  2. I started using Google Adwords to promote my Youtube videos with Keyword and Company name but my video got rejected

  15. Let says my youtube video title is Grant Theft Auto 5 Hidden Quests
  16. So when I submitted the ads with this title I always got an error because Grand Theft Auto 5 is a keyword and i was not able to submit my videos on Google Adwords
  17. so when I removed the keyword "Grand Theft Auto 5" and added something else eg "Auto 5 Hidden Quests" then my videos got approved.

  19. For my second video, the same thing happened and I was not able to promote my video so I had to remove the keyword from the title.
  20. But the strange thing is when I was creating the thumbnail of my video, I added that keyword eg. "Grand Theft Auto 5" and uploaded my thumbnail on that video and after waiting for 2 days google has approved my video.

  22. I was able to promote my video but the thing is if there is no keyword in the title then if someone search with that keyword he/she will no find my video ads.

  28. As I said google adwords reject my videos if the title contains keyword or company name so I changed the title and I always add the same keyword and company name to my thumbnail. So, if I do this will Google ban my AdWords account me?
  29. Well there is lot of grey about this, generally if it is approved so there should not be any problem but that does not mean it can not get banned. For example, suppose you have a small mobile repair business and you repair phones for a particular brand. You can not use something like XYZ brand support for the title however you may use support for XYZ brand as you are just repairing those products and it should work normally. However, if google finds your ads to be misleading it can still ban your ads. As I said there is lot of grey area about this.

  40. yeah, but this should happen with the website or both youtube and website? I know that we cant run ads based on brand names but why they approve my youtube ads? I just remove the brand name from the title and after 2 days my ads get approved. So i want to know how i can legally promote my videos on youtube
