  4. I. To defy the code is to defy the will of the universe. You live by the code and you die for the code.

  6. II. A promise made is a promise that is to be kept. Your word is your bond.

  8. III. Romantic entanglements cloud one’s judgement and are absolutely forbidden in every and all forms.
  9.  
  10. IV. Never insert yourself into matters without invitation. However if you ask and permission is granted, action is demanded.
  11.  
  12. V. If you unsheathe your blade it will not be sheathed again until it has felt blood. Either your’s or your foe’s.
  13.  
  14. VI. A stagnant mind leads to a stagnant body, and a stagnant body leads to weakness. Idleness is your worst enemy.

  16. VII. Be an example of the code, and therefore, of strength.

  18. VIII. Your emotions, whilst seemingly powerful, only tempt you away from the path of balance(and through balance comes strength). You must always strive to keep them in check. Use them, do not let them use you.

  20. IX. Strength comes in many forms, you will respect it wherever ,and however,
  21. you see it.

  23. X. The code is your purpose and having a true purpose is the path to everlasting strength. It is not your place to question it but to obey it.

  25. XI. You will never turn down an offer to test your strength.
  26. Even in defeat you can gain knowledge.

  28. XII. True strength comes from balance in all things. Indulgence of any sort ,for anything, will lead to your downfall.

  30. XIII. You are a warrior first and foremost but you are absolutely not a murderer. Never seek to end a life. However, if someone dares to raise their blade against you then their fate is already sealed.

  32. XIV. Every defeated foe deserves last rites.
  33. “May you find the strength in death you did not find in life. I hope to see you on the other side.” Recite these words exactly.

  35. XV. Every defeated foe deserves a quick death. There is no strength in elongating a demise. They are beaten. Do what must be done.

  37. XVI. If you are bested on the battlefield then accept your defeat with dignity and pride. Your failure is their success.

  39. XVII. You will never, under any circumstances, ask for mercy but if it is bestowed upon you then you may take it

  41. XVIII. Combat is an art and like any art it demands constant practice lest you fall into mediocrity. Drill your maneuvers every sunset and sunrise.

  43. XIX. You must not forget about the strength of the mind. Meditation is key to this endeavor.

  45. XX. The weak and downtrodden are not your responsibility to protect. If they can ever hope to rise up then they must learn to protect themselves.

  47. XXI. There are other ways of life besides the code and whilst you may have chosen this path, others may not have. You will not judge them for this decision.

  49. XXII. You are a servant of the code. You serve no master other than the code.
  50. No man, living or dead, has higher authority over you than the code.
  51. There is no life or death, there is only the code.
  52. There is no thought, there is only the code.
  53. There is no choice, there is only the code.
  54. You have strength through utter and complete submission to the code.
