My Uncle Needs Help

When I was on my way home from work, my mom told me that one of our family members back home (Bangladesh) has cancer and is really sick to the point that his chance of survival is very slim. The treatment he needs to do costs a ton of money (I wasn't given an actual amount, but since it's not in the US, it's a lot) and a lot of family members from my mom's side are coming together to help do a fundraiser. They know that I've been involved with charity events whether it's as a speedrunner or contributing money for a good cause. I wasn't really sure how I wanted to go about this, but I want to help raise money for my uncle so he can get his treatment going. I could use some suggestions on a good way to raise money while streaming, but I did think about doing a 24 hour stream on a weekend or a small weekend marathon (because of work) and people can submit to it, however I don't have any experience running/organizing a marathon. I have until mid-December to make the donation and I'm thinking about raising $1000 for him. I will find out the donation link from my family once everything is straightened out. I would greatly appreciate any kind of help, advice, and prayers. Thank you for reading.
