- Suzaku: The Hoenn Region was no different from other regions, in terms of being scarred from the Reckoning. The region is known for its many tropical-like
- environments; however, after the Reckoning, those environments have become the distortion of what they once were. Suzaku, along with his friends Jin and
- Ana, have come to arrive in Lilycove City, one of Hoenn’s formerly known hotspots due to the Grand Contest Hall and department store. Unfortunately, after the Reckoning had transpired, a majority of Lilycove had been swallowed by the sea, along with the Grand Contest Hall, Cove Lily Motel and the harbor which
- allowed transportation to Slateport City. Suzaku had come on this journey with his good ole’ friends in favor of us Jin who approached him with a request of his aid on a current assignment he was working on. After being recruited by the Pokémon Protection Agency (PPA), an organization that had been formed shortly after the Reckoning to preserve the crime-rate and illegal trafficking of Pokémon, he had quickly traversed through their ranks and was of the first to be given the rank of “Field Agent”.
- Upon reaching their destination that was Lilycove City, one could already take notice of what had been swallowed up by the sea and had taken severe water damage, as Lilycove didn’t seem to be tended to even after these five years. “Ooo, finally here.~ Tell me Jin, what is it you said we came here for? This is quite a while from my place. Ugh, poor Haruka is going to soooo alone without me. I pray that dear girl resumes her training while I’m gone, don’t you agree Shiro?” Suzaku had said towards his Leafeon, the Verdant Pokemon that walked by his side, lifting its head up to its trainer and letting forth a mew in response.
- Ace: Jin, alongside his two most closest companions, traveled to Lilycove City in order to investigate several incidents within the former glory of the populace. The sea had risen to flood most of the eastern side of Lilycove, forcing the citizenry to evacuate to higher levels of terrain in order to survive. Even then, living around there was hard, with the increase in crime suddenly along with several other unknown issues. Having been dispatched to the location, Jin thought it wise to seek the help of an old friend, none other than the reliable Suzaku despite the man’s outerlying personality. As for Anavina, Jin had suggested she stay behind, but after having been separated so many times in the past she grew rather protective of the ideal of staying nearby him, which wasn’t a problem thankfully. As the trainer trotted over to the remains of what was originally a beachside area, Jin crossed his arms over his chest and let out a faint sigh before replying to Suzaku’s inquiry. “The PPA’s got a good lead on Lilycove here. Said there’s a place here that’s being used as a expo of sorts, like an outpost, for Pokemon trafficking that is.
- Even worse, I heard there’s a few people also being sold off as well. Not really a big surprise, but… you can already guess who those people are.” Glancing over his shoulder towards Anavina he frowned, turning forward again and speaking up once more. “They’re women, no doubt. Things have gotten pretty bad. Whatever and whoever is worth something then people will end up selling it one way or another.” Instead of his casual attire, Jin wore what looked to be the uniform of a PPA officer, no doubt to look somewhat intimidating and official anywhere he went on the job. The jacket he wore also came with a hood, which he donned quite often nowadays to hide his visage from prying eyes. “It’s almost sundown. We move soon. There’s several warehouses nearby just a few blocks down. That’s where we’ll start, but keeps your wits about you. The past five years hasn’t been exactly kind to Lilycove, and none of us know who or maybe what’s around now.”
- Queen: Ana didnt mind him joining that of the PPA, she even encouraged him to be apart of it. As for her, she felt that it was just going to be a mountainfull of paperwork and other boring stuff so she declined but decided that she would tag along with Ace if he had to go. Can't end up losing him after all that they went through to get to this point. Over the years, she did grow to become more attached to him but to Suzaku as well, even though she knew that he would be able to take care of himself if need be. Not to say that Jin couldnt do so himself. Once they had reached that of Lilycove City, she felt fluff attacking her in the form of her Arcanine attacking her. "W-What?" Of course she was asleep, that part of her didn't change but it never grew into her deeply sleeping. Such a light-sleeper, she breifly heard most of their conversation and decided that she would just follow. "Oh, wow. This place looks really bad. Might wanna put you up for the time being, Arc." The Arcanine at first was defiant about it but seeing how the water was almost all around, he agreed jumping into the ball as she held it out for him. "Okay, so where exactly are we going?"
- Suzaku: As Suzaku talked to Jin about the run-down and what exactly they’d be doing, they would be slightly interrupted by the newly awoken Ana who rode
- the back of her large fire-dog, Arcanine. Seeing as how she came to place the Legendary Pokemon back in its ball and question the two of where they were
- head, Suzaku couldn’t help but sigh and turn to Jin. “You surely picked a keeper, Jin.” Suzaku had said with subtle sarcasm as he turned to Ana and
- clenched one of her cheeks, tugging it lightly as if ploy to taunt her. “We are going to look through these warehouses to see if some bad stuff is going down, right Jin?” He said as he smirked in his direction before pacing back away from the group. “Right then, shall we head into the city… or what’s left of it?” He asked as he began to lead the way. Lilycove was certainly in a decrepit condition, especially walking down what would be the main street that led into the city. Those whom had lost their homes and had become stricken with poverty sat huddled in the crevice of buildings and warehouses. The weather wasn’t very keen either, as being closer to water brought about a chill to the air that caused most to shiver if a gust of wind blew passed their way.
- Suzaku would certainly feel the brunt of this, considering the wardrobe he dawned everywhere he went, consisting of nothing but a silken, crimson kimono that was left pardoned over his right shoulder, exposing much of his left half to the elements. Suzaku and his companions had thus begun to do what Ace had instructed, as they made rounds to the several of warehouses that lied just on the outskirts of Lilycove. Upon reaching their third one, the sun had begun to retreat towards the West, bringing forth nightfall. Suzaku looked to Jin with somewhat of concern, “Night draws closer, Jin. What do you want to do?” Suzaku asked as his hand retreated to his side of where his Leafeon stood, working his fingers behind one of the Verdant Pokemon’s ears as he scratched the spot gently. Just as the sun fell; however, strange noises would begin to emanate from the warehouse they stood in front of, the sound of what appeared
- to be the opening and closing of a metal door that slid on a track. “Did you hear that?” Suzaku asked as he looked to his friends for assurance that it just
- wasn’t him hearing the noises, though it would be evident as his Leafeon had also shot its up head up in alert, looking around for the source of the sound.
- Queen: As she begun to fully wake herself up to all that was going on around her, a gust of wind blew past her ruffling her skirt just a bit. "Damn it, why did this have to be in Lilycove! Why not somewhere with a decent climate or anything warmer?" Hearing Suzaku's commentary to her earlier remark only had her rolling her eyes at him. Ana frantically moved her arms up and down for jokes as she pretended that the cheek pinch hurt. "Ow. Wouldjaletitgo?" Once he did, all she did was huff. Her glance moved over to Jin, nodding to him. Seeing as to how this was serious business, she had to stay up for this. "I know that, but the sleep never came. Guess I was too excited about this or something." Even though they were investigating here in Lilycove, it seemed like bad things were always happening and especially around them. Her bikes were a prime example of this. But she had paid no mind to it all. Well, not now anymore. Hearing a sound as they drew closer to the warehouse made her move closer to Jin. Though she puts up a violent act, she is nothing but a big softie when it came to stuff like this.
- Ana honestly only comes to these things just to make sure that Jin was alright, but as everyone else did, she held her hand on her poke belt to see what family member she would be pulling out for this.
- Suzaku: It was true, the band of three were in fact left without much options of approaching the warehouse, so it did appear that the three had to enter from the front; however, such things wouldn’t be done without caution as Suzaku withdrew a Poke Ball of his own from inside his robes. “Well, best not take any risks while we’re at it. Hayato, scout the area!” Suzaku went ahead and tossed that Poke Ball high into the air, the capsule bursting open as a mass of
- light was released, taking shape of some avian creature before fully materializing into that of a Talonflame. A Fire-and Flying-type that is native to the region of Kalos, the Scorching Pokémon had taken to the skies, flying just passed the window on the side of the warehouse. “Hayato, tell me if you see anything.” Suzaku had asked of his companion, to which the firebird squawked in response. The Talonflame had thus peered through the window as his trainer had instructed, taking a careful observation of what lied inside. The Talonflame turned to its trainer and his friends as it let forth another squawk as if to signal to them that there were indeed people inside. Suzaku looked to Jin as he smirked, a strange yet not surprising reaction, especially from this man. It was like he was almost excited to go inside. “Seems we’re in luck, Jin.” Suzaku had said, propping himself in front of the door as his hand moved to take up the hilt of the sword that remained in its sheath, slung at his back. “So, any other plans before we charge in? I’m all ears.” Suzaku had said, turning to look over his shoulder at the other two before looking down at the Leafeon that stood by his side. “Stay with me, alright Shiro?” The Leafeon let out a mew as it sunk back on its hind legs, ready to charge as well. Suzaku then looked to Hayato who remained hovering just by the window of the warehouse. “Hayato remain out here just in case our ‘friends’ decide to signal for help.” The Scorching Pokémon squawked in affirmative as it took to a higher altitude to keep a close look on things.
- Ace: Giving his significant other a firm pat on the shoulder, Jin gave a reassuring smile towards Anavina before they’d begin the real investigation. “If things get bad, hang back. These are real people that we might be up against, with weapons no less. I can deal with them since I’ve had the experience, but don’t push your luck. Same goes for you too, Suzaku.” Turning towards the other member of their party he nodded at Suzaku, wanting to make sure the two of them knew what could happen and the drill for when things got bad. “Anyways… from what Hayato just ‘said’, there are apparently people in there. Wait just a sec… Boris, see if you can slink around in there and see what they’re up to.” From the very sphere that Jin held came a tree-like Pokemon, emerging in a bolt of light that escaped from the capsule. Low groans escaped the Trevenant’s maw as its scarlet eye glanced at the others, blinking several times before lowering a wooden arm to pat the Leafeon on its head. “Phantom Force, Boris.” With a confirming look towards his trainer, Boris then seemingly disappeared from sight, melting into the shadows below and swiftly darting into the warehouse. Inside the building were of course, people, dressed like normal people seemingly. A few had small firearms, while most had Pokemon doing the labor of hauling up crates full of unknown contents. The boxes themselves were being heaved up from an underground tunnel of sorts, which led to the stairs giving way into the warehouse. All of this would be told in great detail in the form of telepathy thanks to Marie, Jin’s Reuniclus. Once Boris returned from its scouting mission it would meet the said psychic Pokemon, who was released not long after the Trevenant went inside. Both of Marie’s arms extended, one touching Boris’s head while the other laid a gentle palm on Jin’s forehead as well. “…I see. They’re armed. Underground operation, literally. That explains why nobody saw them. From what I can tell so far, they’ve got
- Ace: boxes of stuff, most likely Pokemon. Hoards of them maybe, who knows. Or it could just be weapons. Either way, we’re going to have to go in and take
- them out. Remember, incapacitate only, no killing if you can help it. As for the Pokemon working in there, do the same. We can’t have casualties happening in
- this mission. Understand you two?” Jin then breathed deep through his nose, steeling himself as he recalled Marie back into her Pokeball. “On the count of
- three. One…” ||
- While the Talonflame was high in the air scouting, she tried to pay attention to the noise inside. But from where she was standing, it didnt help at all. Ana smiled at her other half as he was telling her to be safe. It was just like them to look out for each other like this. But at the same time, she didnt want to feel or be useless. She took his words into consideration and would heed by them but she wasn't going to stand in the back while they both kicked ass. Wasnt going to happen. "Alright, time to shine Xero." And within seconds, a Zebstrika came onto the scene, affectionately nuzzing that of his trainer, causing her smile to widen more. Ana was thinking that maybe she could shut down whatever machine they were using with Xero here. It was worth a shot. "Two." It was game time. Her heart pumping fast with adrenaline. Ana had hoped that they were just dealing with Pokemon here. Weapons were going to be bad. She could get all the Pokemon out and to safely if that was the case. ( end. )
- Suzaku: “…Three! Shiro use Iron Tail on the door!” And at the end of their countdown, Suzaku had given a command to his faithful partner, Leafeon. The
- Verdant Pokemon quickly leaping into the air as its body came to spin around in mid-air. That leaf-like tail of his taking on a bright, white glow before the
- entirety of its tail solidified into that of metal. The tail came to slash away at the sturdy door that stood in their way, certainly alerting those on the other-side
- that they were about to have ‘unexpected visitors’. Shiro’s tail was successful in cleaving the door in literal two parts as it fell in on itself and revealing the
- interior of the warehouse. Two people who were dressed normally as the Trevenant had gathered before, stood at the entrance of the warehouse with small
- firearms already drawn. Though, the moment the pieces of the door fell, Suzaku found himself already inside while closed-in on one of the people who guarded
- the door. “W-What the…?!” The person had said in utter [c]
- Suzaku: surprise before Suzaku quickly spun around and brought the end of his sword cracking right up against the left-side of the man’s temple. The man
- quickly dropped to the floor before the other threw up his gun, to which Suzaku unsheathed his sword and slash in his general direction, the gun itself coming
- to fall apart in his hand while also cutting up the man’s hand as well causing him to fall to his knees and scream in agony. This alerted the other people who
- were actively working in the warehouse, quickly turning their attention to the band of three while a voice had echoed throughout the warehouse, barking orders
- to the others. “We have intruders! Dispose of them quickly!” Suddenly, gunshots began to go off all over the warehouse, their aim most likely towards the front
- entrance where Suzaku and his friends would be entering. “Quickly, take cover!” Suzaku shouted back to his friends, as he withdrew behind large, steel crate
- with Leafeon by his side. [e]
- Suzaku: ( Some music to liven things up a bit http://youtu.be/0z8t8cLr748 )
- Ace: The moment Anavina and Suzaku prepared themselves, Jin would find the kimono-clad individual of the three of them bursting in first with the preemptive
- attack. “Jay, go! You know what to do! Boris, on me!” Suddenly the form of a fearsome Scizor burst forth from Jin’s belt, subsequently jetting forward past
- Suzaku and Anavina to take the fight head on. Thankfully Jay’s steel-type attribute allowed him to take miniscule amounts of damage from the bullets, seeing
- as the guns were being fired right off the bat. In response to this, the Scizor promptly proceeded to knock out several of the henchmen with a quick succession
- of Bullet Punches, all aimed for the midsection or head area to primarily incapacitate like explained before. One unlucky individual would find himself staring
- into Jay’s wide-eyed visage, having been subjected to a steel pincer clamping down on the hand which held the gun. Whether bone was broken or not, Jin
- didn’t seem to mind, and was moreso focused on keeping the +
- Ace: others safe with Boris taking the charge right behind. Several stray bullets managed to head towards their way, but it wasn’t anything the Trevenant’s
- Reflect couldn’t handle thankfully. “Take out the guys with the guns first!” One nearby assailant then attempted to draw a knife on Jin, though the attacker was
- then met with a firm response in the form of a disarming maneuver. Jin darted to the side to avoid the headlong assault, smashing a fist into the knife-wielder’s
- elbow joint while grabbing hold of the wrist with a free hand. Shortly afterwards the opponent was sent backwards and unconscious with an elbow to the face,
- though this left Jin unwary to the approaching Machoke that managed to tackle the trainer into a nearby box, causing it to smash underneath him from the
- impact. “Agh!” Several of the grunts were now releasing their Pokemon at this point, making them attack the party of three directly with the intent to maim or
- worse. ||
- Suzaku: Things became heated now that these people were made aware of Suzaku and others’ presence and with
- the way they executed their actions, their intent was kill. Suzaku remained behind the steel crate for coverage but
- seeing how Jin was tackled into another steel crate by Machoke, he couldn’t take cover for much longer. Suzaku
- quickly brought a hand inside his robe, pulling out another Poke Ball as he tossed it freely, a mass of light bursting
- forth from the capsule as it struck the ground and took the form of a Gardevoir. “Izanami, assist Jin quickly! Psychic
- and send that Machoke flying!” The Gardevoir then took action at the command of its trainer, both hands coming up
- infront of it as it faced its palms in the direction of the Machoke. The Machoke would suddenly be overtaken by a
- slim aura of blue as it body levitated away from Jin and propelled in the opposite direction, the body of the
- Superpower Pokemon coming to crash into at least three thugs and knocking them out. Suzaku [c]
- Suzaku: then looked to his Leafeon that stuck by his side, nodding as he smiled. “Shiro, Aerial Ace! Take out the
- ones who are perched up on the upper level.” Leafeon mewed out affirmatively before darting off into the open until its
- form took on a white outline before the Verdant Pokemon’s feet literally left the ground and was now running across
- the air. Having their attention drawn to the Leafeon who was literally running on thin-air, they began to shoot at it,
- though Shiro simply just moved too quickly for them as he ended up colliding into one of them and knocking them off
- the upper level. The Leafeon then continued to clear the upper level on its own, being more than capable of handling
- itself without its trainer’s aid. However, more thugs continued to pile into the warehouse from the underground portion
- in which they were transporting caged Pokémon, two of them tossing up Poke Balls as they released what Pokémon
- they held, one being Exploud while another was a Graveler. “Well… this [c]
- Suzaku: going to be interesting.” Suzaku said to himself as he was now faced with two formidable Pokémon as well
- as their armed trainers. [e]
- Ace: Having been flung backwards by a rather forceful body check maneuver, Jin would feel a groan escape past his
- gritted teeth, rubbing his backside from the impact on the crate and wincing slightly at the same time. “God dammit
- that hurt…” Meanwhile both Boris and Jay were still dealing with the current dangers ahead, and thankfully the latter
- had managed to disarm the last of the grunts wielding guns and weaponry of the similar sort. Both of Jin’s Pokemon
- then turned their attention to the Graveler and Exploud that were sent out afterwards, with the Trevenant now lowering
- its Reflect guard to sink away into the shadows below. With it being past the evening hours, the shroud of darkness
- was plentiful all around them, save for the artificial lightning inside the warehouse of course. Executing a Phantom
- Force attack, Boris then took the offensive and reappeared underneath Graveler’s casted shadow, an ominous red
- eye glaring at the rock-type from its backside in a threatening manner. +
- Kaffrey has left ( ᴘᴋᴍɴ ʀᴇᴄᴋᴏɴɪɴɢ );
- Ace: With that said, a large wooden claw draped in what appeared to be oozing dark matter lashed forward, rending
- the Graveler immediately with significant force backed behind it. To add onto this, Jay then moved to follow up with
- the sneak-attack, acting as a distraction until Boris landed the attack to create a staggering motion in its opponent.
- A steel pincer of scarlet shot forth, enveloped in a metallic glow than went smashing right into the Graveler’s face, no
- doubt a Bullet Punch hitting its mark with an extreme amount of velocity packed with it. Jin’s Pokemon had no
- problem acting on their own, which was all the more better considering the trainer was currently recomposing himself
- in the meantime. Once he stood up again Jin gave Suzaku a thumbs-up, indicating that he was alright for the
- meantime while finding cover behind the very crate he’d been thrown against earlier. “Don’t let them throw out
- anymore Pokemon! Take out the lackies first!” This command was aimed at both Jin’s +
- Kaffrey has entered ( ᴘᴋᴍɴ ʀᴇᴄᴋᴏɴɪɴɢ );
- Ace: Pokemon and Suzaku, which he hoped would end this skirmish quickly before they’d tire themselves out.
- “There’s no telling how many Pokemon they have packed in those crates. Worst case scenario, we end up dealing
- with a lot more than we should be,” he voiced to Suzaku again. ||
- Queen: A shriek was heard from the pink haired female as she heard the sounds of guns from inside. Her immediate reaction was to duck and so she did, crawling towards the main door of the place. Once she reached, she had already saw that her Zebstrika was in a match with a Houndoom which led Ana to then get up and look around only to find that of a Machoke bumrushed her lover. It honestly ticked her off. Once she moved herself behind a steel box, she moved her hand over to her belt once more releasing another one of her pokemon into this crazed madness only to find that he was safe and the Machoke was dealt with by Suzaku's pokemon. Which then, her attention moved back to her Zebstrika and the opposing Houndoom which looked like it wanted to take down her zebra with no remorseful attachement. While the boys continued to take down more of the lackeys, she only wanted to make sure that the pokemon involved were safe. "Xero, use Shock Wave and then follow up with Bounce.
- Hearing the command of his trainer he only followed suit. The Houndoom caught onto the movements but it wasnt quick enough. It was hit with the discharge which then paralyzed it in its spot before Xero then used Bounce. Ana was glad that it had paralyzed in the first move so that it would be taken out rather quickly. "Don't forget about the pokemon! We have to make sure that they are alright too!" She cried out to both her companions.
- Suzaku: The Graveler that was sent out before Suzaku was suddenly dispatched, thanks to the aid of Jin’s Scizor
- and Trevenant. This left only the Exploud remaining, who rotated its arms as if it was ready to fight. “Exploud, get
- ‘em. Use Uproar!” Just then, the thug’s Exploud had suddenly taken in a vast amount of air through its mouth,
- before the pipes coating its body began to flex. A harsh noise was then emitted from them, powerful enough to
- certainly cause some sort of minor staggering, especially in trainers. Suzaku, upheld by the rather loud noise, drew
- back a bit. “Ergh… this infernal racket.” A bolt of lightning was then shot out from out of nowhere, striking the
- Exploud and even paralyzing it to some extent, causing it to cease its Uproar. Suzaku then looked to his Gardevoir,
- who had her hands extended while left with some residual electrical energy coating them. Suzaku nodded to Izanami,
- being left with a clear opening in dealing with the armed trainers that the Pokemon had [c]
- Suzaku: belonged, as he quickly dashed in their general direction before taking up his blade. The thugs seemed
- rather thrown off by Suzaku’s impressive speed, hastily bringing their weapons up but only to have they put out of
- commission by Suzaku’s sword, while also rending their hands significantly. “Aaaghhh! M-My hand…!” Suzaku stood
- before them, rather triumphantly, with his blade laid across his shoulder. “Let’s see you wield those weapons again
- now.” Suzaku said as he smirked rather devilishly. Suddenly, a voice had broken sound, as it yelled out orders to the
- thugs. “We’re done here! Let’s get a move on.” The thugs who trembled before Suzaku suddenly looked their
- Pokemon. “Ergh, Exploud use Supersonic!” Despite its paralysis, Exploud was able to emit a hyper-pitched sound
- that surely deafened those closest to it while also having a chance to confuse them. During this confusion, Graveler’s
- trainer would also have a chance to lay out a command to the Rock Pokemon. “Graveler, use [c]
- Suzaku: Self-Destruct!” By use of the deafening sound, Graveler’s trainer hoped in somewhat cloaking his command
- in attempt to close their window of escape, while both trainers seemingly got away through the underground passage
- that had closed up soon after. The Graveler that was assaulted by Jin’s Scizor and Trevenant suddenly began to glow
- brightly, what came after surely not being good. [e]
- Queen: While even in its paralysis, the Houndoom used that of Flamethrower from its current position and Xero was able to doge it with no problem. But once he heard the supersonic emitted from the Exploud, Xero winced and then became confused giving even the paralyzed Houndoom a slight upper hand. She was a bit affected by the noise as well but brushed it off. "Crap. Come on Xero! Snap out of it!" And this was before knowing the plans of the Graveler who was not that far from the Zebstrika's current location. Her eyes widened once she saw that of the Graveler glowing, it only meant one thing. Without any hesitation, she withdrew her Zebstrika and the male who owned that of the Houndoom recalled it as well before fleeing with the rest of them. She didn't think that they were going to do something along the lines of this. She blinked when she saw that of Jin and Suzaku practically near her behind another crate. But she was glad that they were safe. - -
- Her hands went to her ears not wanting to hear the explosion that was about to take place. ( end. )
- Suzaku: Everyone had taken their own course of measures to
- avoid the coming explosion of the Graveler. Jin had made sure
- to have his Trevenant flee the scene while keeping his Scizor a
- while longer in attempt to bring that Graveler back a safer
- distance from everyone else. It did as much as it could and
- quickly retreated by using Agility. Suzaku also dragged back
- behind a steel crate, thanks to Jin; however, looking to the
- rafters, Suzaku noticed Leafeon still disposing of a couple
- thugs. Still disoriented from the blasting Supersonic, Suzaku
- attempted to call out to the Verdant Pokemon, but his
- command was drowned out by the noise. Suzaku then looked
- to his Gardevoir intensively, as if channeling his very thoughts
- to Embrace Pokemon. Suddenly, Izanami’s entire form came to
- meld out of existence before reappearing just behind the
- Leafeon, whom she took in her arms and melded away in the
- same fashion as before. The Graveler finally reached its peak
- and in a bright flash of white, an [c]
- Suzaku: explosion soon followed. The distance it was moved
- by Jin’s Scizor certainly made the difference, though the power
- behind it was still as strong, even causing the steel crate in
- which the band hid behind for cover moving a couple feet. The
- piercing sound of the Supersonic had also ceased as the
- opposing Exploud was seemingly incinerated from the explosion
- while the Graveler was reduced to nothing but chunks of rubble
- while a good portion of the right-side of the warehouse was also
- blown out. Moving from out behind the steel crate, Suzaku had
- taken in the damage done, his rings still ringing from the initial
- Uproar and the Supersonic. “By Arceus…” He said lowly to
- himself, Gardevoir suddenly emerging beside him with Leafeon
- still tucked in her embrace. Suzaku then looked to his fellow
- Pokemon, a hand finding the head of Leafeon as he stroked his
- leaf-like ears gently. Turning to the crate, Suzaku called out to
- Jin and Ana. “It’s alright to come out now.” [e]
- Ace: Instinctively Jin had brought Anavina into his arms throughout all of this, his grip rather tight and protective over
- his significant other as the blast went off. Once the destruction and dust had settled, the trainer would still find
- himself disoriented greatly by the dizzying assault of sounds in such a short time, even developing a slight headache
- afterwards. “Nngh…” The only thing Jin could hear was the monotonous ringing of his ears attempting to recover,
- finding that even his voice sounded dulled and muffled when he spoke. “Jay, you alright?!” In a slight panic the trainer
- glanced about, watching as the red figure of his Scizor rose from behind a crate nearby, shaking off bits of debris that
- had landed on it. “...Thank goodness. Come on back. Did you see where they went, Jay?” A shrugging motion of
- sorts was given when the Scizor was inquired about the henchmen, though it flew about afterwards to scout out for
- remnants of any clues available. +
- Ace: It was evident that this wasn’t their first time dealing with such things, and although Jin was still rather
- off-balance he stood up, helping Anavina to her feet as well before allowing a sigh to escape him. “…They’re gone.
- Great... The boss is gonna have my ass for sure if I don’t get back with any clue about who those guys were.” ||
- Queen: After she stood up from the explosion, she held Jin's hand as she scanned the room for any life. But what she saw was only death. Deep down, it made her want to cry and had she paid any attention to her body, she would of noticed that she was crying without even knowing. This was horrible but this was the times that she lived in. Whoever that was, she wanted them to be taken down. Turning to Jin with a serious look on her face, she spoke. "I want to join the PPA. This has to be stopped." Her feelings for the Pokemon involved within all of this is what drives her. Never did she want to see a Pokemon hurt because of something that a human has done. "I know you would probably say no but I want to, no, I need to do this. Pokemon are suffering and I want to help out. I dont even care if I have to work my way up. Im joining." She was going to do this whether he liked it or not.
- Suzaku: This was certainly wake-up call to what sort of world they lived in now. Looking around, there were actually
- some Pokemon still in their cages that were caught in the explosion, a majority of them dead while a few sustained
- severe injuries who clung on for dear life. The hand Suzaku had on his sword clenched around the hilt, the sound of
- leather tightening under his grip as he brought the sword over his chest and swinging it down with force, just to relieve
- it of the blood caked onto the blade. He then brought it back into the sheath slung at his back before looking
- around more, as his Talonflame swooped in to reunite with his trainer and fellow comrades. “Ahh, Hayato…” Suzaku
- let out an arm for the bird perch itself upon, a hand coming underneath the Scorching Pokemon’s chin before
- bringing its Poke Ball up to it and having a thin, red beam strike its form, while bringing it back inside. “It’s
- strange…don’t you think, Jin?” Suzaku said as he turned to look at Ace, another Poke [c]

- Suzaku: Ball up to it and having a thin, red beam strike its form, while bringing it back inside. “It’s strange…don’t
- you think, Jin?” Suzaku said as he turned to look at Ace, another Poke Ball coming up to be directed at Izanami,
- with the same red beam striking her form and bringing her back inside her own capsule. “This all seemed MUCH too
- organized to even consider this the works of some lowly gang – we’re dealing something much a bigger, and by the
- looks of everything… they don’t seem to care about the well-being of Pokémon or even their own men.” Suzaku
- inquired as he looked to a burnt up corpse, most likely belonging to one of the thugs that was knocked out
- unconscious. [e]
- Suzaku: The day after the incident that had transpired at the warehouse, Suzaku along with Jin and Ana had
- retreated to a nearby Pokémon Center. Pokémon Centers were a rarity to see nowadays, a majority of them only
- found in large cities, where as they would be located all over the place before the Reckoning. Lilycove City fortunately had theirs still in-tact, a bit rundown, but nonetheless provided what our band needed: some well-deserved rest. The benefits that came along with Jin’s role in the PPA allowed for free lodging for all three them, so you can say things certainly looked up despite what happened back in the warehouse. Suzaku, along with the others, were gathered in Jin and Ana’s room with Suzaku near an open window while smoking a hand rolled cigarette. “This Pokémon Center was lucky to be on higher ground. Though, it still seems the Reckoning had an effect on it.” Suzaku said as his face was directed outside the window, overlooking the warehouse that held yesterday’s event. [c]
- Suzaku: Turning to face the others, Suzaku looked to Jin with a rather inquisitive look. “You tried getting in contact with your bureau, didn’t you? Have any idea who can be behind this?” Suzaku asked curiously before finishing off his cigarette and flicking it out the window. He rejoined the two at a moderately-sized table that sat in the center of their room. “Well, no sense in stressing it so much – WHO WANTS A DRINK?!” Just as he offered, Suzaku pulled forth what appeared to be a bottle of fruit wine while drawing forth three drinking saucers, all coming from with inside his robes. Suzaku placed the saucer before each one of them, then uncorking the bottle of fruit wine and filling himself up, though holding off on pouring Jin and Ana any. He then placed the bottle in the center of the table, taking up the drinking saucer as he brought the rim to his lips, channeling the pungent yet sweet elixir. “Aaaah.~ I’ve been waiting to have one of those.” Suzaku said with a sigh of refreshment. [e]
- Ace: No doubt their time at the warehouse was… unsettling, and to recuperate from it all Jin’s party of three settled in nicely at the Pokemon Center in Lilycove. After some time had passed things were starting to seem a bit calmer, and of course there was the matter about dealing with the police on duty. An event of that much destruction was sure to bring about the law enforcement, and thankfully the three of them were spared from any inquisition due to Jin’s reputation in the PPA. In the meantime Suzaku had taken the liberty of ‘gracing’ the couple in their assigned lodging, perhaps getting a bit too comfortable with the smoking and drinking. Originally this wouldn’t be of any real concern, but something had happened quite recently to cause Jin to lightly reprimand Suzaku for his habit. “Suzaku, could you please not smoke around Ana? Or at least do it outside,” he’d voice while packing up his things, not really realizing just how strange his reaction was until the last second. +
- Ace: “…Er, I mean, she’s allergic and all you know? I uh…” A nervous cough escaped the trainer as he zipped up his bag promptly afterwards, heading to the doorway but not before whispering something into his better half’s ear. “No drinking, please?” Turning back towards Suzaku he gave the man a half-smirk of sorts. “Gonna go check with Joy up front and see if she’s got anything new. I’ll be back in a sec.” With the sound of the door opening and shutting behind him Jin was out of sight for a while, hoping to gather whatever intelligence he could. Perhaps there were additional patients brought in, those being the victims of the warehouse bombing whether they were part of the underground organization or not. Either way, a public witness or two would come in handy as evidence seeing as Jin had nothing to go on besides his visual recollection. Suzaku and Ana were also options in terms of producing evidence, but he needed more of a solid lead before heading back to headquarters. ||
- After meeting back up with their friend, Suzaku, she had saw that nothing had changed with him and she was glad. Ana remembered the last time she had seen him, it was with Jin of course and they were on their way to his home deep inside of the forest area somewhat cut off from civilization. She practically almost got lost in there! But that was long ago and it was time for catching up and to make more memories. Raising an eyebrow at her lover's worry for her, she could only laugh when he had told him that it was because of allergies. Well, it was a good excuse but it just made her laugh due to how anxious he was. "So, how is everything with you Sparkles? Have a lady-friend in your life now or are you still up to your usual antics?" She nodded to Jin as he made his way over to Nurse Joy in the front of the Pokemon Center.
- Suzaku: Just like that, Suzaku was left with Ana in the room while Jin went to tend to his own devices. Suzaku leaned in his chair, sipping at the fruit wine he poured himself occasionally as he eyed with Ana with great curiosity. Jin’s behavior before was rather peculiar and the overly gorgeous man was no fool not to notice it. Ana thus began to gage him in conversation, as he couldn’t help but smile as he referred to him by his reluctant yet otherwise notable nickname. “Heh, Sparkles. Still on that, huh? Well, I can’t complain. After all that’s happened I try to remain secluded from everything even more.” Suddenly, Suzaku came to play his saucer on the table, leaning over as he narrowed his eyes towards Ana. “There’s something different about you though…” He said with air of allurement before his eyes began to scan her down, his gaze becoming fixated on her stomach. “Hm… so you two did the ole’ nasty. About time!” Suzaku said as he leaned back and brought his hands behind his head for [c]
- Suzaku: additional support, smirking towards Ana. “You know, next time Jin wants to keep it a secret you should really tell him NOT to act so suspicious”, and there he went to lecture her about Jin’s knack for being easy to read. Though, it was brief and as he ended he took up his saucer and raised it towards her, as a soft smile settled on his face. “Congratulations.” Meanwhile, downstairs, Jin went tend to his own affairs though on the way down he’d bump shoulders with someone who was making their upstairs. “Oomph. ‘Scuse me, bub.” The man, who was garbed in a rather long coat and hat, apologized as he continued on his way. Back in the room, Suzaku went ahead and took a drink in celebratory manner of Ana’s pregnancy. Placing the saucer back down, Suzaku got up from his seat. “Well, I’ll go see if I can’t find the father-to-be. Just wait here.” Suzaku said as he walked towards the door and made his way out, making sure to close it behind him. While turning down the hallway towards the [c]
- Suzaku: door and made his way out, making sure to close it behind him. While turning down the hallway towards the stairs, Suzaku would encounter the same man Jin would previously bump into. Suzaku merely nodded his head towards the man as he seemed to pay no mind, to where Suzaku would say to himself, “Well… that was rather rude, let alone I couldn’t even tell if he was an upstart guy or not.” From there, he shrugged and proceeded downstairs to find Jin. A knock on the door was then delivered while Ana was still in the room; however, if she came to open the door it would certainly come off as a surprise. [e]
- Ace: “...I could have done better,” Jin mumbled quietly to himself as he headed downstairs, but not before apparently
- bumping into a rather shady individual on the way to the lobby. “Oi, watch it,” he’d immediately say, dusting off his
- shoulder and watching as the unknown individual slinked away. Instead of pursuing the said person, Jin had opted to
- continue on his way, his mind a bit too pre-occupied with his many thoughts at the moment. Afterwards he’d be
- greeted by an all too familiar face, with the iconic pink hair and nurse uniform that so often welcomed people into the
- Pokemon Center. “Nurse Joy, good to see you’re doing alright. Have any information for me like I requested?”
- Approaching the front desk now the trainer took on a more official stance and demeanor, eyeing the computer screen
- which Joy began to view at his request. “Officer Mashiro. Good day. I received some reports of survivors, but the
- police have them in custody. What’s worse is that they’re not in good condition, +
- Ace: nowhere near consciousness from what they’ve said. I’m sorry but you may have to wait longer if you want to
- question them.” Just like that Jin’s hopes for a lead went up and then straight down all in mere seconds, eliciting a
- sigh to escape from parted lips. “Damn it all. I don’t have the time to sit around here for another day or two. They’re
- expecting me back soon,” he replied in slight annoyance, pausing momentarily before nodding towards Joy. “Thanks
- for the update anyways. If there’s any change on the situation then please inform me immediately.” Walking back
- empty-handed now, Jin proceeded to make his way back upstairs, but not before running into Suzaku on the
- staircase. “They’ve got a few survivors, but they’re all hospitalized. Cops identified them as suspicious since they
- were found in the warehouse. Even worse, they’re unconscious. If nothing changes in the next few hours then we’ve
- gotta head back with what we’ve got so far. You and Ana will have to come with me to +
- Ace: headquarters as witnesses, if that’s alright? I didn’t exactly want to bother you guys in having to deal with their
- questions and stuff.” The look on Jin’s face showed a clear reluctance in having his friends be questioned in the first
- place, but there wasn’t much choice at this point unfortunately. ||
- "Well duh, its the nickname I gave you so Im keeping it forever." She smirked. Once he heard him say there was something different about her, she was going to quickly deny it but alas, she was too late. Maybe had she not had her hand on her stomach and with Jin being well, him. THey would of kept it to themselves a little while longer. Not that they were hiding it from him, they just wanted to have the best time to tell him and with everything that was going on now, it just wasn't. A blush covered her face once he had told her congradulations and she thanked him in her usual not-violent way. "Alright, hurry back." She told him before he closed the door behind him. And so she was left in the room to herself and her thoughts. Looking around the room, she wondered if there was anything else left to do before they headed out again. Their bags were packed and ready to go. So she then moved over to the bed to look up at the ceiling. "More than likely, they will have to question us.
- Its always been this way, bad luck just looms around us." She said with a laugh and a hand pressed to her stomach. "Well, not all the time." She smiled. Hearing the knock at the door startled her and she then sat upright. "Thats weird, why would anyone be knocking on this door at this time of night?" She said, softly. It couldnt be Jin or Suzaku because hell, why would they need to? And Ana sure didnt make any friends any time soon. So for now all she would do is stay quiet until one of them came back.
- Suzaku: Just as Suzaku went looking for Jin he had appeared right before him, though before Suzaku could even
- get a word out, Jin spilt out whatever information he was given at the front desk by Nurse Joy. So, attempting not to
- be rude and cut off his dear, old friend, he allowed him to continue though hearing that he and Ana were being
- brought in for questioning didn’t necessarily sit well with Suzaku as he wanted to return to his home as quickly as
- possible. “W-What do you mean questioning? Jin, I have a sixteen year old back at my place who could be… oh
- no… SHE COULD BE DRINKING ALL OF MY FRUIT WINE!!!” Suddenly, Suzaku grew pale white as his head came
- into a slump followed by a long-drawn out sigh leaving his mouth. Bringing his head back up to look at Jin, as he ran
- a hand through his hair, shaking it out as he came to look at his friend with a rather serious expression. “But really
- Jin – why must I go? I have other ‘business’ to take care of. What if some thugs happen to stumble [c]
- Suzaku: upon my house? I can’t entrust Haruka solely to protect all the Pokémon that are living there but nor do I
- want to see you return empty-handed. Aah, this certainly is a predicament.” Suzaku came to turn his back to Jin for
- a moment, thinking to himself before he reluctantly turned around to face Jin once more. “Very well, I’ll accompany
- you, though we need to at least try finish this up in a week. Oh… I almost forgot.” Just then, Suzaku moved right
- beside Jin, wrapping an arm around his shoulder as he smirked. “Congratulations on impregnating Ana. I’m sure the
- child will be a thrill, ohoho.~” Suzaku then burst out into a rather pretentious laugh as he patted him roughly on the
- back. “Really my friend, you should make things less obvious, especially when it comes to Ana and battling.” Back
- upstairs, Ana remained silent within the room as another series knocks assaulted the door. As she continued not to
- answer, an eerie black mass crawled from underneath the door space, looming [c]
- Lativ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gtu2Yb0nk4
- Suzaku: across the floor as it stopped just before Ana’s feet. From this crawling shadow, a body came to emerge
- from out of the floor, taking shape into what was a Dusclops. It’s single, red eye bore directly into Ana’s before its
- mouth came to open before her as an overwhelming force attempted to draw her inside, almost like a vacuum.
- Downstairs, Suzaku continued to playfully taunt Jin though decided his fun should come to end. “Aah, but really Jin –
- congratulations. I hope everything works out for you and…” Suddenly, the sound of what appeared to be a commotion
- came from upstairs, Suzaku quickly looking to Jin with an expression of worry. “We need to hurry.” The man quickly
- bolted upstairs before his friend could tail behind, sprinting down the hallway only to find the door wide open. Upon
- looking inside the room, there stood a man in a long trench coat and hat along with a Dusclops who had two legs
- sticking out from its mouth. [e]
- Ace: “I know I know. Look, the last thing I want to do is drag you guys even further into all of this. I asked you guys to
- help me out, not sit in some chair for hours being barraged with questions. That’s why all we can hope for is something to
- come up that’ll let me get a better lead on this. I can’t just go back and tell the boss that there’s been smuggling going
- on. That’s already happening everywhere so it’s no help.” Once again Jin felt a sigh leave him, though his mood would
- change to a more light-hearted manner soon afterwards. “And about Ana… Well, we’ve been together for a while now.
- Times are tough, but we’re not getting any younger. Plus… you know. Gotta start sometime yeah?” A shrug of his
- shoulders later and this air of normal conversation turned sour rather quickly, with Jin having caught on to whatever was
- happening upstairs just as Suzaku did at the same time. “No one should be making this much noise at this time.” With
- that said it was obvious he’d be rushing back +
- Ace: upstairs with his old friend, drawing a pair of peculiar black leather gloves from his back pocket and slipping them
- both on swiftly. Once the two made it to the entryway to the room Jin felt a sudden emotion of alarm strike him, like
- lightning coursing through his entirety even. Just seeing that open door drove a chill up his spine, though that didn’t stop
- him from being the first to make it inside to see what was happening. “Ana!” A Dusclops, and what seemed to be the very
- same person who he’d bumped into earlier were there, with his significant other clearly struggling to break free of her
- ghostly captor. Without warning Jin took action, impulsive and completely enraged by the mere sight of what was
- occurring. Drawing a right hand back towards his belt the trainer sent a Pokeball flying, or rather outright threw the
- capsule like a baseball straight at the shady individual’s facial area. To follow up with this, Jin made a quick dash for the
- intruder, already bringing back his left +
- Ace: arm to throw a straight punch at the person’s midsection. Whatever the Pokeball would come into contact with it’d
- snap open regardless, unleashing a streak of light that would burst out. The form of a Zangoose materialized, one of a
- shiny variety from its color variant. Blood red claws were already preparing themselves with a sickeningly dark glow, with
- the intent to rip and sever the Dusclops using a Night Slash. ||
- Queen: A few moments of her being silent and she took it as that whoever it was went away until the unthinkable happened. A what she assumed to be a wild Dusclops appeared before her looking rather intensely at her with its red eye. Once Ana saw it the first time, she was entranced and she couldnt move her limbs. Well, that was until she realized what was happening. With a scream or two, she tried to fight back with all her might, but it was already too late for her. The mouth of the Dusclops opened and she was pulled into it. Though even from inside, she tried to break free. By the time that both Jin and Suzaku had reached her, 90% of her was already within the Pokemon. "Damn it. Really? A Dusclops attack. And here I thought that I was trying to be nice with Pokemon." She mostly said to herself because neither the shady man or the Dusclops was paying her any attention. A few moments later and she heard noises, familiar ones. It made her smile to know that they were here to rescue her! "Oi! Get me out of here so I can punch the living daylights out of whoever did this! The wont get away with this!" She said now pissed the hell off.
- Suzaku: The man stood among the room with a Dusclops at his side, whom was currently attempting to consume Ana in
- her entirety. Just before Suzaku could assess the situation, Jin charged in blindly while drawing a Poke Ball from his belt
- and pitching it towards the man in the hat. The suspicious looking man look to its Dusclops who had Ana still in its
- mouth, “Dusclops, Shadow Sneak!” The Beckon Pokemon thus retreated back into the black pool that was the shadow it
- entered the room in before slinking away into nothingness. Suddenly, the man was met with a line drive Poke Ball to the
- face, knocking him off balance while the capsule came to burst open and release Ace’s prized Zangoose. Suzaku who
- remained back attempted to halt Jin’s actions, though he was in a blind rage. A fist was met to the man’s midsection,
- while the sound of rib popping out of place became audible. “Aarrgh!” The man keeled over onto his heels as he coughed
- for air. “Jin, that’s enough!” Suzaku quickly dashed in [c]
- Suzaku: afterwards, pulling Jin back by his shoulder before wrapping his arm around his upper half. “Relax, will you? He
- has the upper hand!” The man who was hunched over coughing suddenly began to laugh weakly, tilting his head upward
- as his hat came to fall off his head. “He..he..hehe.. I’d listen to y-your friend if I was you. I can’t guarantee her safety if
- you muck me up any more, haha…ha…ha.” Suzaku glared at the man who began to stumble up to his feet. “N-Now
- then… I’ll tell you where Dusclops took her but first – hand over your Plates.” [e]
- Ace: Before Jin could cause any more potential harm to the intruder he’d be set back by means of physical restraint
- thanks to Suzaku. “Let me go dammit! I’ll fucking KILL YOU!” Showing extreme signs of hostility at this point was simply
- a natural reaction, especially when Ana was the one of all people to end up being kidnapped for whatever reason. Had the
- events of their night together the other day not happened then perhaps Jin wouldn’t have been so aggravated, but seeing
- as they did… well, a soon-to-be parent was something of formidable force to be reckoned with. In fact Suzaku would be
- seen barely holding onto Jin as the fired up red-head refused to listen for a few seconds, that is until the man spoke after
- recomposing himself. “…Tch.” Finally relaxing somewhat now he’d hoped Suzaku would release him, and afterwards
- waved off his Zangoose to cancel its attack. In response to this Talon, the said Zangoose, lowered its claws ever so
- slowly, though it’d still bare those razor sharp +
- Ace: teeth in an intimidating fashion at the Dusclops and its owner. In an attempt to see exactly what the individual’s
- reasons for obtaining the plates were, Jin began questioning the man, wanting to get subtle clues and hints out of
- whatever reply was given. “I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. If you want money then we can give it. Just let
- her go.” ||
- ---------------------------------------------------D.I.D Status on Queen. Skipped. -----------------------
- Suzaku: The man propped himself up against the wall, while his right arm swung around his midsection and his hand clenched at his ribs. In response to Jin’s offering of money, the man simply shook his head as he chuckled. “Hehe..he..he, oh no. You heard me the first time. I want the Plates you have. I know you have them, we’ve been tracking you ever seen what happened at the warehouse yesterday.” The man admitted though his voice posed a rather weakly tone, most likely due to Ace punching one of his ribs in. Suzaku interjected for the moment, “We don’t know what you’re talking about. What are these Plates you speak of?” Suzaku asked the man, his tone a bit condescending though convincingly genuine somehow. The man suddenly gave both Ace and Suzaku a rather estranged look as if he didn’t know whether to believe them or not. “Y-You’re… you’re lying! Boss told us you had the Plates, he knows it! J-Just give it to me already!” Suzaku looked to Ace before turning his attention back to the man. [c]
- Suzaku: “We really have no idea what you’re talking about. Please. Just tell us where she is.” The man then became somewhat erratic as he pushed himself off the wall, while still clutching his ribs. “No! That’s bullshit! Why else would you assault the warehouse yesterday… Plates or not, you’re still PPA…” Then, with a flick of his other arm, a fold of his trench coat was pushed to the outside while he drew forth a handgun and directed at both Suzaku and Ace. Though before a finger could be laid on the trigger, Suzaku was already in the man’s personal space. “W-What…” Upon attempting to redirect the gun’s barrel, the man suddenly figured that the hand he held the gun with was no longer attached to his body and saw only a nub at the end of his left arm. “Aaaaah!” He dropped to his knees, a bit awestruck that his hand had been severed from his body in no more than fifteen seconds. [e]
- Ace: Jin could only stand there for the meanwhile and listen, studying whatever he could about the man under the tense
- pressure he felt. Inside his mind were thoughts of Ana, each one practically screaming for her to be okay. There was
- nothing he could actually do though at the moment, and just knowing that fact created some overwhelming urge to beat
- the living hell out of the unknown intruder. From what he could tell, this person was working for someone else, and it was
- obvious he wasn’t anywhere near the higher ups. A move like this was amateur at best, especially when Jin was able to
- somewhat incapacitate the person in the first place. “…So we were watched,” Jin voiced quietly. The reason that struck
- him as odd was because the PPA had sent him on this mission as a covert operative, nothing more. It would be strange
- for anyone to even know of his location, but what was even more suspicious was that the information about the plates and
- their bearers was apparently ‘out there’ now for +
- Ace: whatever reason. All of this drove Jin to rethink about what was going on, that is until Suzaku managed to cleanly
- slice off the person’s hand, which had previously held a gun that was ready to fire. “Right, so about this guy you’re
- working for. You called him ‘boss’. Seems like you’ve got a group going on then if there’s someone giving the orders. How
- about this? You let the girl go, and my friend here doesn’t make you wish you died already. Or me, either way works.
- Time’s ticking, buddy, and that arm isn’t gonna stop bleeding anytime soon.” A wounded person would be likely to talk,
- but instilling the hovering threat of death over him was a bit of a mind game in itself. No real person could calmly talk their
- way out of something like this, much less a grunt of all things. ||
- Suzaku: The man that had ordered Ana moved was now on the floor, kneeling in a
- pool of his own blood as he saw his own severed hand before him. “M-My hand…!
- You cut my hand!” Suzaku stood over the man with his sword aligned across his
- shoulder while blood trickled down from the blade. “Yes, and if you don’t tell us
- where Dusclops took our friend that won’t be the only that’ll cut off.” From behind
- Ace, the sound of footsteps would be heard marching up the stairs before one saw
- Nurse Joy standing the doorway. “…Oh my god! I’m calling the police!” She
- squealed before darting back downstairs, Suzaku looking to the pink-haired
- woman before she left and then turning his attention to Ace. “I’d… take care of her
- if I were you Jin. Leave me with this one, I’ll be sure to make him talk.” The man
- looked up at Suzaku, fearful of what else this man who cut off his hand was
- capable of. “P-Please… I’ll do it… I-I’ll tell you where she is!” Suzaku brought a
- foot up and pressed into the man’s chest as he [c]
- Suzaku: pinned him to the floor. “Where?!” Suzaku then brought his sword off his
- shoulder before stabbing the blade into the floor right beside his face. The man
- screamed, “O-Okay…! Okay, Route 120 – we’re going to exchange the Plates for
- her safety at a dead drop!” Suzaku came to tilt his head towards the man, a
- somewhat sadistic plastered to his face. “Is that so…?” The man nodded his head
- nervously, “Y-Yes! P-Please… just stop the bleeding… it hurts.” A chuckle came
- to sneak passed Suzaku’s lips as he moved away from the man for a moment.
- “Fine, fine. I’ll go get the nurse that my friend went to speak to. In the meantime,
- stay put. If you try anything, I can’t guarantee my friend’s Zangoose gutting you
- like a fish.” With that, Suzaku exited the room, the man slowly moving his head
- towards Talon as he attempted to crack a fear-induced smile despite the
- circumstances. [e]
- Ace: With the ‘negotations’ being successful now, Jin no longer felt the need to
- threaten the intruder any more than he should, thus he felt it best to cease further
- talks. Once Nurse Joy had taken in the sight of the situation there was a slight
- panic in the air, though Suzaku suggested a remedy to the situation quickly.
- “Right. Talon, keep an eye on him. If he moves, then try to at least go easy on the
- guy.” Despite Jin’s current demeanor he was still seething with an indescribable
- rage. It was tiresome to deal with hostages, but even moreso when they used his
- better half as a bargaining chip against him. Only on several rare occasions did it
- happen in the past, but like stated before, a soon-to-be-father wasn’t exactly the
- best person to piss off in regards to that. A few moments later and Jin arrived
- downstairs, attempting to calm Joy down and ease up on the need to call the local
- authority. Having a bunch of police cars coming down would get in the way if
- anything, and detaining +
- Ace: the intruder would drag this investigation out even longer. “…And that’s the
- gist of it. Look, we’ll pay for any damages to the room, just don’t go calling the
- cops just yet okay? We won’t kill the guy or anything,” he voiced towards the
- woman, who now was a bit more relaxed thankfully. “Alright… Please just avoid
- having to resort to any further bloodshed. This isn’t the place for that, Officer
- Mashiro.” Jin sighed in response, nodding at the nurse before heading back
- upstairs, though he’d see Suzaku approach before he could take another step.
- “What’s the word so far? Did you get anything out of him?” ||
- Suzaku: “Route 120. He says there was supposed to be a trade-off – the Plates
- for Ana at some dead drop location.” Suzaku informed Jin as he turned to look
- upstairs. “I say we have him guide us.” He suggested before returning upstairs and
- to the room. Once coming to the room, one could see the man was still there,
- though barely conscious as his arm where his hand was cleanly sliced off would
- continue to bleed, Talon standing over him with a vigilant eye. “Hey… hey! Wake
- up.” Suzaku said as he approached the man and patted at his face a bit. The
- man, a bit groggy, looked to Suzaku as he backed up against the wall further.
- “Ugh, we need to deal with that hand.” Suzaku stated before reaching into his robe
- and pulling out a Poke Ball. By pressing the button in the center, the capsule
- opened while releasing a mass of light that struck the floor beside Suzaku. The
- light thus took the form of a Zoroark, who marked its entrance by whipping its
- voluminous mane around and getting in the face of the [c]
- Suzaku: man, bearing its teeth. “Aaah!” The man shrieked, Suzaku bringing a
- palm to his face as he looked to the Illusion Fox Pokemon. “Genkuro, that’s
- enough.” The Zoroark quickly looked to its trainer before pulling back slightly
- away from the man. “Do me a favor and please use cauterize his wound with
- Flamethrower.” The man quickly shot a gaze to Suzaku, his lips quivering before
- turning to the Zoroark that already had flames spewing from its mouth. “W-What…
- no… NOO!” Upon leaving the Pokémon Center, Suzaku and Jin had headed
- towards Route 120, directed by the man whom Suzaku held with both hands
- behind his back. “Is this the place?” The man turned to his head over his shoulder
- to peer at Suzaku before nodding, while the sound of footsteps came to emerge
- from behind them, followed by a voice. “Clyde… what are they doing here? I
- thought you’d get the Plates from them.” Upon turning around stood a man with
- unkempt, brown hair, green eyes and wearing red leather jacket along with some
- [c]
- Suzaku: black jeans. He, too, was surrounded by a group of at least three – no,
- four individuals who were also dressed normally while the Dusclops stood beside
- him. “Well, you see. Your friend here had somewhat of an accident and got his
- hand chopped off, so we decided to help him out.” The man looked to Suzaku
- briefly before turning to his accomplice. “Is this true, Clyde?” The man held by
- Suzaku simply nodded. [e]
- Ace: Jin winced in response to the supposed ‘cauterizing’ of the open wound,
- having followed Suzaku upstairs to gather their things and whatnot. “Route 120 is
- it…? Fine. Be ready for anything, Suzaku. We don’t know what to expect.” Had
- they been given the choice to, Jin would choose to not head into such a dangerous
- situation, but there wasn’t much option in the end. Before they made it to the
- designated meeting area he’d apologize quietly to Suzaku beforehand. “I shouldn’t
- have gotten you or Ana into any of this mess… Sorry.” If things were to somehow
- end badly then at least there wouldn’t be any particular ‘bad blood’ or grudge
- against the two of them in some way or form. “If things get bad, take Ana and run if
- you have to.” Playing the hero wasn’t exactly Jin’s reason for saying such a thing.
- The needs to feel responsible for what happened weighed heavily on his mind
- seeing as it was his mission to begin with, not theirs. Of course, he didn’t plan on
- biting the dust anytime soon +
- Ace: either, but precautions and whatnot never hurt anyone much. Once they
- made it to the site he began glancing about, remaining silent throughout the
- encounter for the meanwhile and studying the other individuals. The key here was
- to gauge their manpower, along with whatever weaponry they had on them.
- Unfortunately for Jin, the PPA was never an organization meant to kill for whatever
- reason, thus the use of firearms on their personnel was prohibited. The only thing
- he had on him were a pair of lead-knuckle gloves, and obviously his Pokemon.
- Talon had retreated back into his Pokeball for the meanwhile, though the trusted
- companion was ready to burst out at any given moment. “They’ve got a lot more
- people here than I thought,” Jin murmured quietly to both himself and Suzaku,
- eyes still glued to the scene to unfold in front of them. ||
- Amaterasu: Time had ravaged the places pokemon once popped up and it had taken nearly a month just to hunt down the one she had her eyes set on. A
- small specimon, but still an Absol nonetheless. Glaceon had taken the lead today, going head to toe with Ammy's desired new friend. It felt like an hour had
- passed already when it had barely been minutes. Half the forest zone around her had been either torn up or frozen from the battle. The moment that the Absol
- looked like it was tiring out, she tossed one of her balls toward it, only to have it smacked back. And 'Icy Wind' here and a 'Frost Breath' there, movements
- began to get slow. Calling Ilae back finally, she tossed the ball once more, this time successful. A small squeal erupted from the blonde, and a huge grin
- plastered on her face. Three down! Sure, she had a couple of others back at home, in storage waiting for--
- Amaterasu: her.. but this was for her dream team. Her moment of joy was disrupted, much to her annoyance, by footsteps nearby. Placing her pokeballs back
- against her belt, she neared a tree, trying to see who was stepping around. Ever since she had read that letter, Ammy had always been much more careful in
- how she stomped around the world. It had changed her life and she never knew when an enemy was coming for her. But for now, she would observe the
- gathering from behind her tree, trying her best to make out words or how the mouths moved... not that she could read lips. -e-
- Suzaku: The man who seemed in charge burst out into laughter, looking around to the rest of his men before turning his attention back to Suzaku and Jin.
- “Hahaha, are you kidding? You had one job, Clyde, one fuckin’ job and mucked it up! Men…” The man said as the others who tagged along suddenly brought
- up their firearms towards Suzaku and Jin. “Now I call the shots, you either hand over the Plates or I’ll have my guys unload lead.” Suzaku, who remained
- completely composed, came to clear his throat in order to respond to the leading man. “As we told your friend here, we have no idea about these Plates you
- speak of.” The man simply came to laugh once more, pulling out a handgun of his own as he pointed towards them. “Don’t play dumb with me, pretty boy. We
- know you, the PPA agent and this dame stuck in Dusclops all have Plates. Now, you either hand ‘em over or I’ll have Dusclops here tear ya’ girl limb from
- limb.” Suzaku looked to Ace before turning his attention back the others. “Fine. But [c]
- Suzaku: let us see Ana first.” The man waved his gun around as he shook his head, “Oh no, no, no… I said I’m calling the shots. Show us the Plates and
- then I’ll show the girl.” Suzaku then began to mutter quietly to Ace, “Get ready…” Suddenly, the man fired off his handgun, though his target was neither Ace
- nor Suzaku, but the man Suzaku had subdued in his arms. Suzaku’s face turned to utter surprise as he let the man go in response to the gunshot, the body
- of him falling to the ground before them as Suzaku looked the others. “Sorry, I had to get rid of that one. Useless. I give him one job and-…” Just then, the
- body of the man exploded into what was a smoke screen, a smirk curling up on Suzaku’s face. “W-What… Men, fire at ‘em! Dusclops, kill the girl!” “I wouldn’t
- do that! Genkuro, Sucker Punch!” And from the smoke, the same Zoroark that Suzaku had released before rushed out from the smoke as one of his claws
- was lurched back while glowing in a dark-colored aura. The Pokémon was fast and [c]
- Suzaku: just as Dusclops came to do what the other man had told him, Genkuro jammed that claw in the gut of the Beckon Pokémon, causing it “cough up”
- Ana. “Now Jin!” Suzaku yelled as he too came dashing out from the smoke with incredible speed, sword suddenly coming to be drawn from its sheath like
- lightning as he cut down one of the gun-wielding men. The man who called the shots was utterly surprised though grew infuriated on how things were going. “For
- fuck sakes! Toxicroak, get out here and deal with that fuckin’ fox!” The man suddenly released a Poke Ball into the air, as it burst open and released what was
- the Toxic Mouth Pokémon, Croagunk. “Use Poison Jab!” The Toxicroak then went in on Genkuro, the pointed digit of its right hand glowing a deep-purple as it
- drew it back, ready to strike. [e]
- Ace: Jin hadn’t even realized there was anyone watching nearby, much less check for innocent bystanders and onlookers. The entire time his mind was filled
- with rampant thoughts, and this entire thing would hinge on Suzaku’s plan to pull off the decoy without issue. After the series of events led to the smokescreen
- coming up suddenly, Jin took immediate action right when his friend gave the signal to do so. Ducking to one side was the natural instinct in order to avoid any
- ‘targeted’ shooting in the dark shroud, and knowing how most people would react they’d be standing in one place hoping a bullet or two would hit the assailants
- blindly. With this in mind, Jin managed to incapacitate one of the four men, efficiently disarming the attacker’s firearm from his hand by taking the straightened
- elbow and smashing his right fist from below it, holding the man’s wrist with a left hand as well. This in turn essentially caused the joint to snap into a rather
- painful and awkward position, which was +
- Ace: enough to down him for the remainder of the engagement. “Sic ‘em Talon!” Just then a flash of light erupted from the side of Jin’s belt, the shadowed form
- of a Zangoose materializing in the smoke before it dashed right off. Utilizing its auditory senses Talon was able to track down Genkuro, along with its Toxicroak
- opponent as well. A heavy-handed Crush Claw came swiping upwards to parry the poisonous attack, with the other claw now homing in to smash the said
- Toxicroak backwards with a hefty blow. The other two men then threw out their own Pokemon as well, a Machoke and Emboar of all things to deal with the trio.
- “Emboar, Flamethrower now! Fry ‘em to a crisp!” Heeding its master’s command the large boar-like Pokemon reared its body momentarily, inhaling deep
- through its nostrils to prepare a formidable fire attack on the group. Jin in the meantime had managed to pull Ana to relative safety as well, finding his way out
- of the smokescreen and laying her on the grass nearby. “Ana! Are +
- Ace: you alright?!” No doubt Jin was worried sick, but there were other matters that needed his attention right now, such as the oncoming flame attack that
- could potentially wipe them all out. “Shit! Talon find that thing and distract it now!” Even though he couldn’t get any visibility on his Zangoose, Jin knew the Cat
- Ferret Pokemon was still very much aware of its surroundings, meaning the Emboar would be met with a fate similar to the Toxicroak from earlier as Talon
- rushed towards its target on all fours. ||
- Amaterasu: Watching the fight break out was like observing some sort of movie on tv back when things were relaxed and calm. The blonde could barely
- remember that time now, but it was there nonetheless. As soon as she saw those flames though, she was moving in action before she could understand why
- she was doing it. It seemed the two men were trying to get back that girl, for whatever reason. Grasping the priorly used Glaceon from her belt, she slipped out
- from behind the tree, still somewhat hidden by the bushes and tossed it forward. "Ilae, Frost Breath those flames right now!" She called out to the ice
- pokemon, who sought to shut down that fire attack with a deep breath. Ammy wasn't about to leave the elemental to just stand there doing nothing, showing
- the type of team work they had as she grabbed a rock off the ground, aiming to hit one of the enemy men with it on the head, if she could manage to aim or
- toss it that far. "Bite that damn --
- Amaterasu: pokemon!" She growled, finding herself in the middle of a battle she knew nothing about. She had overhead a few things in particular and maybe
- that was why her heart was thumping so hard. Had they spoken about Plates? Could she trust these people? Ammy didn't know, but they didn't deserve to
- die.-e-
- As she was still in the hollow belly of the Dusclops, she could only imagine what could be going on outside, wherever she was. Ana could only hoped that both Suzaku and Jin were alright in all of this. Knowing the both of them, she had nothing to worry about. Besides, she had to stay calm in all that was happening. She was a mother to be! Can't have any stress. Taking in a deep breath, she calmed herself thinking only of the positive. Well, that and how she was going to whip everyone's ass when she got out of here. That part of Ana will always stay put. Muffled words were the only things she could hear and she had hoped that at least two of the voices were the ones rescuing her. But in that every same moment, she started to panic. The words 'Kill the girl' was heard loud and clear to her. And of course, she didnt want to die. Especially not like this. And then she noticed something while still incapacitated within the Dusclops, she began to move around! Of course she thought it was the Dusclops beginning to eat her but she saw light and a for a brief moment in time a Zoroark. She was free! Not hitting the ground like she thought would happen, she was caught. Her eyes widened once she saw her saviour to be that of her significant other and with all the strength that she had for the moment, she wrapped her arms around him feeling a lot safer than what she was just a few moments ago. "I'm fine, Jin. Just a bit shaken up." All she saw next was smoke and what it looked like to be a Pokemon battle of the sorts. "W-What's going on? Are you and Suzaku okay?" Wanting to make sure that her boys were fine as well.
- Suzaku: The battle was beginning to heat up, as two of the thugs came to release Pokemon of their own; one being a Machoke while the other was a rather
- intimidating Emboar. Genkuro’s life was spared seeing as how Jin’s Zangoose managed to intercept the incoming Poison Jab, Genkuro looking Talon as he
- smirked and nodded. The smoke from the Substitute began to dissipate slightly and this Emboar was just about ready to release what would be a very
- powerful Flamethrower. Just as Suzaku was going to react, a Glaceon came forth out of nowhere, as it released a bitter-cold Frost Breath that intercepted the
- scorching flames of the Flamethrower. The collision of the two moves would certainly have some end result, as a dank mist suddenly covered the field for a
- short period of time. Suzaku saw this coverage as a perfect opportunity, though was curious as to who this Glaceon belonged to. The rock that Ama had toss
- would then its mark, nailing a henchman right in the back of the head as he came to [c]
- Suzaku: drop. Turning back around, he looked to see where that rock had come from. “Who the hell did that?” The henchman had then looked to its
- Machoke, “Machoke, get that Glaceon! Cross Chop!” The Machoke followed through with the command of its trainer, bum-rushing the Glaceon as it crossed
- its hands over its chest as they began to glow a bright white. Meanwhile, Suzaku managed to use the cover of the newly implemented mist to release another
- Pokemon. “Mizuki, come forth! Hydro Pump!” As the Poke Ball was cast it burst open, the ray of light taking the form of a brilliant Milotic who was shiny in
- variety. From its maw, a powerful spout of water was released in direction towards the Emboar and because of the mist, the Mega Fire Pig Pokémon wouldn’t
- see it coming until it hit its target. The Hydro Pump came to nail the Emboar directly in its broad chest, the intensity of the water being shot out causing it
- slide back a few feet. Suzaku then turned to Genkuro, bringing his Poke Ball up as a [c]
- Suzaku: red beam struck the Illusion Fox and drew it back inside. From behind Suzaku, the man who seemed to be leading this entire operaton, came at
- Suzaku with a downward swing of his combat knife. Suzaku ended up having his back cut up as he fell forward and attempted to regain his composure. “Don’t
- think this over yet, pretty boy. Toxicroak, Poison Jab!” Once again, from behind, the man’s Toxicroak emerged with its arm glowing a deep-purple, though
- Suzaku wouldn’t fall for the same trick twice. “Mizuki, quickly!” Just as fast as the Toxicroak, Suzaku’s Milotic managed to wrap its serpentine body around
- Suzaku as it took the brunt of the Poison Jab while unfortunately becoming poisoned in the process. The Tender Pokemon mewed out in pain as it lowered its
- head towards Suzaku, Suzaku bringing a hand up to pet it briefly before giving it a command. “Don’t worry, Mizuki.” The Milotic’s body suddenly came to
- sheen as if light was refracted off it, this signaling that Mizuki’s Marvel Scale [c]
- Suzaku: ability had been activated, while boosting up her defenses significantly. “Now, use Refresh. I’ll take care of this guy!” The Milotic thus eased up on
- Suzaku’s body as Suzaku dashed off to the fight the man wielding the combat knife. Just as Suzaku left, Milotic’s began to emit waves of light as it cured
- itself of its poisoned status. As Suzaku drew in closer to the man, he held his knife up in more of a defensive position; however, seeing this Suzaku utilized
- his incredible speed and came to slice as the man’s legs, in attempt to debilitate him slightly. [e]
- Ace: “Where did--…” The icy breath attack had seemingly come out of nowhere, though it was a life-saver thanks to
- that very interference. Jin glanced around as his eyes darted to and fro quickly, scanning the field to find a Glaceon
- presently nearby. Whoever it belonged to, he’d have thank them later. Turning back to his significant other again, Jin
- felt a brief smile form on his features as he tightly embraced Ana. “Looks like we’ve got back-up. Can you stand,
- Ana? It looks like Suzaku needs our help.” Standing up to his feet now Jin drew back a Pokeball from his belt,
- recalling Talon from the battlefield with a familiar beam of red light escaping the capsule. “Enough. We end this now.
- Rathis, come!” Launching a different Pokeball forward now was the next course of action, though this time the one to
- appear from it was quite daunting indeed. Once the flash of light crackled forth into materialization the form of a
- Flygon appeared, releasing both wings from an embraced position and +
- Ace: letting out a mighty roar. This in turn allowed the mist and smoke to leave the battlefield immediately, cleared
- by the strong gusts of wind emanating from Rathis. “Let’s go! DRAGON CLAW! Take out that Emboar in one blow!”
- On its trainer’s command the Flygon went into a steep nosedive, rearing back its right claw as it glowed a bright
- azure. Just like Jin said, Rathis then managed to score a strong blow, slashing apart the Emboar’s front side with a
- wickedly sharp claw from a downwards diagonal direction. “Keep going! Take that thing out now!” In an effort to
- completely rend its foe apart, Rathis continued its ferocious attacks, swinging left and right with its claws while still in
- mid-air to maintain the advantage without let-up. ||
- Ace: Blehh getting slow now. ]
- Amaterasu: There was no time to see what was hitting or missing, having the Machoke come at her Glaceon in that
- manner. As fast as the creature was, she knew that Ilae knew no moves to get out of the bind. It wasn't hailing, so
- she wouldn't even have a speed boost. Struck and down, the Glaceon was recalled by Ammy to rest within its
- pokeball home. "I'm sorry Ilae, we'll have to work on things if we get out of this." She mumbled to herself, knowing
- that the Machoke would have seen the line of red to lead straight to her. With no choice but to jump out of the bushes
- at this point with the mist in front of her, she pulled out another pokeball and gulped, stuttering slightly at the sight in
- front of her. Another pokeball tossed, green and white with red gems. That was all that was seen as the Gardevoir
- was released. She was incredibly lucky that she had a psychic type on --
- Amaterasu: her and in an instant was stretching her arms out. "Neeauka, Psyshock the Machoke now, before he
- gets any closer!" With her own arm stretched out, the light-coloured pokemon aimed the attack toward the other
- pokemon, fully intending on shocking him with psychic power until he dropped. In the mean time, Ammy was looking
- around at the other people, or tried to, she had just now come to the rescue of. Not entirely confident about her
- abilities, she might just have caused much more trouble than she was worth. But at least she had stopped them from
- getting fried.-e-
- Looking around as well, she noticed several things at once, the icy breath enveloping the Emboar's attack and just all around fighting. She had to continue to tell herself that this was not the world she remembered and that it was entirely different from then. Coming back from her thoughts, she looked over to Jin answering his question with a nod of her head. Standing up, she felt a bit shakey but she figured it was from being inside of the Dusclops for all that long while. Ana nodded once more about them helping out Suzaku who had she been watching him fight was injured from this. "Arcalius, Im gonna need your help for this, come on out." She softly said not needing to even pick up the pokeball from her belt. The legendary pokemon shot out in the beam of red light and stood to hold Ana up. But seeing as to how they were going to be on the move soon with Jin, she climbed onto the legendary dog's back and rested there as Arcalius followed Jin.
- Ana wouldnt dare fall asleep here, not while all of this was still happening. Besides, she was too riled up to even think about it.
- Suzaku: As Suzaku managed to cut the assailant’s legs, the man came to drop to one knee, looking to Suzaku as
- he gritted his teeth. “You cheap bastard! Toxicroak!” Just as the man shouted out to his Toxicroak, Mizuki quickly
- retaliated with timely launched Ice Beam. The chilling beam coming to make direct contact with Toxic Mouth
- Pokemon as well managing to freeze in place. The mist that had covered the battlefield would all but disappear, after
- Ace had released his Flygon who marked its entrance by beating its wings. It took the skies and released an assault
- of rending Dragon Claws onto the Emboar that had been propelled back by Milotic’s Hydro Pump earlier. Dragon Claw
- after Dragon Claw, Emboar attempted to fend off as best he could, but no matter his effort the Mega Fire Pig
- Pokemon was brought down as its flesh remained heavily mutilated by the Mystic Pokemon’s assault. For the
- Machoke, his target seamlessly escaped through a thin beam of red light, though upon turning around the [c]
- Suzaku: Superpower Pokemon was posed with a new opponent: a Gardevoir! The Embrace Pokemon brought it
- hands up and delivered a super-effective Psyshock, as balls of psionic energy came pelting into the muscly,
- Fighting-type, bringing it down for the count. As the mist cleared, Suzaku stood amongst the ravaged field with his
- cut-up back releasing a constant stream of blood trickling down. The man who led this operation, kneeling before
- him as he panted and looked around to see his entire group felled or unconscious. “Well… whatever you waiting for…
- finish it!” Suzaku smiled as he threw up his sword, swinging the blade down quickly but only for it stab into the
- ground beside him. “Oh, someone else has different intentions for you.” With that Suzaku, withdrew his sword from
- the ground, bringing it back into his sheath as he slowly paced on over to Ace, though upon almost reaching Suzaku
- fell forward most likely due from loss of blood. [e]
