  7. I'll end with a proven fact, I've never promised to be nice or get along with anybody!

  13. Mark,
  14. You had promised to be nicer to me this term.
  15. Conflict and blame laden emails won't help us get to a solution to Troy's fiscal problems They really are a sporting distraction we can little afford.
  16. An unfortunate consequence of liberty and free speech in your combative hands. Oddly, we are both in vacation to rest and restore the minds batteries. I won't continue the email train. Bob Doherty

  22. Not surprisingly Bob you'd rather not look back at the mess you and your cohorts created. As far as me sitting on Pat's lap I think you have that backward. As I've learned from Lou and now Pat "'they lead from behind". That's not in my natural makeup. I look forward to cleaning up the mess you and yours created despite you carrying the mayor's water. Thanks

  28. I sense this is a growing and more intense level of communicating as we approach 2017 budget formulation (both the issues in the article, recent emails back and forth between the Mayor and Carmella, and Mark's email)

  30. I suspect it will be a difficult time for us and for Troy. The idea of Mark sitting in Patrick's lap making wise and effective cost reductions to resolve our problems, causes me to smile and wish it could be that simple.

  32. The most cringe causing worry is that we enter an accusatory blame game without progress. I always hope for real dialogue, objective consideration of all proposals, real collaboration.
  33.
  34. Mark I am looking forward to understanding your views and recommendations. I am also enjoying the Mayors recent correspondence on fiscal issues. It will help to move beyond blame to specifics of 2017. Bob Doherty

  40. John, the letter states we failed to get an independent audit. That's not true. Then it states we failed to make corrections in the budget? I will park myself in the mayor's chair on Monday and do some of the things we have proposed. Just kidding, but do you see how ridiculous this letter and article is? I haven't seen the response from Carm to OSC but question number 1 to them is " what prompted this letter?" Question 2, were there letters over the last four years when there was a brief " we will do better" response? What a joke.

  46. Again this is a misrepresentation of the facts and taken out of context of reality.
  47.
  48. We have been extremely transparent and accountable in taking the bull by the horns since day 1 in our response and interactions with OSC which I understand is a give and take process.
  49.
  50. Hopefully the complete picture will unfold.
