× PERSONALITY: A person with a horrible and abusive past. Hence she doesn't trust people at all. The only person she trusts is the person who saved her from her abusive parents, Hwang Minhyun. She bottles up her feelings towards people. She wants to bright and free, different from her past. But the people's reaction towards her makes it hard to do so. She wants to help people and be friends with them, but no one is ready to be with her. So she is depressed and she ends up helping the hurt animals on the street. She is actually scared of people because everyone has been harsh towards her. × HER FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH HANAHAKI DISEASE: she was 16 years old when she first coughed up flower petals. She became worried about this and searched it up everywhere. Ultimately she learnt about this disease as being a sign of unrequitted love. She used to cough a lot initially but it started decreasing slowly when she learnt to move on from her unrequitted first love. Although it was painful in the start, she learnt to finally let go her past and move on with her future.

× HOW DID HE FALL IN LOVE WITH HER: he was a new student to this school for the past couple of years. He experienced love at first sight with this girl and he was determined to make her his. But then he witnessed people calling her horrible names and asked everyone why she was called so. But everyone spoke ill about her to him so that he would also start hating her but none of the answers satisfied him as he found out a strange habit of the girl - crying alone in the school garden. Everyone knew that she would cry but no one tried to approach her and ask her why. Instead they called her with filthy nicknames. So he hated how people called her names without knowing her truth and so he was curious about this girl from the moment he saw such a situation at the school. As he learnt about her life, he started to fall in love with her more deeper. Knowing about her was never easier because she turned up a cold front towards him. But he was determined and understood her very well that she just needed sometime to trust him. She even told him about her unrequitted love and he was hurt but still he was determined and managed to keep a strong front just for her. The actual reason for the hate towards her is because she was beautiful (not extremely beautiful or something, but plainly beautiful) and pleasing to look at.
× HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT HIM: initially she did not feel like she could trust him because he could be another trap of misery in her life. So she was hesitant and cold towards him. But after seeing him putting in so much effort just to befriend her moved her heart because she was so touched that someone was really willing to be a support for her unbalanced self till the end. So she slowly started trusting him and started opening up to him. She even toldhim about her crush on Hwang Minhyun. Finally when he confessed to her, she saw his determination in making her smile everyday and unknowingly she also started falling in love with him.
