Niria the Proud (Legendary Champion)
The humbly-born warrior queen known for founding the kingdom of Ataleta and her heroics in the ensuing civil war against Karaminia, Niria the Proud has long been honored as an exemplar of valor and martial prowess.
Gaining Favor: To gain Niria the Proud's favor, you must travel to the site of any major battle won by Ataletan forces, any settlement with an active and organized militia comprising half or more of its population and well-maintained defensive fortifications, or the fortress known as Niria's Redoubt. Once there, you must vow to never retreat from a fight, whether physical, verbal, or metaphorical, without the intention to resume it from a position of greater advantage in the near future. You then must name one such endeavor you intend to resume, and succeed at a Strength check before Niria will answer your call.
Taboo: If you accept a taboo while channeling Niria, you must never let an insult to you or a close companion of yours go unchallenged.
Forceful Swing (Intermediate, Su)
You may treat any light weapons you wield as one-handed weapons, and any one-handed weapons you wield as two-handed weapons, for the purposes of all abilities and requirements. While doing so, increase the damage dice of the weapon by one step. You must choose to use this ability before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn.
Implacable Defense (Greater, Su)
In any round when you move less than half of your base speed and are wearing light or no armor and not using a shield, you gain a dodge bonus to your Armor Class equal to your Charisma bonus (minimum 1). If you are caught flat-footed or otherwise denied your Dexterity bonus, you also lose this bonus.
If an attack against you misses by 10 or more while this bonus is active, you can make an attack of opportunity against the attacking creature, so long as they are within reach.
This ability replaces Fleet Charge.
