-yuna wasn't born into a filthy rich family, but they never had to worry about money. she was a single child living with both of her parents. her dad was a commercial realtor and her mom, a salon owner. they had both gone to college and spent many years in their respective professions. when she was 7, her mom walked in on her dad cheating. yuna's dad moved to seoul by the next week. he supported them and gave them some of his income, but yuna and her mother weren't able to enjoy regular shopping sprees and nights out to eat anymore. they moved into a small apartment for nearly 3 years, then went to kyoto to live with yuna's maternal grandmother. for the first time, yuna was in an unfamiliar city with unfamiliar people and an unfamiliar language. the unfamiliarity was overwhelming. but she soon discovered that, strangely enough, she could find a sense of escape and relaxation in public speaking. she had a natural knack for it, and often reported the newest happenings of the primary school hallways to her mom, who was now stressfully juggling two jobs. when she entered high school, she took any debate and journalism classes she could. by the time she graduated, she was already certified in all the this-and-that's of the entertainment and publishing world. now it's that passion and talent that makes her famous on the television.



personality:
-learning from her experiences as a child, and having to go from the high rung on the ladder to the low, yuna appreciates the life she can now enjoy. her tendency to act entitled still resurfaces from time to time, though, and she's often criticized for being too proud and blunt. being in the know all the time makes her constantly want to know what's going on with everyone, and she'll even admit to her nosiness. if it's not her business, she'll make it so. she's particular with the people she loves, still cautious since her dad broke her heart so long ago. she only has a handful of people who she considers friends, and the rest are people she tolerates. don't think she's plastic, though. if she dislikes someone, she will make sure they know. it takes a lot of persistence and patience to get to know her, but once she lets someone in, they see the cute and carefree side of yuna. the side who only has rainbow sprinkles on her ice cream and still prefers bubble baths over showers. the side of yuna who will stick up for a loved-one faster than herself, the side who never judges a book by its cover, and the side who's fluent in 3 languages (mandarin, korean, and japanese).

personality:
-tries to act cool and confident, but is truly clumsy and has no real experience with girls. spends a lot of time on his appearance. his inner-child never left him.

childhood stories:
-when she was 5, he took her to his uncle's farm and they snuck into the chicken coop. they forgot to close the door behind them and a dozen hens and roosters started to panic and run away. instead of closing the door, the kids tried to catch them. they couldn't, and all of the chickens ran away, never to be seen again.
-he showed her how to make instant ramen for the first time, and so for her 8th birthday, bought her a giant box of noodles.
-when she moved away, he would sneak under the covers at night with his dad's phone and facetime her. sometimes they talked about simple things like what they had for breakfast, and other times she'd rant about the hard times she'd be having lately and they'd cry together until they fell sleep.
-when high school became more demanding, they grew farther apart. but, yuna always compared the boys she met to him.

-he has to go through a maze and correctly figure out clues and puzzles to find open passageways and find her at the end.


interactions:
-at first, it's giggling and blushing and stuttering. they both remember how they felt about each other but don't know how to express it anymore.
-they start to warm up and joke around. they tease each other and act like siblings, always poking fun at whatever the other does.
-they realize they're not just kiddy friends anymore, and embrace the fact that they have the chance to make something out of this. he gets braver and flirts and she enjoys his company more than anything. they're not very affectionate in public, but they love to cuddle otherwise.
