- i. Information
- SPV3 is the culmination of a vision that was started over 10 years ago, to revamp the original Halo campaign with features and ideas
- from later games, expanded fiction, and cut content originally envisioned for Halo CE. With a strong emphasis of preserving the
- addictive and tuned gameplay of the original, and a stellar Legendary difficulty, SPV3 focuses extensively on retaining that Halo CE
- feel.
- SPV3 makes use of a variety of add ons to Halo Custom Edition. For this reason, SPV3 is bundled seperately and is not meant to replace any
- existing game files. However, in order to RUN SPV3, you must have a legit install of Halo Custom Edition. This requires a CD key.
- We highly advise all of you to use a legally acquired CD-Key in order to install Halo Custom Edition. However, Halo CE can not be
- purchased in all countries from the usual places. Third parties sometimes sell used CD keys, which you can find through google.
- If you attempt to use a cracked version, SPV3 will not run. Again, the official installer must be used with a CD-Key.
- We highly suggest all players, no matter how experienced they are begin the game with Pillar of Autumn, as there are so many new
- features and additions. Each level introduces you to new abilities, weapons, enemies and vehicles, and you will be overwhelmed simply
- jumping into what may have been your previously favorite map. We also highly suggest you not play Noble Difficulty until completing
- SPV3 on Legendary, as it is a new even harder experience that will test even the most seasoned Halo and SPV3 players.

- ii. Quick Install Guide
- You have downloaded either 1 of 2 files for SPV3, either the mod contents which is for people who have
- Halo Custom Edition installed, or one for people brand new to Halo Custom Edition.
- 1. If you do not have Halo Custom Edition installed, run the installer and enter in your CD-Key.
- 2. Right click and extract SPV3_1_0.zip to any folder of your chosing. We highly advise putting it on your SSD rather than HDD if you have
- the option.
- 3. Click SPV3.exe. Some versions of windows may give you a warning it is from an unknown publisher. This is normal, continue.
- 4. SPV3.exe will launch our custom launcher, follow the instructions in it in order to run the game.

- iii. Issue Reporting
- CMT maintains a discussion forum at www.reddit.com/r/halospv3 . Issues may be reported in the SPV3 bugs and feedback thread stickied at the top.
- The map does have a few rare (but known) issues, which will be addressed if possible in maintenance releases. This includes a crash to desktop
- when falling through the map, and rarely if you vehicle is destroyed near the ends of TSC:E and AOTCR. In the event of a crash, simply boot the
- game back up, and hit continue.

- -Active Camo can be seen by Covenant when sprint or VISR is activated, or if Health Regen is equipped.
- -Falling through the map will result in crash.
- -Lighting in AOTCR is still not final.
- -vehicle health system can glitch and "jam" your shields. You'll just have to enter and exit the vehicles until we have a fix.
- -Autoaim can still act wonky on Phantom gunners.
