[22:56] <Tangent> Amelia nods automatically at "home", then blinks slightly at her own reaction. It's only been a few months...but she's gotten used to patrolling its streets, working with Alexa to keep it safe...

[23:01] <DrEvilKitteh> "Hm." Iris slowly nodded and drifted closer to Alexa in particular. "What...is Bel-fast...like?" She floated behind Alexa and continued on swimming, though her eyes were mainly focused on the "Irish" girl.

[23:06] <Jran-Kri> Alexa's head swivels to face Iris, not purely out of it being proper to look at someone while speaking to them. She seems to relax somewhat, which in her case means a more benign nervousness. "W-well, ah... It's not as... pretty, as other places. And it rains quite a bit. And it's cold. B-but, ah... th-there's, y'know. History. You can feel the age, and I think it's got a-a certain... au-austere charm." She visibly
[23:06] <Jran-Kri> brightens at the word 'austere,' as if proud to have known it.
[23:11] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris, on the contrary, didn't know that word. She stopped and settled down in a sitting position a few feet from Alex, her head tilted curiously. "Oz-deer?" There was a pause as she shrugged awkwardly. "I...like the cold, and...some-times...the rain. Some-times."
[23:12] <Tangent> "Hey, um, do you want to see it, Iris?" Amelia asks, finding it hard not to stare at Iris. "There's a portal in the Overcity, not too far from the Wand...I'd love to show you around...Right, Alexa?"
[23:14] <Jran-Kri> "Austere," Alexa corrects primly, unable to keep a slightly smug smile from crawling up her face. "Like rustic. Plain, almost." She eases backwards in the water, half-treading. She seems about to agree when Amelia pipes up. Alexa turns to her as if she had just drawn her attention by slapping her on the back of the head.
[23:14] <Jran-Kri> "... Yes. Yes, i-it would be my pleasure," Alexa says with a thin smile.
[23:15] <Tangent> Amelia glances to Alexa, hopefully, then beams- with just a bit of relief behind it. "Cool! So...um, Iris, you up for it?"
[23:17] <DrEvilKitteh> "Aus-tere," Iris tried, and this time she got it more or less right. She imitated Alexa's accent fairly well, however, which made the word sound a little different than she might have normally said it. "Uhm..." The ice girl looked from Alexa to Amelia and nodded at the latter. "I think...I would...like that. It...could be...fun."
[23:19] <Jran-Kri> "Yes, well, I hope so," Alexa almost mumbles, her head almost descending beneath the water. "I-it's, um -- We don't really have, you know, as many fancy towers as the 'great' cities," the sarcasm is palpable. "B-but there are still some lovely things to see. Especially if you like graffiti."
[23:20] <DrEvilKitteh> "Graf-feet-ee?" Iris again tilted her head in puzzlement.
[23:21] <Tangent> "Like...on the walls? Writing? Painting? Yeah, there's lots of that... There're the old buildings, those are cool. The town hall's pretty neat too!" Amelia chips in, listing them off on wet fingers as she speaks. "There was that one time a hydra tried nesting in the basement, remember, Alexa?" Amelia snickers a little at the memory. "That was something, alright..."
[23:22] <Tangent> At the time of course, she hadn't had much fun- especially before they'd figured out they needed to burn the stumps...But Alexa hadn't gotten hurt, no one'd died, and they'd killed it after setting off some sprinklers. Definitely better in hindsight.
[23:24] <Jran-Kri> "Well, ah -- you're supposed to call them 'murals,'" Alexa corrects herself slightly sardonically. Turning to Amelia, she looks physically energized by Amelia's enthusiasm, nodding shortly with a small, crooked smile. "How could I forget? Gave me quite a fright."
[23:27] <DrEvilKitteh> (Hm... How close are Amelia and Alexa?)
[23:29] <Tangent> (Probably sitting nearby without being shoulder to shoulder? y/n?)
[23:29] <Jran-Kri> ((Sounds about right.))

[23:29] <Tangent> Amelia smirks at her best friend. "Hey, I'm pretty sure you scared it just as much...Scared some of its heads, anyway..." She blinks. "Um, what DID Kreim do with the eggs, anyway?"
[23:31] <DrEvilKitteh> "Mm." Iris nodded, though she wasn't quite sure what a hydra was. Still, from how they spoke about it, she assumed it was a monster of some kind. When they looked at one another, an idea popped into her head, which she acted upon quickly. With long arms mostly obscured beneath the water and steam, she reached forward and quickly poked both Amelia and Alexa in the side--opposite
[23:31] <DrEvilKitteh> sides. Her goal was, of course, to get them to flinch at one another, thereby closing the distance between the two and possibly allowing them to cuddle in the onsen. Whether or not that worked, well...that remained to be seen.
[23:33] <Jran-Kri> Alexa blinks owlishly at Amelia, hesitating for a moment. Her lip curls in a nervous grin. "Well... D-do you remember the omlettes we had the morning af--?" The thought is interrupted by a sudden feeling of something touching her side. Yelping, she jolts sharply upward and towards Amelia, her head swivelling around fearfully.
[23:40] <Tangent> Amelia jerks to the side reflexively with a splash, water flying everywhere. "E-eh?" She bumps into something. Someone. "Wha...Ah..." She's shoulder to shoulder with Alexa, just touching the other girl. "Sorry!" She yelps, then looks around. "Hey, what was that for?" She calls.
[23:42] <DrEvilKitteh> By then, Iris had retreated beneath the water and swiftly relocated to just beside a nearby boulder/rock sticking out of the water. Her head poked out of the water just enough for her eyes to stare calculatingly at the two.
[23:44] <Jran-Kri> Brushing against Amelia, Alexa calms herself, looking around slowly. She casts a single backwards glance at Amelia, reddening slightly, before turning to peer down into the water. "Th-th-they d-don't have f-fish in here, d-do they?"

[23:49] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris lifted her head just enough to speak. "No fish." Then she vanished beneath the water again and swam around to the other side of the boulder.
[23:50] <Tangent> Eh? If it wasn't Iris, then...Amelia blinks, baffled. "Um, pretty sure they don't...any warmer and they'd be cooked. Weird..." She shakes her head, a shrug sending ripples through the water. Once she's over the shock and awkwardness, sitting next to Alexa isn't that bad at all. She glances suspiciously at the spot where Iris's head was a moment ago. "...Maybe one fish." She grumbles quietly, though without much heat in it.
[23:53] <Jran-Kri> Alexa looks over at Iris, watching her slip beneath the waves and deftly glide through the water. Then something seems to click in her head. Sighing, she leans back, drifting in place. She makes no move to leave her position. "Yes -- or perhaps a snake," she says with a faint smirk. "So, I mean... a sea-snake. So... an eel. Wait, this ran away from me..."
[23:54] <Tangent> "So..." Amelia drawls. "...Want to catch an eel?" There's a mischievous look in her eyes as she looks to Alexa.
[23:55] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris popped up a few meters in front of them. "Cud-dles...are nice. Yes?" She wasn't sure what they meant by snakes, sea snakes, eels, or catching of the above, so she had her guard down if they tried anything.
[23:56] <Jran-Kri> "... Oh yes," Alexa grins back at Amelia, rising to a tense position. She glances over at Iris, nodding slowly. "Yes. Just lovely."
[23:57] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris tilted her head slightly, looking a bit confused at what Alexa seemed to be doing.

[00:01] <Tangent> Amelia's trying and failing to keep a straight face as she keeps glancing to Alexa. "Yep..." Mustn't...laugh..."Cuddles are...Now!" And she throws herself forwards off the bench, sending a splash at Iris with one hand!

[00:03] <Jran-Kri> Alexa follows hot on her heels, her hands lashing out as she cuts through the water to splash at Iris with a giggle.

[00:06] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris blinked and flinched back, instinctively shielding her arms as she rose most of the way out of the water and backpeddled. "W-what? A-Ame-li-a, w-what...?" She didn't seem capable of forming a more coherent question at that time.

[00:15] <Tangent> "Hey, get ba-ack!" Amelia jokes teasingly as she starts to wade after her...then blinks owlishly, splashing to a stop. "Ah..." Blushing furiously, she tears her gaze downwards. "Um...Iris..." And suddenly the prank's come skidding to a very awkward fault. "I...We...um, were going to splash you...for you know...Or something..." She trails off awkwardly, eyes downcast.
[00:18] <Jran-Kri> Alexa stops at around the same instant for the exact same reason. Her reaction is more immediate, however; she instantly claps her hands over her eyes and turns away, wheezing. Red as a polished apple, she resolutely refuses to look. "Y-yes. 'O-or s-something.'"
[00:21] <Tangent> "We...um...hadn't actually planned that far ahead..." Amelia babbles. The water's rippling and that's very interesting and she's going to keep looking at it and not look up. Also, she's pretty sure her cheeks are going to burn out if she keeps blushing. "Um, I-Iris, are you still...standing up?"
[00:23] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris straightened and blinked at them. "...Uhm. O-kay." The moment was awkward. Very awkward. Why, and how should she solve it...? At Amelia's question, she tilted her head. And then it hit her. "...Ah. Um..." Slowly, she knelt back down so that everything below her collarbone was underwater. "...I...am not stan-ding...now."
[00:26] <Jran-Kri> Alexa first peeks with the very corner of her peripheral vision, barely sliding her hand away from her eye to look over at Iris. She relaxes considerably when she sees Iris spoke truly. "L-lovely. Yes. Good. Much better."
[00:26] <Tangent> "Cool...T-thanks..." Amelia seems to be trying to vanish into the water entirely by the way her head's half-submerged as she awkwardly bobs back over to the benches. "Um. Sorry."
[00:31] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris scooted over to Amelia and playfully dumped some water on her head, using a summoned cup to do so. "I...will not...stand, if that...would be bet-ter," she said, a barely noticeable smirk visible on her face.
[00:33] <Jran-Kri> Alexa drifts uncomfortably after Amelia, snickering nervously with her crooked half-grin. She laughs again at Iris. "Much better," Alexa agrees. "I-i-it's i-indecent, you see."
[00:35] <Tangent> Splash. "H-hey!" Amelia splutters, laughing. "T-that's cheating! Abuse of magic! How could you?" She retaliates with a half-hearted splash. "And...um...yeah."
[00:35] <Tangent> *y-yeah...
[00:37] <DrEvilKitteh> Two cups were used this time, one to splash water onto each of the two girls' heads. Almost cheekily, Iris kicked back and backpeddled once more, though she made sure to keep everything, ah, "indecent" below the waterline.
[00:38] <Tangent> Amelia splutters a bit. "You know...." She says gravely, the fact that she looked like a drowned cat reducing the effect. "This means war."
[00:40] <Jran-Kri> Alexa is quite scandalized, sputtering and blinking water out of her wide eyes. She watches Iris go with a dark smirk. "You asked for it."
[00:41] <DrEvilKitteh> "O-kay." Iris merely flung another dual cups-full of water at them as she continued crab-walking back and sideways, going for the boulder for cover.
[00:45] <Tangent> "Get her!" Amelia comments, laughing- and she's on the offensive again, pulling her arms through the water to send an wave of water Iris's way!
[00:48] <Jran-Kri> Alexa sallies forth, her smaller frame's arms stretching out to catch a large gulf of water and heave it up and over at Iris!
[00:54] <Tangent> Teamwork!
[00:55] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris sent a few more splashes at the two and quickly darted behind the boulder for cover. Behind it, she ducked beneath the water and started to stealthily swim away, hoping that they'd follow her there and leave themselves open and confused in the process.
[00:57] <Tangent> "Charge!" Amelia squeaks, splashing forwards with arms flailing. "Huh?" She skids to a stop, looking at the water.
[00:59] <Jran-Kri> Alexa follows along, but is equally confused when they clear the boulder with their quarry nowhere in sight. "Blast. She's gone to ground."
[01:01] <DrEvilKitteh> Suddenly, a squirt of water hit the side of Amelia's head. Iris' hand was poking out of the water, and it was holding a water pistol. She used it to "shoot" at them a few more times, then the hand vanished beneath the water again as Iris relocated once more.

[01:18] <DrEvilKitteh> (So...anyone gonna post?)
[01:20] <Tangent> "Eep!" Amelia spins around. "Hey! That's cheating!" She grumbles, pushing the hair out of her eyes. "Get back here!" She wades through the water looking for Iris to pop up again.
[01:21] <Jran-Kri> Alexa jolts sharply in place, whirling to face the source of the assault. She seems more confused than anything. "I-I don't w-want to know wh-where she was h-hiding that," she mumbles to herself, before darting through the water after her.
[01:25] <DrEvilKitteh> From behind Alexa, Iris rose with one of those big wooden buckets in her hands. Before she could properly react to the slight sound, Iris dumped the water onto her head and ducked back down into the water, her head poking out as she swam away. The bucket bobbed in the rippling water near Alexa, since Iris had left it behind.
[01:26] <Tangent> "Got you!" Amelia lunges after Iris, actually leaping up out of the water!
[01:28] <Tangent> She misses, lands with a splash...and there's a loud clunk as an empty, spherical object gets hit and sinks into the water. Oh, and the bucket gets hit too.
[01:29] <Jran-Kri> Alexa whirls as she's drenched, blindly lashing out. Once her vision clears, however, she makes a triumphant sound as she makes to appropriate the bucket -- before Amelia leaps over at it. Squeaking, Alexa is splashed once again, and promptly hides beneath the water.
[01:29] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris turned and just stared at the scene. She didn't really know what to make of it. "...Um. Are...you two...still o-kay?" she hesitantly asked.
[01:30] <Tangent> Floating facedown, dazed, Amelia weakly raises a hand out of the water in a wave. She's bobbing just in front of Iris.
[01:32] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris reached forward and gingerly lifted Amelia's head out of the water. She wiped the Fire girl's wet hair aside and gave her a small smile.
[01:32] <Jran-Kri> Alexa is looking away from this scandalous scene, save for the occasional intermittent half-glance out of the corner of her eye. She silently seethes at Iris' closeness, fuming halfway in the water.
[01:34] <Tangent> "H-Hi..." Amelia squeaks, eyes wide. She makes no effort to move away.
[01:36] <DrEvilKitteh> Smile turned mischievous, Iris splashed a bit of water in Amelia's face, turned on her heel, and quickly swam away.
[01:42] <Tangent> Amelia splutters. "H-hey, y-you cheated again! Not fair!" She doesn't sound all that upset about it though as she gives chase, splashing with none of Iris's elegance.
[01:44] <DrEvilKitteh> "You let down...your guard," Iris shot back, circling around the boulder again. "I...just made sure...you were al-right. But...you did not...take ad-van-tage...to splash me."
[01:46] <Jran-Kri> "It's called decency, ever heard of it?" Alexa calls over. Now that the moment has more or less passed, Alexa drifts lazily after Amelia, keeping her distance this time.
[01:50] <Tangent> "Ah...Um...That doesn't count! Get back here and I'll show you taking advantage!" Amelia blinks, looking sheepish. "Um...that came out wrong."
[01:53] <DrEvilKitteh> "I thought...it was called...an in-vo-lun-tary re-action...called...be-ing flus-tered," Iris said, a small level of amusement apparent in her voice. She scoffed slightly at Amelia's verbal blunder and turned to splash some water at her using just her hands.
[01:55] <Jran-Kri> Alexa stares flatly at Amelia, one eye twitching. Creeping up behind her, she betrays her companion and splashes Amelia from behind.
[01:57] <Tangent> "Ah..." Amelia's interrupted by another spout of water. "Hey! Alexa, what was that for?" She spins around, half-standing...though unlike Iris she's barely at shoulder height where she's standing in the pool.
[01:59] <Jran-Kri> Alexa continues staring at her, still faintly red and with a slight smile tugging at her lip. "Phrasing."
[02:01] <Tangent> "Traitor." She grumbles good-naturedly, having the grace to blush a bit at that. A small wave at Alexa. She looks back to Iris. "Hey, want a ceasefire?"
[02:04] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris paused and looked from one to the other. "...O-kay." So she started splashing at Alexa as she moved forward next to Amelia.
[02:06] <Jran-Kri> "H-hey, wait!" Alexa retreats under this assault, laughing as she haphazardly splashes back. "Th-this w-wasn't how this was supposed to go!"
[02:12] <Tangent> "Give up! You're going to be splashed!" Amelia's giggling almost too much to give chase. "You brought this on..haha...yourself!"
[02:16] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris surged forward and bodily picked Alexa up from behind, holding her still and in a prime position for Amelia to splash her. Of course, she left the water covering the smaller girl's chest for the most part, but her hands were firmly holding Alexa by the waist. "Splash her," she bid Amelia, her own voice shaking slightly from soft laughter.
[02:17] <Tangent> "Justice." Amelia declares gravely- at least as gravely as she can manage while trying not to giggle- pulling her hand back and looking at Alexa. Then she winks...and splashes Iris instead. "Ha! Payback!"
[02:19] <Jran-Kri> Alexa shrieks, wriggling in Iris' grasp. Despite herself, there doesn't seem to be too much force behind her attempts to escape. Nonetheless, she looks quite aghast as Amelia approaches -- before relief takes her as Amelia comes through. Laughing, Alexa slithers out of Iris' grasp and into the water.
[02:20] <Tangent> Amelia smirks at Iris.
[02:21] <Tangent> *grins up
[02:21] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris flinched slightly, but unlike last time, she lunged forward. Through the splashes, she reached out and grabbed Amelia and brought her into a tight hug, chest against chest and upper abdomen. With that, she quickly hopped after Alexa, intent on bringing her into the hug by force as well.
[02:24] <Jran-Kri> With her smaller stature and general lack of experience with swimming, Alexa is not very quick, and is soon forcefully drawn into the hug much to her considerable protest. At least, for the first second. Then she goes quite quiet.
[02:25] <Tangent> Amelia gasps in surprise as Iris pulls her into a warm, soft hug. Iris can probably feel the way her heart's pouding as Iris half pulls her out of the water...But she doesn't say anything. Verbally anyway, other than an incoherent eep.
[02:30] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris hopped over to a bench at the edge of the pool and sat on it. Amelia and Alexa were set in her lap, shoulder-to-shoulder with their backs to Iris and her arms around them. "...There. I...win," she declared, still in her soft voice.
[02:31] <Tangent> "Y-yeah..."
[02:31] <Jran-Kri> "... Y-yes," Alexa admits in little more than a squeak, staring straight ahead. "Yes, you... c-certainly do."
[02:35] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris leaned back against the pool and snuggled both of them closely. "Now...you are...cud-dling pro-perly." She squeezed the two lightly.

[02:36] <Jran-Kri> "... Y-yes," Alexa says again. She shifts slightly in place. "I suppose we are."
[02:37] <Tangent> Amelia's wide-eyed, feeling Iris's water-slick arms...and body against her. The snuggle sets her off again- she's sure she's blushing enough for a lifetime. "Oh...I...I guess you're the expert..." She stammers.
[02:41] <DrEvilKitteh> Iris exhaled through her nose in contentment and settled back, relaxing with both of the girls held in her embrace. She was evidently intent on relaxing while cuddling them.
[02:53] <DrEvilKitteh> (Alright, both of you are tired. We can figure out how to continue and probably end this tomorrow, if you two are available for it. Now go sleeep~)
