Bloodborne - Chalice Dungeon Speedrun guide - Platinum%

First off, you'll want to buy 6 Ritual Blood (5) in the dream when you have a lot of blood echoes. After beating Micolash in NG+2 you should have around a million blood echoes so this is a good time to do it. Buy all the weapons you need for the trophy, blood vials, bullets and level up. Buy Bolt paper and beast blood pellets with insight. Then create the first chalice.


PTHUMERU CHALICE

Layer 1 (No materials needed)
Jump down and climb ladder on the left.
Run past Pendulums
The Switch is straight ahead up the stairs.

Layer 2 - Need 2 Ritual Blood (2)
Run straight ahead and up the ladder.
Run across mini-bridge and go left for the ritual blood.
Turn back and go back across the bridge through the other doorway and turn right to the big room for the switch.

Layer 3 - Need 4 Ritual Blood (2) (In Pre-Boss Bonus Area)
For the Switch - Drop down into the swamp.
Stay right and go up the stairs.
Keep going straight.
Open door and run past ladder.

Pre-Boss Bonus Area -
Go up ladder and open door.
Hug the right side past the bridge and go straight.
There's a door an your immediate right as you enter a big room, open it.
Head for the door straight ahead of you and go left down the stairs.

CENTRAL PTHUMERU

Layer 1 - (No materials Needed)
Go right into a big room with a bell maiden and go up stairs.
Go straight into a dark room and there's a doorway on your left.
Open door straight in front of you and the switch is there past the dogs.

Layer 2 - (Need 3 Ritual Blood (3) - In Pre-Lantern Bonus Area)
Open door and go left.
Open another door and go left again through tunnel.
Watch out for a slug on the roof of the entrance which will fall on you (stay right to avoid it)
Go up ladder and open door.
Ritual Blood is in the chest ahead of you.

For the Switch -
Go straight ahead up the ladder.
There's a doorway on your left, go right and then down the stairs.

Layer 3 - (Need 6 Ritual Blood (3) - In Pre-Lantern Bonus Area - 2 Chests in different rooms)
Open door and then open another door on your left.
There is a chest on your left in a dark room.
Go straight to the right past boulders.
Take a left and open door.
The ritual Blood is in the first chest on the left.

For the Switch -
You'll enter a really big room.
Go to the very end and on your left there will be a ladder.
Go up the ladder and there's a room with a pyro witch.
Go through a doorway on your left and then another doorway on your right.
The switch is in this big room with a bell maiden.

LOWER PTHUMERIAN LABYRINTH

Layer One - (No Materials Needed)

For the Switch -
Go up ladder (Watch out for trap)
Go left and then take another left.
Then take a right and it's in this room with a bell maiden.

Layer Two - (Need Workshop Haze Extractor and 2 Ritual Blood (4) - Both in Pre-Boss Bonus Area)

For the Switch -
Open door, jump into the swamp and keep going straight. (Hug the left side as there's a slug on the roof which will fall on you.)
Go up a ladder, go left over bridge and open door.
Switch is at the top of the stairs.

Pre-Boss Bonus Area -

Go up ladder and then through the nearest door to you. Ritual blood is in chest nearby.
Turn back around and go straight around the pit through the opposite door (Don't jump down into the pit)
There will be 2 snatcher guys around here and you need to kill them in the hope that they will drop 1 Ritual Blood (4).
Head straight on and you'll come to a big open area with a large bridge.
Jumo down to the ground level and head straight ahead.
The Haze Extractor is in a big chest guarded by a shit ton of enemies :)

Layer 3 - (Need 1 Ritual Blood (4))
There is a hidden wall straight ahead. The first chest on your right has the ritual blood.

For the Switch -
Turn back around and go left.
You'll come to a big open area but straight away on the bridge jump down and on your right there will be a swamp tunnel.
Go up stairs and up ladder.
Head left - You'll see a door with a light outside. The switch is in there.
Watch out for trap as you enter.

Layer 4 - (Need 5 Ritual Blood (4))
For the Switch -
Go straight ahead, open door on the left, go up ladder and take an immediate right. The switch will be there.

Turn back around, go across mini-bridge and through doorway on the left.
Run past the fire doggies and you'll enter a big room with a bell maiden.
Go through door at the bottom of this room.
Run straight across bridges and there will be a room a big chest ahead guarded by an enemy which contains 3x Ritual Blood.
There is another chest to the right as you open the big chest. It has 1 Ritual Blood that you need.
Turn back around jump off the bridge to the left as soon as you can.
You'll go through swamp tunnels - Just hug the left side until you come to an open room.
There's a chest with ritual blood on the left behind a carriage.

Note: After you finish running through lower Pthumeru you will have looted 8 Ritual Blood (4)'s from chests. You will be 1 short for making the Defiled Chalice. You kill the two sackmen in layer two above in the hope that one of them drops it. If either of them don't drop it, then you will need to farm the sackman in the layer 3 pre-boss bonus area (Just before Rom). You open a door and a sackman is right there. This is also really close to the lantern so it's a good farming spot. Thankfully from here on out you don't need to pick up any more ritual blood. Just find all the switches and beat the bosses :)

After lower Pthumeru - Restock on bolt paper and pellets. Buy 2 Bastard of Loran (14 insight) and 2 Coldblood Flowerbuds (4 insight). Repair weapon and use yellow backbone to make arcane haze (Need 50). Then create the defiled chalice.

DEFILED CHALICE

Layer 1
Switch -
There's a very large room. Go to the very end and to the left. Then take a right.

Layer 2
Switch -
Run past circular elevator straight ahead and open door.
Hug the right side and go up stairs to highest level.
You'll see a ladder. Jump down, go through a doorway and then turn left.
Switch is at top of stairs.

Layer 3
Switch -
There's a big room. You've got the locked door to Amygdala straight ahead of you. You wanna go to second doorway to the left of that locked door, past the fire dogs. It's good to use Blue Elixir here.
Jump down into the pit. Go straight on and then to the right is the switch.

GREAT PTHUMERU CHALICE

Layer 1
Switch -
Open door and go right (Watch out for trap)
There's a big enough room with a lot of enemies. Hug the left side and open door.
Go up the a ladder, cross bridge and then go through a doorway.
Either go left or right here (You just need to go to the door that's straight ahead on the opposite side.
The switch is on the left down the stairs.

Layer 2
Switch -
Go up stairs and past the fireball.
You'll come to a really big area. Jump down to the ground floor and look for a swamp tunnel on the left. The switch is in here guarded by the most bullshit enemy in the game :)

Layer 3
Switch -
Open door and jump down into the pit.
Go left, up a ladder and across a bridge. The switch is straight ahead.

Note: All the hard bosses have been killed. You only need to go through Ailing Loran to get the Beast Claws in layer 2 for the Hunter's Essence trophy, then you're finished with the chalices.

Buy 9 Ritual Blood (4) and then create Ailing Loran

AILING LORAN

Layer 1
Switch -
There's a big room. Go the very end and to the right there's a ladder.
At the top of the ladder go right and the switch is there.

Layer 2
Beast Claws (Pre-Lantern Bonus Area)

Run straight past rats and up a ladder.
Go across a bridge. The beast claws is in a big chest in a room behind two doors.
