  1. While everyone is apportioning blame for the Trump win, we can't leave Obama the Great Disappointment out. His increasing corporatism and banksterism, ending with the totally abominable TPP had a lot of people not wanting to be fooled twice by the Deadocratic Party. We know Trump is anti-environment but the TPP was actually more so. It enabled any of tens of thousands of companies all around the world to destroy environmental law by suing for "possible lost profits." A foreign coal company could claim its profits were being cut into by emission controls, for instance, because they cut down on the desire for coal. All those companies could chip away at state and national environmental laws even more than Trump, who might make a few moves in comparison. It was classic Obama - talk one way - "I'm Mr. Environment," and act another - "Screw the environment!"

  3. For years, the Deadocratic Party has told us to vote for them because they weren't as bad as the other guy. Except they used our continuing herd-voting as an excuse to go even farther right and more pro-corporate. When has the "party of the people" worked for a decent minimum wage? Like, never. It just reached a point where the people were no longer fooled. They didn't vote for Trump. Only thirty percent thought he was honest or sane. They voted against being continually snookered by a defunct party that just jawbones and does nothing that is not agreed-to by the one percent.

  5. Then there are the over half of registered voters who didn't - yet many were in the anti-Trump demonstrations, oddly enough.
