I suspect it will be a difficult time for us and for Troy. The idea of Mark sitting in Patrick's lap making wise and effective cost reductions to resolve our problems, causes me to smile and wish it could be that simple.

The most cringe causing worry is that we enter an accusatory blame game without progress. I always hope for real dialogue, objective consideration of all proposals, real collaboration.

Mark I am looking forward to understanding your views and recommendations. I am also enjoying the Mayors recent correspondence on fiscal issues. It will help to move beyond blame to specifics of 2017.  Bob Doherty

I will park myself in the mayor's chair on Monday and do some of the things we have proposed. Just kidding, but do you see how ridiculous this letter and article is? I haven't seen the response from Carm to OSC but question number 1 to them is " what prompted this letter?" Question 2, were there letters over the last four years when there was a brief " we will do better" response? What a joke.

We have been extremely transparent and accountable in taking the bull by the horns since day 1 in our response and interactions with OSC which I understand is a give and take process.
