflex, even though it was apparent everything was wrong. She glanced between Kelsey and Ben and lowered her head a bit. "I think Tony's cheating on me." Hayley finally said and lowered her head. "I don't know if he is though but, it would make a lot of sense."
- Artificer: Ben nodded his head towards Kelsey. "in a little bit." He glanced back at Hayley. "Why do you think that?" Ben asked, feeling his face already getting red.
- Covet: -Kelsey nodded at Ben, then turned her head frowning at her- Oh I'm so sorry, Hayley. That's aweful. I'd really like to hope that Tony was better than that.
- Tsaaq: "Me too..." She trailed off and began to sniffle, covering her face again. "Because when I told him my sex drive was back he seemed really weird about it. And then he came home late and said he was out with some dude named Brian from the baseball team but he fucked up. First he said Bri, which sounds like the girl he used to sleep with. And he wouldn't let me call 'Brian' cause he sounded like he was lying so I wanted to make sure. But he's been extra mean lately." Hayley rambled before crying. "It's okay, he said he loves me so, maybe he isn't?" She shrugged. "Maybe I'm just paranoid. I'm not really a good girlfriend anyways."
- Artificer: Ben scooted his chair a bit closer, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her in. "Oh Hayley." Ben sighed, shaking his head before leaning it against hers. "Im sorry." He said, rubbing her back a bit.
- Covet: -Kelsey looked at Ben and raised an eyebrow at his overly affectionate response. She coughed a bit to clear her throat- Hmm. I wish there was a way to find out more. I mean so that you have difinitive proof. But nobody is perfect, He should be more understanding about how you're feeling, especially with what you've been through.
- Tsaaq: Hayley shook her head as she looked over to Ben and pulled away a bit. "It doesn't matter." She said softly. "I can feel it in my gut. I know he's doing it. After everything I've done. Nothing matters and nothing I do matters." Hayley murmured as she wiped her face. "And I don't know why I'm even trying."
- Artificer: Ben sat back, keeping his hand on her shoulder. "Screw him, you dont need him anyway." Ben said, giving her shoulder a gentle squeeze. "I knew he was an asshole." Ben hissed under his breath angrily.
- Covet: -Kelsey nodded her head- Okay, look at the brightside of all of this. If you think things aren't going to work out with Tony, and you'll both be happier not in a relationship. Then by all means, you've got the right to give yourself a chance for happiness. Sometimes thing just don't work out. That doesn't mean there aren't bigger and better opportunities. -The painfully ever optimistic Kelsey prattled on.-
- Covet: *things
- Tsaaq: "I won't be happier not in a relationship. Last time I checked I'm never happy. It just hurts." She shrugged her shoulders and kept her head down. "I can't just leave him, even though I know in my heart he's a fucking sleeze." Hayley sighed. "This is stupid. I don't want to talk about it anymore." She pursed her lips a moment and slouched a bit.
- Artificer: Ben pulled his hand away watching her. "Well if you need to just get away for a bit you are always welcome over at my place." Ben said as he scooted his chair back under the table.
- Covet: Hayley you can't just not do anything about it, and let it fester. That's not healthy. You've got to do things for yourself if you want to be happy. But if you aren't going to be any happier not in a relationship, versus one that makes you miserable. Wouldn't it be the lesser of two evils? -she asked her-
- Tsaaq: She shook her head. "If I leave I won't come back." Hayley said to Ben before looking in her mug to see what was left over. "You don't understand, it doesn't matter what I do. Because regardless of what decision I make I'll be all fucked up. And when you feel like that? Weighing what's worse isn't a thing."
- Artificer: "I wish there was something I could do, Hayley." Ben sighed still looking her way. "Why cant the world just let you be happy for once?"
- Covet: Hayley, there's better options out there. -she frowned and looked over at Ben- I understand that you are really upset with yourself right now, and that's not how anyone should feel. Especially when it's not their fault. -she paused to think for a moment- Have you considered talking with a professional, or someone you feel close to?
- Tsaaq: She frowned and looked between the two of them. "It is my fault though." Hayley said quietly then shook her head. "It's okay. Let's just stop talking about it." She forced a smile on her face. "How are you Ben?" Hayley asked him.
- Artificer: Ben glanced at Hayley with a smile. "Well I miss you."He said quietly before speaking up "Ive been alright otherwise." He gave a forced smile glancing between the two of them.
- Covet: -Kelsey sighed reluctantly and nodded, suddently feeling like an awkward third wheel- As you wish. I should actually get this put away. My shift was over nine minutes ago. -She looked at them both, giving a polite smile as she gathered up the silverware holder and the napkins- If you guys need anything else Gertie is on shift
- Tsaaq: "I'm sorry." She said to Kelsey quickly. "I should've just shut up." Hayley said with a shrug. "Get home okay, maybe I'll see you tomorrow." She tried to wave at her before looking over to Ben. "You miss me? We hung out the other day?" Hayley asked him softly, sounding a little confused.
- Artificer: Ben smirked and gave her a shrug. "I like hanging out with you" Ben waved towards kelsey with a smile. "Bye Kelsey, good seeing you"
- Covet: No need to be sorry. I'm glad I was able to listen to you a bit. -she set the tray down and leaned down to give Hayley a friendly hug- Thank you Hayley. I hope so. Keep your head up. -she told her with a warm smile, then grabbed the tray again, waving at Ben- Good to see you again too Ben. Have a good night you two. -she told them, then made her way into the back so she could clock out and head back to the dorms.-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head and patted Kelsey awkwardly when she hugged her. She gave her another wave when she left and glanced at Ben again. "You do?" Hayley asked again. "Sorry, it's really hard to tell if people actually like being around me lately. Sorry." She kept apologizing.
- Artificer: "Of course i like being around you dork." Ben said with a chuckled giving her leg a pat. "I love spending time with you."
- Tsaaq: She stared at Ben for a moment and leaned her head on his shoulder once she saw there wasn't many people left in the diner. "Feels like you're the only person whose said that in a while." She whispered.
- Tsaaq: ((if you're sleepy go to bed!))
- Artificer: Ben wrapped his arm around her kissing the top of her head quickly. "You should know by now, youve got me wrapped around your finger." He teased shooting her a glance as her quirked his brow.
- Tsaaq: Hayley shook her head and went in to hug him. "Why doesn't Tony want me?" She asked softly. "I know I never have sex with him but..." She paused. "I guess I'm not very fun either. I would cheat on me too. It's just karma." Hayley tried to rationalize.
- Artificer: "You are amazing, dont let his stupidity make you think that." Ben said as he hugged her tight, kissing the top of her head again.
- Tsaaq: She sighed, nodding her head. She reluctantly pulled away from the hug. "Can I stay with you tonight? I'll sleep on the couch and I won't bother you or anything." She asked awkwardly as she lowered her head.
- Artificer: "Of course you can hun." Ben said giving her a smile. "You can hae the bed hun," He said as he stood, holding his hand out for her. to help her up. "Come on cute stuff."
- Tsaaq: She took his hand and hoisted herself onto her feet. "Oh, I don't want to hog up the bed or anything." She said as she hugged her sides with her arms and headed for the exit. "I just can't go back to his apartment yet. It hurts too much." Hayley murmured and walked out the diner with him.
- Artificer: Ben followed her out, holding the door open for her. "Well, the bed isnt that small. We can share it." Ben said, pausing for a moment. "The couch is pretty uncomfortable." HE said trying to think of an excuse.
- Tsaaq: "Oh... okay." She trailed off and walked outside. "Thanks." Hayley whispered then waited for him outside. "Okay... We can share the bed. There's nothing sexual about sharing the bed." She said to him a little nervously.
- Artificer: "We can cuddle a little bit without it being sexual." He chuckled as he walked with her towards his apartment. "and you can stay as long as you want hun."
- Tsaaq: She pouted her lips and lowered her head while they walked towards the building. "Okay." She said with acceptance. "Maybe I'll actually get some sleep?" Hayley shrugged before looking up at Ben. "As much as I'd like to, I have to go back. Thursday at least..."
- Artificer: "Well Im always here for you, for anything." He said, glancing over at her. "Seriously." He said, grabbing her hand to get her attention so that she knew he was serious.
- Tsaaq: Hayley stared up at Ben and swallowed hard, squeezing his hand a moment. "Anything?" She repeated. "Let's just go to bed." She sighed and went to give him another hug, sighing again. "I don't think I've slept since yesterday." Hayley told him.
- Artificer: Ben hugged her tight, kissing the top of her head. "Alright, lets get you some sleep." He said, taking her hand as he led her to his apartment.
- Tsaaq: ((Are we done? :o))
