- Anything specific to the Lushroom Update (2.0.0) will be indicated with parenthesis and asterisks around it (*Like this*)
- All About Barklings (the mob):
- Barklings spawn in naturally generating villages in each of the games overworld forest biomes
- (*Four biomes generate "hermit houses" which spawn that biome's Barkling type, the biomes are: Lush Caves, Mushroom Fields, and both Crimson and Warped Forests.*)
- The Barklings in these structures match the wood type of the biome they spawn in
- Barklings can be bred with golden apples
- The baby will visually match the biome it spawns in rather than the parents
- Barklings generate naturally in the nether forest biomes, but there are no villages in these two biomes (*this is no longer the case*)
- If the player throws a piece of fruit on the ground near a Barkling, the Barkling will run to the fruit, pick it up, and drop an item for the player
- Their bartering loot tables are very similar between forest variants, but slightly different
- Oak Barter Loot Pool:
- Oak Log 14%
- Oak Leaves 9%
- Oak Sapling 12%
- Birch Sapling 2%
- Spruce Sapling 2%
- Jungle Sapling 2%

- Cherry Sapling 2%
- Mangrove Propagule 2%

- Sugar Cane 8%
- Beetroot Seeds 8%
- Carrot 8%
- Potato 8%
- Moss Block 7%
- Vines 7%
- Gilded Oak Sapling 3%
- Music Disc 2%
- The log, leaf, and main sapling change to match the wood type the Barkling appears as. Any other sapling can be traded by all overworld types, but less frequently than the main sapling
- For example a Birch Barkling would offer these instead:
- Birch Log 14%
- Birch Leaves 9%
- Birch Sapling 12%
- Oak Sapling 2%
- Etc.
- The nether Barklings only offer the nether fungus and the gilded oak sapling, they won’t give any overworld saplings
- (*Mushroom Barklings offer brown and red mushrooms at the same rate as other Barklings offer their native sapling, all other overworld saplings are offered at the 2% rate*)

- There are also three new types of berries
