Basically I was in a RP with "Kai"
just now. And he was asking bout my character's goddess and beliefs etc
my char said she is protected to a degree by her (RP story rather than literally)
I have a special power I wanna application -- so just assumed I would not need to use it so darn soon, --
Anyways:
basically upon either feeling ego attacked or...maybe ignored that he could not change Kahina's faith
he godmodded putting a dagger to my neck and cutting it. Not alot but..still.
I counter emoted, even if unapproved yet, as i had no other option
to use her 'power' (more mins') to bsically immobolize him to the point he could not injure my character - i even attempted. instead of as he just going "cuts her neck"
and then got an OOC "I'm not affected by any magic so you'll just have to dodge"
basically.
I got screens also
but i feel it was very..just ugh.
Like I was planning to hopefully get the special power kah has seen to, but due to trying to save my char from being godmodded (Cos cutting a neck even lgihtly can kill someone...)
I had to use it in some defence emote...but even then was told by him it would be useless so. >.

So yeah.

TLDR:

Got a godmod dagger to the neck and cut in an emote.

Went to dodge and retaliate with a defence of Magic (Unapproved, yet I know I'm sorry..I panicked!)

Got told my magic would not lorewise affect him and so i should just dodge..

So i dodged, and jsut walked off I have screens also

also totally understandable about the power card. also he has no powercard stating magic doesnt work against him.

I may have double screened in slight panic cos sometimes my button does not work..
but
basically;
it felt as I had little choice but to ONLY dodge, and so I did and walked off cos..I felt very out of place.
But yeah, I did not mean to use an unauthorized power..as i've yet to get the card but..
did not want my character who IC is not a fighter, or really anything like that to die so quick so..
yeah, I'm sorry on the account of using an unauthorized power but..
