Q: Why are you resetting so often?
A: I'm looking for a Cait. This is a rare enemy with a 3% chance to spawn per encounter (~16% chance to find one per run), and killing one gives a lot JP. This allows Tressa to go straight to the Scholar Shrine to learn Evasive Manoeuvres. This saves ~2mins over picking up Cyrus early and grinding for JP in the Whistlewood, and is required for WR attempts.

Q: Why are you using Ophilia instead of Cyrus?
A: Cyrus' Study Foe loses you 2s each battle and ~2mins over the course of the entire run. With the Cyrus route, you also have to rely on Primrose's Allure (~30% per Allure, or ~80% per 5 Allures) to complete the quests for the Primeval Bow and Tradewinds Spear, whereas Ophilia can simply guide them.

Q: Why do you start with Tressa and not Ophilia?
A: Ophilia has a terrible time getting Evasive Manoeuvres.

Q: Why do you start with Tressa and not Cyrus?
A: You cannot remove your starting character until you finish their Chapter 4. Since we only finish Cyrus' Chapter 4 towards the end of the run, and we do not require him to be in the party for majority of the run, we are unable to start with Cyrus. Tressa is the best option because she stays in your party for pretty much the entire run and is able to get Evasive Manoeuvres relatively easily.

Q: Why are you running around so much in the early game?
A: This is called exploration. Basically, you are gathering resources that you will need to pick up other characters, such as Soulstones and equipment.
