Kobayashi’s plane was rapidly descending toward the monster. He was
practically right in front of Godzilla as he tried to give his plane more
altitude.
Right then, there was a sudden FLASH! A beam of white-hot light
flooded from Godzilla’s mouth. Kobayashi’s plane wobbled and shook from
the blast. In the blink of an eye, it was engulfed in flames.
