WHY WERE YOU GIVEN THIS NICKNAME;

Hyunie - Given to her because of her cute nature. Her friends started calling her that after she was dared to do aegyo in front of her crush. It's also the last part of her name adapted to make it sound cuter.

Flower - Ever since she was a young child, her father always called her flower because he reminds her of one. What he meant was that she was precious and she needed a lot of care and help to grow in life.

 Cutie - Again given to her because of her cute nature. Her friends and family always call her adorable or cute or words along those lines because of her image and the way she acts.

BACKGROUND;

Dahyun's birthday was both an amazing day and a tragedy for her family. They were blessed with a new, beautiful child but also cursed; her mother died during her birth. She had a sister, Dahee, and a brother, Dongwook, (who were both older) but they were never close with her as they secretly blamed her for the death of her mother and they distanced themselves from her.

She grew up feeling isolated from her family. This caused her to be quite socially awkward at school, meaning that she didn't really have the courage to talk to anyone or make friends. However, her father, who was a psychologist, noticed that his children weren't close with eachother and that Dahyun never really talked to anyone, whether it be family or friends. He made them talk to each other and open up about their feelings, hoping that it would make them get along and make Dahyun less shy. She managed to become closer to Dongwook but Dahee wasn't having it. She let out her feelings and decided that she didn't want anything to do with her sister who she said 'killed' her mother. Her father tried to get her to at least try and interact with her, but it was no use. Dahee attempted to get Dahyun kicked other of the house and tried to force her to live with their grandmother but Dongwook and her father protested. This caused Dahee to leave instead so she left Jeju Island and moved to Daegu to live with her grandparents.

With Dahee out of the way, Dahyun became closer with her family. She also managed to become more confident and sociable and she made a few friends at school. However, she sensed that her brother still held a small grudge against her but maybe that was just paranoia. She was always too afraid to speak to her brother about it since she was scared that he'd leave just like her sister did. To this day, she still doesn't know if he still potentially holds a grudge against her for the death of her mother. This is why she has a lot of trust issues.

PERSONALITY;

-Cute: She always seems to act cute around others. Her friends don't know if it's just what she's like or whether she's being like it to attract boys. Either way, they fall in love with her and her adorable nature. She is cutest the most when she pouts or smiles. Her eyes are usually people's favourite feature of hers because they remind her of a puppy. Also, whenever she smiles, her dimples show and people always seem to see them as an addition to her cuteness.

-Stubborn: Once she's decided on something, she won't ever change her mind. Her father had always taught her to be firm on her opinions and keep fighting for her beliefs. Whenever she's the only one in class with a certain answer for a question, she won't follow the crowd and change it. She feels that if she always changes her opinions and answers, she'll become indecisive in life.

-Expressive: After her father made her and her siblings open up to eachother, she started to become more open about the emotions and feelings she has. She'll usually end up telling anyone how she feels about anything. Most of the time, if she feels sad about something, she'll end up sobbing and crying. Her friends are always happy to comfort her if she's sad. Sometimes, she even cries over the stupidest of things or if something isn't even sad, she'll cry. To be completely honest, once she's cried in front of someone or opened up to them, she feels that her relationship with that person is better.

-Creative: Her mind normally flows with creativity. It doesn't take her very long to think of new and unique ideas and put them to work. Whether it be on paper or canvas or on the computer, she always makes the most of her creativity and makes some new kind of artwork or song or piece of writing. Her creativity allows her to receive the top grades in art at school as she always makes pieces of artwork which are of astounding quality. Art is her favourite subject at school as it allows her to put her creativity to use. She doesn't know where she got such a creative mind from, but her father always took her to beautiful places and gave her books to read as a child. Maybe that's where she gets it from?

-Impulsive: She never usually thinks about things before she does them. Whenever she talks to someone, she doesn't think before she speaks. This sometimes makes her come off as rude. She thinks that she should improve on this habit, but doing so is harder than she thought. This habit of hers has landed her quite a few scoldings from both her father and and her teachers at school. However, she always ends up apologising to someone ager she's rude to them.

-A good listener: She will always be open to listen to her friends if they want to talk to her. She won't talk while they're talking and she'll listen to them until they're done. After, she'll try and give them the best advice that she can on the situation that they're in. She does this because they'll always listen to her whenever she wants to talk. It's returning the favour for them.

-A fretter: She always worries about what others will think of her. Her reputation is as important as her future because she thinks that if she has a bad one, then everyone will hate her. She's rude sometimes, but that is a habit that she's trying to improve on. If she's rude to someone, she'll apologise to them and try to make them think better of her. However, even after she's apologised, she'll still worry about what they think of her.
