Myuki is never the one to frown around her friends, she loves making them laugh, giggle, or smile at least. She has the most charming personality making her instantly likable. She isn't fond of frowning, crying, or being sad, thinking she might make the others like that as well. But deep down inside, she's hurting like most people are/do. She might go off as strong when facing her problems with a smile, but that's just a cover up, she's very weak when it comes to things under pressure. She can be easily fooled, especially with offers of friendship, she wants to be friends with everyone, but some are using her and she doesn't even know it. She liked being friends with everyone, and a lot of people enjoyed her company since she's fun to have around. There isn't any day you'd see her not smiling, even when she gets a failing grade or gets into trouble. She was always positive and will always be. Around high school, she started getting bullied, she herself didn't know why but she would always return home with bruises, yet still smiling. Her friends back then started to get concerned with what were the bruises about, she told them it was just her accidentally hitting herself. Around those times she also had family problems, her father left her, and her mom started to become an alcoholic. She no longer knew her old mom, the one who would happily greet her every time she arrived home, the one that would take her out when she got good grades, the one who wouldn't cry herself to sleep every night. Minji didn't want to burden her mother further so she kept the bullying problem to herself and kept on smiling. One night, when there was a thunder storm, Minji slept beside her mom, since she was afraid of thunder. Her mom agreed and she let her sleep beside her, when her mom thought Minji was asleep, she started to sob a bit, Minji was about to ask her mother what was wrong but stopped herself when she saw her mom swallow down a couple of pills, her mother calmed down and went to sleep. After knowing that, she tried her best to make her eomma be happier/have a lighter life. She began to cook for her, take the chores from her, anything her mother once did was now her own work.
